Why does it seem to me that... |

Obama hates his base?
Is it the media making me believe this or
Obama and the democrats themselves leave me cold?
I want to be dead wrong, but for now it's a gut feeling.
I have to say that I've been back and forth with my feelings toward him. It started when he had Rick Warren give the prayer. I ripped my bumper sticker off (Obama for President). But, I love it when he sends the right in to a freak out.
I really hate it when he does this to his base. Either through his people or it's from Obama himself.
Maybe hate is a strong word.
Oh well, who cares what I think. I'm just a dumb voter.

1. He just looks down his nose at his base |
|
It isn't "hate" so much, more like disdain for a necessary evil.

3. I just don't know how much |

more I can take.
I would never vote for a GOP, but why can't he be much more than the lesser evil?
I really had a lot of hope.

7. Obama is triangulating. |
|
Inside the beltway, it's "cool" to attack liberals. It's not "cool" to be considered a liberal.
So, Obama thinks he's making himself acceptable to "the powers that be" by attacking liberals and distancing himself from them.
Worked for Clinton. Might work for Obama in 2010.
Kind of sucks for liberals, though. Might not be real good for the country, either.
