About Me

Female. Retired. Wife-Mom-Grandma. Approx. 30 years in broadcasting, at least 20 of those in news biz. Taurus. Loves chocolate - preferably without nuts or cocoanut. Animal lover. Rock-hound from pre-school age. Proud Democrat for life. Ardent environmentalist and pro-choicer. Hoping to use my skills set for the greater good. Still married to the same guy for 40+ years. Probably because he's a proud Democrat, too. Penmanship absolutely stinks, so I'm glad I'm a fast typist! I will always love Hillary and she will always be my President.

This.

I too hope that last sentence is wrong. But I fear it won’t be. And how soon? And how close by?

He is indeed.

And if we STILL have to ask why, you know it was and still is

A LOSER!

Excellent!

John Roberts is a Supreme Court Chief Disappointment.

Yeah, I sure get that.

Growing up in Catholic school, you got it from morning through lunch all the way to afternoon dismissal. Nuns and everything, and once a week Father Flanagan came over from the church across the street to conduct that day’s religion class.

Once I got to high school, also Catholic, things were a little more relaxed and we even had a class in comparative religions. A revelation! Looking back, I think that’s when I started “going independent”.

There was a point when I realized I could talk to God whenever I wanted to, and use my own words, and pull from my own thoughts, and it didn’t have to be in any formalized church setting. Truly liberating!

It’s been a journey alright.

I sure miss him.

I definitely got that visual suggestion. "Coming down from on high."

And its presumptions annoyed me. I kept thinking “WHAAAAT?” And “who the heck do they think they are?”

Well, one might hope so.

Gotta say, sometimes I find the response/reaction to GOP skulduggery to be downright naive.

Why wouldn't it? Stalling is one of his favorite go-to tactics.

Drag it out as long as possible, because you might be able to outlast the powers that be, until they’re out of office and maybe replaced by a “friendly” from your side who can magically make it all go away.
