it seems likely that other serious federal felony trials will be necessary in the not-too-distant future. No one can predict what will happen, of course, but if past experience is any indication, some of these "foot soldiers", once they begin to seriously consider what a couple decades in prison would mean for them, will begin to buy leniency by offering evidence of the "higher ups" who were co-conspirators.
Who knows how many prison beds might eventually be necessary? Where will we put all these thugs? Not to worry---I've got this.
The government prison facility at beautiful Guantanamo Bay at one time housed 558 prisoners. The prisoner population is now---39. If my math is correct, there is room for 519 more inmates down there.
While I think that may be more spaces than we will ever fill, ya just never know. Every time I think my list names every possible candidate for a Gitmo address, I think of 2 or 3 more who deserve to work on their tans in Cuba.

It is my understanding that the now much-discussed and often-claimed "attorney-client privilege"
absolutely does not apply to a situation where the communications sought to be shielded from disclosure amounted to a client and his attorney PLANNING A CRIME
Does that not appear to be exactly what Trump's attorneys were "advising" him about---the planning and attempted execution of a coup---an overthrow of our government?
Just how long do we have to put up with the delays caused by these clowns claiming "traitor's privilege"?
Can we assume they will soon be FORMER attorneys?
With the new "parents' rights" concepts being touted in several states, one has to ask:
why require any specific degree or training or certification for teachers?
If all parents are competent to decide WHAT to teach, HOW to teach it and what facts are NEVER TO BE MENTIONED in a classroom, which child gets promoted and which is held back, then ANYONE should be able to be hired as a teacher.
Obviously, this will eliminate all racism and guarantee that all children will be heterosexuals who profess the "right" religion and mature into "good guys with guns". What could go wrong?
This solves so many problems it is a mystery why no one thought of it before the Florida Man made it his policy and other governors saw the attention it got him.

I understand that there are some who literally have no dollars to spare, but most of us---even if we can't contribute $50 or $100 or more in one chunk---CAN afford $5 or $10 each month. That would amount to $50 or $100 by next November and if hundreds or thousands or more of us do that, well, folks, that can make a BIG difference.
The people who may ridicule you for bothering to send your candidate "only" $10 are simply saying that you are not important; you don't matter.
