And all anyone's been able to come up with, on either or both of them - from Whitewater to Benghazi - has been a single stained blue dress.

Hillary Clinton was once asked about being the most investigated couple in national politics. She wisely pointed out that they're also the most exonerated couple in that time, because they were cleared in every single case - except for Bill Clinton, of course. But he was convicted of lying - about sex with a consenting adult.

They'd investigate her - AGAIN AND AGAIN, and they'd STILL find nothing. You'd think with the ferociousness of the ways they've attacked her and gone after her, again and again, and ALL the time AND money they've spent trying to find dirty, they'd certainly have found something by now. After all that. And there's been NOTHING.

She sure wouldn't have been up to the shit in which trump has been almost literally drowning.

This is one small, VERY elite, VERY spoiled and over-privileged handful of people who have NEVER faced ANY consequences for ANYTHING they've done. They've been a "rules don't apply" family for at least three generations. Trump had to settle on his shyster trump "University," but I can't think of much else where he faced any penalties of any significance. As with the trump "university" bullshit, he basically just paid off the victims. Like the stuff with which Michael Cohen was involved - the Stormy-Daniels-and-more misadventures. And those are just the ones we know about. This guy has had a LIFETIME of conning people and slickie-boy maneuvering and lying and deceiving and cheating and misleading and fast-talking and short-sheeting victim after victim after victim, mark after mark after mark, sucker after sucker after sucker.

The rest of us have to live by the rules. Hell, both Leona Helmsley and Martha Stewart went to prison for FAR LESS chicanery, comparatively speaking. People are gonna go to prison here for the mere fact of lying to the FBI, as has happened to other weasels in the past. The Watergate gang had to pay, too. Even John Dean - who's being spoken of with a fair amount of admiration these days.

These folks need to pay, too. And we need to see the tax returns. There are HORRID precedents that have been set by this monster. So far he's gotten away with them. But that means we're gonna face this shit again as more dirty assholes and their attorneys point to everything trump made okay, so why shouldn't it be okay for them, too. From here on, we'll have rogue candidates for office from the White House on down claiming they don't have to release their tax returns because we the people can't be allowed to see them so we can fully vet these bastards and know who we're voting for, either.

It's time the trumps PAID. And I don't just mean payoffs to fancy ladies so they won't talk.

That old cliche "the bigger they are, the harder they fall" comes to mind. And I hope this happens. EVERYBODY high and low across the board needs to take a lesson from this: that nobody from the Oval Office on down is above the law. NOBODY. NOBODY. NOBODY.
