Citgo (Venezuela) again the only oil company to donate to Joe Kennedy, Jr. s charity. |
|
The charity provides home heating fuel to those in need of it.

He asks every oil company every year for help and the only one that ever has is Cities Service. Can't spare some oil from all those profits to help? Chavez started giving and gave every year. I was concerned it would stop when he died. Thank heaven, Chavez's successor picked up where Chavez left off.
Everything is relative, but Boston is not so bad most of the time, but we had wind chills of 30 below this year. Western parts of the state really take it on the chin in winter. Then, there are the very northern New England States. Meanwhile, the USG cut fuel subsidies to its own poor citizens.
It's surreal.
The classic horror movie line: The call is coming from inside the house.

3. We cannot abide moochers? |
|
I kid, of course. With a thought of the money wasted by the military-surveillance industrial complex we could take care of every heating contingency.
The percent of "moochers" will grow until it will become humane to develop a suicide pill. Actually I hope there is one in the works for when I am no longer ambulatory.
Can we continue to base the welfare of an individual entirely on how much wealth they can accumulate in a lifetime of striving? Have I become a grumpy old man?
