Taken to its logical extension, the "philosophy" that insists it is a person's "right" to mingle

with us in the check-out line, sit next to us on a bus or work in a nursing home---all without a mask during this pandemic---boils down to this: "I will do whatever I want whenever and wherever I choose, no matter who it may kill!"

Everyone with a smidgen of grey matter between their ears KNOWS that all of the supposed reasons snarled by the mask-holes to justify their anti-social recklessness are, if you're feeling charitable, "silly". Since I am all out of charity for these snotty overgrown children, I'll call their reasons "hateful bullshit".

The same "intellects" who argue that they have never worn a mask and since they did not get stricken with the virus that "proves" that "covid is a hoax" are the same proud idiots who think that last winter's snow storm "proves" that global climate change is a hoax.

I am for the "No jab, no job!" approach. If these people want go go maskless, let them---and their children---do it at home. "No shirt, no shoes, no service" should include "no shot" and, when available, a covid vaccination should be required---just like the other disease inoculations now required---in order for children to attend school.

If the above seems extreme, I make no apology. I am tired of the nation's "tolerance" of these hateful fools!

I wonder--will the states which are willing to let people decide if mask wearing is "right for them"

also let them decide what highway speed and which side of the road are "right for them"?

Why should a state demand that citizens "give up their rights" simply to drive a vehicle on public highways? Aren't these choices that should be "left to individual Americans"?

Hm-m-m?

Rep. Zoe Lofgren ROCKS! She is publicizing the tweets and posts of 120 House members supporting the

insane and seditionist attempt to overthrow the duly elected POTUS and VPOTUS. No need to name the party of these disgusting traitors!

She asks, somewhat indirectly, why they should be permitted to serve in Congress given the language of the 14th Amendment which should also have been applied to "IT".

Zoe is from the vertebrate wing of the party.

Just a note for the black, brown and other non-certifiable Caucasians who for SOME reason

support and pose in photos with the likes of the Proud Boys, Boogaloo Bois, Oath Keepers, etc.----you know they consider you "Mud People", right?

They call you names behind your back and will drop you like a bad habit if they ever no longer need you for "publicity" purposes.

Is this one of those times when "history rhymes"?

"It was the best of times, it was the worst of times,
it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness,
it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity,
it was the season of light, it was the season of darkness,
it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair.”

In a restaurant, the state and local governments require certain temperatures for dishwater and

coolers.

They set limits for how long food can be kept on a "warming table" and how often the premises must be inspected or treated for insects or mice.

They require hairnets or other head coverings for kitchen personnel and prohibit underaged workers.

They tell the owners what days they can be open and at what hour they must close.

They do all these things to guard the health and safety of the public.

But, somehow, no government authority can find the authority to REQUIRE restaurant employees or patrons to wear a mask to prevent the spread of covid.

Some in the Senate are household names because they are---well, I think the word is "notorious".

They are so arrogant that they just assume that everyone is interested in their opinion about every little thing. They are usually loud, often smarmy and always disgusting. I'd bet my best taw that most who just read that immediately thought of Cruz, Johnson, Paul or Cotton. All are what some would call "show horses" and don't know the difference between "gee" and "haw".

Some of the very best in the Senate, however, usually just speak when they actually have something to say. They speak thoughtfully, use complete sentences and just don't believe that being a noxious smart-ass is an appropriate role for a U.S. Senator. Certainly Schumer, Warren, Hirono, Whitehouse and Klobuchar are such Senators, but no list would be complete without mentioning my Senator, Dick Durbin. Like the others named and several others, Dick is a "work horse" who cares about actually getting things done rather than bragging about fictional accomplishments. Most who listen to what he says and how he says it trust him to do the right thing.

In 2022---and 2024---we need to put some of THEIR show horses out to pasture and replace them with some more of OUR "work horses".

Apparently all of those "reasonable and decent" Republicans were replaced by their

"Dark Side Doubles" for this morning's Senate vote. All 49 of those with "R's" after their names dutifully repeated the traditional GOP motto as America watched on TV: "We've got ours. To hell with y'all!"
