Did anyone see the Auction Kings show with the Faberge pencil?
I'm trying to find out what reference book that guy was using to authenticate it. I've got 2 books about Faberge stuff, but it only features the spectacular items. It would be great to know more about the "every day" (if there is such a thing) items and be able to keep an eye out.

1. I missed that!
Sounds interesting. Maybe you can contact that auction house directly.

2. I'm still looking for the egg. Saw the Faberge exhibit a few
years ago in Richmond VA. Amazing is not a strong enough word. He(and his workers) produced the most amazing things. Keep your eye out for cigarette cases, calling card cases, pins and other jewels, makeup up boxes. The list is endless.

Wish I had books about the works of Faberge but they tend to be in the $50.00 range. First I'll find the egg, then I can buy the book.
(I should live so long!)

3. I found my books at yard sales - $50 is out of my budget, too.
One of them shows a collection of small eggs that are actually pendants. I've always thought those might actually be a possibility to find. Of course, if I ever picked up something and saw the mark I'd have a heart attack on the spot and die.
