Great gift idea

Well don’t that beat all! This nut grabber really works!
I usually go outside with a rake and snow shovel to get ahold of the nuts but no longer. Nope. This works with big nuts and small nuts. Any of size nuts you have.
Got it at Southern States so if you go in there and ask for help with your nuts I’m sure they’ll take care of you and get you out of the store in no time.
Great gift idea for anyone who needs help handling their nuts out in the yard.

My daughter just watched this at a birthday party.

During the Cold War, an organization called "Patriot" created a super-hero squad, which includes members of multiple Soviet republics. For years, the heroes had to hide their identities, but in hard times they must show themselves again.

Texas abortion ban remains in effect after appeals court rules against Justice Department

Source: Washington Post

The nation’s most restrictive abortion law remains in place for now, after a federal appeals court on Thursday sided with the state of Texas.

In a brief 2-1 order, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit refused the Justice Department’s request to reinstate an earlier court ruling that had blocked enforcement of the Texas law, which bars the procedure as early as six weeks into pregnancy and makes no exceptions for rape or incest.

The brief order, which is expected to be appealed the Supreme Court, was backed by Judges James C. Ho, a nominee of Donald Trump, and Catharina Haynes, a nominee of George W. Bush.

The order noted the dissent of Judge Carl E. Stewart, a nominee of President Bill Clinton.

Funny Facebook post - called road side assistance for the wrong car

So I did a wee little thing today, by wee little thing, I mean I may have called AAA and Toyota care and tried to break into someone else’s car. 😱😅🤪. Because…. SHOCKER…. My key fob wouldn’t open it. I mean how rude!!! 😂😂😂. Oh this is so true!!! Oh, wait, unmentionable word, stop. My bad mr guy with the utensils trying to break into this car because I asked you to, lol just kidding this isn’t my car 😂 Instead of the grey RAV 4 with the white toll thingy in the window and the exact Yankee candle scent hanging from the rear view mirror and the exact, kid you not, same water bottle in the console. That is backed into the third space on the left side of the far right, on the second floor. My Grey RAV 4 with the white toll thingy, and yankee candle and same water bottle is backed into the third space on the far LEFT side of the second floor….. ooopsie. Sponge Bob….literal two hours later, leaves parking garage feeling like a complete idiot. So when I say I literally have no sense of direction, I MEAN, I have no sense of direction. Gave that guy the best dumb blonde story EVER! I literally would have given him $1000 and told him to leave and never say a word to anyone lol Crawling under rock now, pouty lip.

The incredible story of college football's first -- and only -- eighth-year senior

https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/32382280/the-incredible-story-college-football-first-only-eighth-year-senior

Some of his youngest teammates at ETSU were in the fifth grade when he first started playing college football at Temple in 2014. He has endured more surgeries than he cares to count, accumulated two degrees and is closing in on a third (his MBA), and as recently as the spring of 2020 was a full-fledged member of the workforce as a credit union's marketing coordinator.

To the best of the NCAA's knowledge, Folks is not only the first football player but the first college athlete in any sport to have an eighth year of eligibility. That's right -- eight -- as in two presidential terms and two years shy of a decade.

"Holy hell, he's still playing," marveled Satterfield, now the offensive coordinator at South Carolina. "It's not like he's at Notre Dame, either, where he's getting all the perks and benefits of being at a Power 5 school. You're at ETSU and you get on a bus and ride eight hours to The Citadel to play a game. So he ain't doing it for anything other than the love of the game, which is really cool."

"But then again, I don't really have any debt, so it might balance out," he said. "This experience has been something I couldn't get anywhere else. I want to have the same effect on somebody else's life that all these coaches had on my life.

William C. Rhoden's excellent "Gruden is gone, now the NFL should get rid of those who enabled him"

I am posting the end of this piece.

https://theundefeated.com/features/gruden-is-gone-now-the-nfl-should-get-rid-of-those-who-enabled-him/

My question is to whom was Gruden writing? Who was his audience? Were they league executives, powerful entities in other areas in the sports and broadcast industry? This could explain why former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick was blackballed.

The people who enabled Gruden, who laughed at his racist jokes, guffawed and winked at his anti-gay quips, are still around. So why is it important that we root out these enablers? These enablers are in positions of power and control, making important decisions about who gets hired, who gets promoted and which initiatives are launched.

As for Gruden, I was not surprised that he made the comments via email that were attributed to him. His persona was that of an entitled, charismatic frat boy who made thoughtless, off-the-cuff comments that were passed off as Jon being Jon. That was his allure in the broadcast booth: He would tell it like it is. That he has.

As for the 10 years that have passed since the recovered emails were revealed, in the war on racism, there is no statute of limitations. War criminals should be sought out and punished.
