calimary's JournalNo kidding!
Oh MAN! My mind is blown.
Somebody over there actually shaking off the stupor and coming to his senses?
AND you won't be pardoning anybody, either. WILL YOU.
How'd he put it?
“This is the first I’ve heard of it.”
That’s his standard response when anyone asks him something inconvenient he either knows about or was involved with.
“Well, this is the first I’ve heard of it.”
Excellent! The sounds of desperation.
True. But I bet trump took one look at him and said "sold American!"
None of us realized how eerily true that would turn out to be...
"...down and down they go, round and round they go..."
This is mind blowing! I haven’t felt this vindicated since Nixon!
Are we at the “twisting in the wind” stage now?
But the State Dept IG undoubtedly saw what's happened elsewhere.
And just maybe it made an extra impression. Particularly if f you don’t want to “get any on you.”
That makes sense.
We’re seeing deep-down into the way trump has done business all these years. Sketchy at best. Downright criminal at worst.
This is how he did business all these years. And he either bullied, sued, bribed, threatened, delayed, distracted, or swindled his way out every time. And it’s worked. Well enough to get him out of trouble.
Til now.
Just my opinion here, but I think he’s coming unspooled in public, and on camera in the last few days (especially TODAY at that news conference with the Finnish President). And I think it’s because he feels trapped. He senses the heat’s really turning up. AND he’s starting to realize that his usual tricks aren’t working anymore. The press is ONTO him. And he’s totally knocked off his game.
He doesn’t know what to do now. He’ll fall back on the insults and the name-calling and the lies. But it’s not working anymore like his usual bag o’ tricks does. Probably because, by now, enough of the public has seen enough.
