wow. just had my mind blown on netflx. the miami band massacre.

about a band that was the irish beatles, 3 of whom were bombed and gunned down during the troubles.

h2oman has had a few posts about the similarities between the situation here, now, and the troubles.
i have been immersed in all things irish for the last 6 mos as i prepared to claim my citizenship. the music, the history, the geography, my family tree. so when i saw this movie i had to watch it.

it was riveting in the beginning for the parallels. but it stayed riveting for the story of 1 of the 2 surviving members to get to the truth. he lost his musically ability after this incident, and dove into finding the truth.

i cannot rec this movie highly enough as we think about where we go from here.

ok, here's the thing about a guitar.

me and this thing are bonding. i have a really good book, but i need new glasses. so i'm just sorta bangin on it, seeing what kind of noises it makes.
my voice teacher and i have been working on piano, but i think a few guitar lessons are in the cards.

it's so light. that's what made me feel that it was the one. just picking it up.

i'm actually serious about this. investments have risks. anyone who invested big in tax cheato's paper in a big way should accept that they made a bad bet. doesnt matter who backs it. any good big investor who didnt consider the possibility that he would run the economy into the ground should be taught that lesson now.
