Because he's not thinking any farther than a few minutes down the line. He's not thinking about ANY consequences for his actions. He's not thinking, period. He's just spewing and posturing - and maybe flattering himself into thinking he's a good candidate for future political office.

When our son was little, I took him and his sister out for ice cream. He WORE his chocolate cone all over his face, his nose, his hands and forearms, and most of his upper body. Don't know how much he actually ate. Sigh... Looked very much like this photo, except for darker hair. I remember an older couple entering the ice cream store and noticing him (hell, how could you NOT?) and they chuckled - "mmmmm! Somebody's sure enjoying his ice cream!" I smiled and responded something lame about loving the laundry room...

I'm afraid I'm a total lox as far as following the games, the teams, the whatevers, etc. If I ever tune in to the Super Bowl it's really only for the commercials and to see who's entertaining at halftime. Otherwise, what I know about sports - either professional or college or whatever - you could fit on the head of a pin. I only know the Seattle Seahawks exist because my daughter's a big fan. And they ARE in Seattle - correct?

Glad you're here. Yeah, indeed so about the quotas. The police and sheriffs and Highway Patrol and other law enforcement ALWAYS deny that there are quotas. But I'd suspect there are. Just judging from the general police behavior and anecdotal evidence that I've noticed and heard about over the years.
