Fred Trump, once arrested at a Klan rally, must surely be spinning in his grave

as his son's most stalwart champion is a black SCOTUS Justice who's married to a white woman.

Why does Marsha Blackburn's hair always look like she just rolled out of bed? Maybe-------

---never mind.

None of us need those visuals.

Of course McConnell will not vote to confirm Judge Jackson.

She's intelligent, decent, extremely well educated, believes in hard work, a just society and even-handed application of the law.

Mitch doesn't like any of that crap.

Some issues just really aren't complicated, folks!

Ginni Thomas, wife of SCOTUS Justice Clarence, THE most reliable no-matter-what-he-does supporter of twice-impeached one term White House occupant Donald Trump, is now known NOT ONLY to have attended the January 6th "Stop the Steal" rally on the Mall, but was in email contact with Mark Meadows, Trump's Chief of Staff, over two dozen times before the insurrection at the Capitol.

There are no "technicalities" about this. There are no obscure "legal issues" which common folk can't fathom.

Clarence Thomas's refusal to AT LEAST recuse himself from any case involving Trump or his administration is not simply wrong; it violates ehical standards that every judge in the country is held to: avoid even the APPEARANCE of bias or self-interest. To use a time-honored legal term, this "STINKS"!

Am I pissed off? You bet!

If he does not have the decency---I know! I know!---to resign, IMPEACH him and investigate dear Ginni till the cows come home!

Carry on.

If any here have any contacts among Rep. Boebert's staff, please let them know that I have

a whole truckload of sailboat fuel for which I haven't got a buyer. She seems like someone who might be interested in it and no reasonable offer will be refused.

Remember that movie, "The Help". I think that since Marsha Blackburn is doing her best

to be "Hilly Holbrook" someone should give her one of "Minnie's pies".

the good of Mother Russia, is necessary.

The word for the day, boys and girls, is "DESPICABLE---deserving hatred and contempt".

Recently, it has been appropriately followed by the name of one of the Republicans on the Senate Judiciary Committee, as in "The despicable Lindsey Graham threw a classic hissy fit" or "The despicable Ted 'Cancun' Cruz preferred to interrupt and talk over Judge Jackson rather than allow her to respond to his ignorant race-motivated questions".

It is a very useful word, kids, and one you should employ whenever it is appropriate. There are 50 Republicsns in the Senate, so you will have plenty of opportunities to raise eyebrows with this addition to your vocabulary!

"Genial" is an adjective meaning "friendly and cheerful". Most of us like genial folks.

Can that term be stretched enough to describe any Republican you can think of?

( Smiling and giggling at a rally don't count. )
