I appreciate not only who Joe Biden chose as his running mate, but also how he treated those he

did NOT choose.

In stark contrast to the classless coward now fouling the White House, Joe personally phoned each of those he had considered and told them that they were not his choice. They did not hear it by tweet. They did not hear it on TV. They did not hear it from some underling.

They heard it directly from Joe Biden because he is decent, he is kind and he respects them.

(The only people Trump has ever dealt with face to face when he delivered disappointing news were Meat Loaf and Gary Busey: "YOU'RE FIRED!" )

"Anti" means "against". "Antifa" is short for "anti-fascism". Therefore, those who are

"anti-Antifa" are against those who are against fascism, which means they are FOR fascism.

Is that clear?

To the Deplorables STILL trying to justify a vote for Trump:

No matter how hard you try, you simply can't pick up a turd by the "clean" end.

Flush him.

'Splain this to me, please. According to the USPS, based on past (successful) experience,

they expect their peak week of deliveries during the Christmas rush this year to begin December 16th. The expect to deliver 2.5 billion pieces of mail during that week.

So, why should delivering maybe 100 to 120 million ballots ( my estimate ) spread out over 5 weeks or so be a terrible problem? (In Illinois, voting by mail begins September 24th.)

I realize Trump's thug postmaster is prohibiting overtime and has made numerous other changes designed to impede prompt mail delivery. But, can he really do anything more than slow the mail? And, if we educate our people to vote early, can't we overcome this attempt to reduce the number of votes cast?

Senator Johnson is a "two-fer". He makes Gohmert seem not so stupid AND he makes

Cruz and Cotton seem compassionate.

After eliminating Charlotte and Jacksonville as potential sites for his acceptance

speech, Trump seemed to have narrowed down his alternatives to either the stately White House or the historic Gettysburg battlefield. Now, however, "lots of people---great people, fine Americans"---are saying that there is yet another possibility: Nevada's "Moonlight Bunny Ranch".

The MBR is, perhaps, the premier brothel in a state which boasts a prostitution industry second only to the GOP. Republican consultants have pointed out that Trump and those who serve him would instantly be at ease among workers brave enough to admit that their goal is to screw as many people as possible. The only real problem would be Pence. They're not sure they can convince him that the Moonlight Bunny Ranch is actually the Mary Magdelene Christian Womens' Retreat. Then, too, "Mother" would have to somehow be "anesthetized" for several days.

But, "lots of people" say it could happen. Stay tuned.

A couple of quotes of Winston Churchill: ( Trump trolls---look him up)

"If you have an important point to make, don't try to be subtle or clever. Use a pile driver. Hit the point once. Then come back and hit it again. Then hit it a third time - a tremendous whack."

"It is not enough that we 'do our best'; sometimes we must do what is required."

As to that first quote, perhaps one of our most "important points" is "Trump is determined to destroy Social Security and Medicare"! This should be trumpeted multiple times each day.

As for the second bit of hard-nosed kickass advice, I have been saying the equivalent for months: "Whatever it takes" to get rid of Trump.
