been a bit obsessed w this album, like i do.
this is one of the songs that has the lyrics, so, i've been singing along. wanted to post it here, and found this little treasure of jt doing the song himself.
steve does it a whooooole lot faster tempo. very diff song here.
facts are pesky things- Study: States With High Murder Rates More Likely To Be Republican
moving tribute to secretary albright. morning joe.
a very personal remembrance, and some facts i did not know.
i'm not sayin how i know this, but have you heard of nitter?
it's apparently a mirror of twitter, but if someone has you blocked on twitter, you can see them on nitter.
that's all i have to say about that.
oops. there's that irish music rabbit hole again.
found this on amazon music on steve earle's station. (not completely sure what that constitutes, but some fine tunes popping up.
well, wish me luck.
contractor scheduled to arrive today to start work on a stalled rehab of one of my rentals.
this apt has been empty for TWO YEARS. the other has been empty for a year, but at least it's done and on the market.
i cant believe how hard it has been to find a contractor. such a drawn out process, so much bullshit, while i sit here and bleed money.
i'm a total mess at this point. both my physical and mental health have been in the shitter. i've lost all faith in my ability to handle anything. feel like i've aged a decade in these 2 yrs.
but i'll have to buck up for a couple weeks at least.
i got a good price, so that helps, even if there are overruns. and it will still be a process to find tenants. both are 4 br, and the market for that is mostly in subsidized housing. when we're done, i'll start the process of signing up. from the nibbles i've had so far on the 1st flr, i will have my pick.
i'm just hoping that getting the work done lifts enough of this weight that i can find my mojo again.
seems to me an attack on a nuke plant is an attack on nato members.
if that plant had gone sour, nato countries are poisoned.
seems like a plausible predicate for a no fly zone.
