mopinko
mopinko's Journalwatching msnbc. they are rerunning their 9-11 coverage.
they dont even seem to get what it meant that the first tower has collapsed.
they are showing the cloud of smoke enveloping the whole area, the whole tip of manhattan. they were saying that it appears "a large part of the building has fallen away". even when they start reporting that the building has collapsed, they just dont seem to grip the reality of it.
greatest page not loading today.
i get a couple threads, that is it. tried closing out my browser and coming back, but nothing.
how old were you when you forgave your parents?
most of us have wounds from our childhood, i think. probably most of us hated one or both of them as teens.
i know i didnt really make peace w my dad for his failings (he was an alcoholic) until i was 60 yo.
forgave my mom a lot quicker, because it was my dad i was actually pissed at. i just blamed her for him.
how about you?
on demand now. what's good?
i usually stick to the free movies. there are always some great ones that i missed somehow. less often some good ones that i would like to watch again. i dont do that very often, as there are just too many good ones that i have never seen.
caught mississippi burning last night. not sure how i missed seeing it until now (except that now ex hubby didnt like that sort of thing. confronting issues was not his thing.)
maybe a pinned thread of what free movies are up would be a good thing?
just watched 'mississippi burning'
wow. cant unsee that.
just gripping. so well done. you really feel the horror of the times.
gonna take a couple days to shake that one off.
non-disclosure agreements for freakin volunteers?
sounds like the same one they make trump employees sign.
they must be kidding. never talk about what happened on the campaign, or the trump family?
dude, the biggest reward of volunteering is the stories.
and mr "politically incorrect, says whatever comes to his tiny mind" thinks people should sign a completely unenforceable waiver?
the stupid just keeps getting deeper.
please ja, can i sleep till nov 9?
so are you guys still thinking of a like button for replies?
just curious. so many good posts buried in long threads.
"sanctuary cities"? what's up with that little trope?
i remember reading about a few cities during the dirty wars in latin america, but cant say as i have heard about this in years.
am i missing something?
