I’m disagreeing with that more strongly every day. With a runaway virus that CAN AND DOES KILL, I don’t think it makes sense to let anybody wriggle their way out of it, for ANY reason. We all owe it to each other as well as ourselves, for the sake of public safety and the greater good. Seems to me we have to put selfishness aside. This is simple. This is not hard.

It’s come to that, seems to me.

We’re at a point where what the individual wants is increasing far outweighed by the needs of the larger group. And anyone demanding to be exempted better damn well have an objectively, factually, independently-verified reason for it. And then maybe they need separate living arrangements with NO exceptions, until this is certifiably over.

It may have to get that way. More likely than not, thanks to the naysayers who just don’t seem to want to give up.

And I’m sorry to be turning into such a hard-ass on this. I wish I didn’t feel that way. I wish I could be more “understanding” and “patient,” but when it looks like sheer pigheadedness to me, all sympathy and kindness just kinda fade away.
