when ambulance chaser/down and out lawyer Frank Galvin (played by Paul Newman) goes to a wake and tries to hand his business card out and gets thrown out on his ass by the deceased's family. Trump in Pittsburgh... no shame...throw him out on his fat ass.

I've seen it advertised a lot lately.

leave this man who pretends to be president alone. There is no need for the press to cover him since there is very little that he says that is coherent or that matters. The press should let him be...they can get their news from other sources. The man is toxic to America. I challenge the news media to pass him by and choose more sane and reliable sources.

No better way to keep people away from the polls.
I'm an "election official" in my home town and I don't have a clue as to what we would do in the event of a bomb scare. I know that last year the State of New Hampshire ruled that elections could not be postponed because of a blizzard. I hate even to mention this because it may incite the crazies but I suspect they already have their sights set on this.
I am gong to pose this question to our Town Moderator (who runs the election) and insist that we have a contingency plan. I suggest that folks here get in touch with their local official and do the same. We may not be able to prevent this shit but we can certainly be prepared to fight back.
If you don't know who to contact, call your Town/City clerk...they will know.

The Secretary of State flies half across the globe to have a pleasant chat with the folks whose consulate was the site of the butchering of an American journalist. Upon his return, the Secretary is asked about his visit and he declares it a great success because the suspected perpetrators have promised him that they will "conduct an investigation."
Meanwhile, our President tells us that he doesn't want to lose out on the Saudis' blood money.
It couldn't be any clearer, this may not be a constitutional crisis, but it is a moral disaster and a bare faced challenge to every good thing we were, are or hoped we would ever be as a country.
I think that if we let this one by, we've pretty much lost everything.

Imagine being 85 and feeling that you can't retire. In my mind, no matter how much you love your work, it would be horrible.
