Hard to believe how quickly the years pass.
Princess Diana died 15 years ago today. And 3 days after that, I was told that I had cancer.

She seemed to be a very caring person, and was gone at such a young age. I'm still here trying to figure out what my purpose in life is.

I better start thinking faster...

5. 100 years ago, did many cancer patients celebrate the 15th anniversay of their diagnosis?
How wonderful that you will soon do that!

I am sure you have encouraged many people along the way and you never know what that impelled them to do in their lives and for other people. And maybe something you already did without even noticing will be important in a few centuries.

I've not figured out my passion or my purpose, either. Maybe some of us fulfill our purposes without ever knowing we have? I hope so, anyway, because I doubt I am capable of thinking any better or any faster than I have in the past.

Anyway, congrats on your upcoming anniversary and thanks for sharing it with us.

3. The years have passed quickly.
I noticed the same thing, Contrary1.

"I'm still here trying to figure out what my purpose in life is."

Me too. I doubt that we will ever figure it out. In the meantime, drink some coffee and enjoy some internet discussions.

6. Oops. I intended my Reply 5 as a reply to Contrary1's OP, not as a reply to DD.
But, it's too late to edit.
