I had to call two different places today in the US, one to make an appt., the other a retailer to correct a shipping address that I transposed. DOH!

Both people were SO pleasant and helpful. :loveya: :hug: My heart aches and bleeds for what you guys are going through over there, ordinary folks losing their jobs, yet people are still managing to be cheerful. :grouphug:

I just sat here and cried after I hung up the phone. It is very distressing to see my homeland in such a bad way. :cry: :cry:

We have a glimmer of hope now that Obama and Joe will be in charge. I was just talking to my friend Jim about this this morning -- if McCain had won, my heart would be heavy and I'd actually be SCARED. So bad as it is, we're in good hands. :pals:

2. I know, that's the only thing that has

made me feel better lately. I was in a really bad way during September and October, not knowing who was going to be President. Not like I could do anything anyhow, from where I am :shrug: but I just felt so upset for my daughters, my mom, friends who are retired, friends who are out of jobs.

You are in good hands now. Thank heavens. :hug: I meant to add that I am heartened everytime I see Obama, he is a realist, and he at least tells it to people straight. Unlike Liar-ass-Bushler. That fucker can't wait to pawn this problem off on somebody else. I hope he rots in hell for his do nothingness Presidency!!! :mad: :nuke:
