BREAKING (earlier today)-white mob chasing black men through Boston area streets

(API-Boston) In a city beleaguered by a history of racial tensions another dark day has dawned. Large groups of mostly white people are reportedly chasing a small group of black men in the Boston area.

Others appear to have come out to “help” in anyway they can setting up tables to give out water and actually offering encouragement, “Oh yeah we try to do what we can … so we can make it a little bit easier on them”, said Terry Markle of Hopkinton.

Local police were even involved blocking off traffic and routing the chase. “Well you know these guys they done a lot to get ready for this so you know we do what we can. Let me tell they really put a lot into this” said Police officer Andy Petraic with a wry smile “but you know, it makes them happy so …”.

<snip>

In addition to the community and municipal involvement this does seem to be well coordinated and anticipated event, the “mob” even have their own website, proudly boasting of an over one hundred year history of such behavior.

“They are fast those guys but if you ask me if they can get to the big Citgo sign near Fenway.” Officer Petraic paused, “I think they’ll make it” referring to the chased group, one presumes.

Local Natick residents wait along the route in reenactment period clothing.

Brief exchange at Disneyworld (EPCOT)

This was the only political type thing that I saw in the kingdom....other than the prevailing environmental message

(scene) me waiting behind a guy in his - I would guess - 60's who I overheard as being from Cincinnati:

Me: Hey are you from Ohio?
Him: yeah Cincinnati
Me: I was born in Xenia
Him: Were you there when the tornadoes hit
Me: No we lived in Yellow Springs then

--delay as the cashiers processed his order and the customer next to him --

Cashier 1 to Cashier 2 -- How do you say "tax" in Spanish....much delay after that. The customer said something that included "Brazilia". I realized that he probably speaks Portugese and not Spanish (I told the cashiers this later)

Him: You thinkin' what I'm thinkin'?
Me: (pointing to watch) what, it is taking too long?
Him: No. If THEY are goin' to come into our country they should learn to speak our language

Me:... It's a small world after all

Uranus auroras

Uranus auroras captured by Hubble Space Telescope (VIDEO)

For the first time, NASA's Hubble Space Telescope has snapped photos of auroras lighting up Uranus's icy atmosphere, reported National Geographic. Two short-lived, Earth-sized storms — also known as Northern Lights — were captured by astronomers as they lit up on the day side of the gas giant in November 2011.

Uranus, the seventh planet from the sun, is known for being a bit of an oddball. According to Wired, at some unknown point in its past, the planet was knocked on its side. Its "North Pole" is now the area most planets' equators call home.

The newly found auroras appear to be tiny white dots in Hubble photos. While Earth's auroras appear as giant green curtains of light and can last hours, the new auroras seen on Uranus are fairly small and didn't last more than a few minutes.

"The last time we had any definite signals of auroral activity on Uranus was when NASA's Voyager 2 probe swung by in 1986," said study leader Laurent Lamy, an astronomer at the Observatoire de Paris in Meudon, France, to National Geographic. "But this is the first time we can actually see these emissions light up with an Earth-based telescope."

Kiss’ Gene Simmons Supporting Mitt Romney for President

Source: classichitsandoldies.com

Kiss singer/bassist Gene Simmons appeared on the Fox News Channel’s conservative talk show Fox & Friends on Tuesday morning to wag his tongue about the upcoming presidential election. The outspoken rocker, who voted for Barack Obama in 2008, declared that he hopes Republican candidate Mitt Romney wins this year.

“Americans, smartly, and I applaud them for doing so, vote on the issues and not the party,” he explained about his apparent change of allegiances.

“Hindsight is 20/20,” he continued. “I have some real issues with the economy and how it’s being done. America should be in business and it should be run by businessmen. That’s my philosophy.”

“America is a business,” he maintained. “If you can’t afford to do something, no matter how much bellyaching everybody does…you shouldn’t do it.”

Delusional (Michelle) Duggar says whole world can fit in Jacksonville

http://now.msn.com/now/0330-michelle-duggar-no-overpopulation.aspx

We've heard of New Math" but Michelle Duggar might have to show us her work on this one. The perpetually pregnant TLC mom, who has 19 kids under her (non-chastity) belt so far, told the Christian Broadcasting Network that the pesky rumor of the world being overpopulated is not accurate and that -- stay with us here -- if we all stood "shoulder to shoulder," we could fit the entire planet of 7 billion-plus people in Jacksonville, Fla. ... Duggar continued that she agrees with Mother Teresa, who once commented that saying there are too many children "is like saying there are too many flowers."

Michelle Duggar doesn't believe the world is overpopulated. She's trying to fix that though.
