Making threats against Joe Biden and his family to prevent an indictment against their beloved, but criminal, Leader?
They are threatening to burn the place down to save the wannabe dictator. They want to investigate Speaker Pelosi and the Justice Department for the conviction of those that stormed and ransacked our Capitol, just because they were butt-hurt over the 2020 election. They were angry and destructive and thought they being protected by their Leader.
Now, the newly elected Republican majority wishes to dive back into that sewer. They seem ready to follow the Lead Nuts, Marjorie Taylor Green and Matt Gaetz, back into the arena.
It appears to me that they are attempting to obstruct and prevent the Justice Department from doing their job.
The Trump Revenge Tour Is About To Begin.
Republicans in the House know they can get nothing passed that they would like, so they will go all-in on lies, innuendo, and investigations.
They will attempt to impeach Joe Biden and they may succeed? They will want to investigate everything that has happened in the last two years, beginning with Afghanistan. They will want to investigate the FBI. They may try to impeach Merrick Garland.
They will vote to cut off military assistance to Ukraine because that is what Putin and Trump want them to do.
The next two years will be all about Trump's revenge.
Is Kevin McCarthy making plans for a trip to Mar-a-Lago, as we speak?
He is preparing for another meeting with Donald Trump?
Why do we say that?
It is reported that McCarthy met with Steven Miller today. Why would he meet with Steven Miller if it was not to convey a message from Donald Trump?
McCarthy sees Trump as his ticket to getting the job of Speaker. Only Trump can persuade the Freedom Caucus members to hold their nose and vote for Kevin. They will do it for Trump.

The Republican Party is in "chaos" after the election. Sun-Tzu is correct. There is opportunity in the midst of chaos.
The question is: What is the best way to take advantage of the "opportunity"?
Democrats and Republicans need to show some sort of bi-partisan effort to unite this country.
There used to be the Gang of 8 that would work together to get the rest of the Senate to come to a consensus. But, I do not know if even two Senators from opposite Parties are now talking?
Why is it important? Because there can be nothing done on the "justice" front unless there are members on both sides willing to admit that the "Big Lie" exists and has caused damage to our country and to the political Parties themselves.
So long as Trump can keep the Party leaders at each others throats, then there can be no charges or indictments for the crimes against our nation.
It would make Merrick Garland's job easier if he knew he had support from both Parties that laws need to be obeyed and no one is above the law. So long as there is no bi-partisan agreement on the most basic of these questions, there will be no justice.
Should AG Garland be criticized or supported?
Not for the purpose of harming his investigation but to strengthen it.
Would he be more aggressive if he received more criticism or would he be more aggressive if he received more encouragement?
Does he need to be more aggressive?
In my opinion, Trump has made a move, by announcing for the presidency, that must be called by the DOJ.
With his recent appeal to the Court, it is obvious what he is most concerned about. It is the Mar-a-Lago search warrant and the discovery of national secrets in his desk drawer. He believes that is where he is most vulnerable at this time. He is attempting to say all the documents are "personal papers" and that by "executive privilege" he had every right to take any documents he wanted at any time he wanted and to classify them as "personal papers".
And he would be right that this is the charge where he is the most vulnerable. They caught him red-handed with the goods.
However, the longer he is permitted to pursue this defense, the more emboldened he will become in his political pursuits.
I do not believe that AG Garland needs to be criticized at this time, but he needs to be encouraged to file some charges related to the stolen documents. He has enough evidence and he needs to show Donald Trump that justice is a serious business, in my opinion. Trump needs to start answering for his crimes.
No more waiting.
The big, ugly wart on the face of the Republican Party.
They can pretend it isn't there but everyone else can see it.
They see the ignorance and hatred. They see the crude and uncivil actions of mediocre minds, bent on revenge and "owning the libs".
They see the laughter and celebration when an old man is hit in the head with a hammer.
They see the lack of respect and compassion for their fellow man.
They see their lust for power over everything else.
They see their hypocrisy, lies, and deceit.
They see their gullibility in following a cult leader over the cliff.
They see their disregard and disrespect for democracy and all the battles of the past.
There are few redeeming qualities that can be mentioned without appearing to be judgmental.
Can you imagine Mike Pence on the witness stand?

"Mr Pence, is it true that you called the Joint Chiefs, the Secretary of Defense, and others on that day, to get assistance?"

"Why didn't the President call these people?"
"That's a question you should ask him."
"Mr Pence, what did you think when the former president said that you had no courage and that you were a "wimp" and a "pu**y"?"
Long pause...."Well, I told my daughter, who was there with me, that it doesn't take courage to break the law, it takes courage to uphold the law."
"You have said that the former president chose to be 'part of the problem'...what did you mean by that?"
"It was obvious which side he was on."
"Mr Pence, why did you wait so long to come forward with this information?"
Will the defeat of Kari Lake be the deathknell for the "Big Lie"?
She is like the last one standing, sworn to be loyal to Trump until her last breath.
Her defeat would signal total rejection of the "Big Lie" and severe damage to the MAGA movement, in my opinion.
They came in like a lion and went out like a mouse.
The voters have thrown them overboard.
The "announcement" tomorrow?
Will he really announce that he is running for president in 2024? But as a America First candidate? Just to show how much he is pissed off with the Republican Party?
And who doubts that he will attack the January 6th Committee and Merrick Garland for attempting to hold him accountable?
