LetMyPeopleVote's JournalWatch Joe Arpaio Learn His Pardon Was An Admission Of Guilt
Republicans Have 4 Convicted Criminals Running For Congress In 2018
The GOP is not the party of law and order https://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/joe-arpaio-2018-election_us_5a563b5ae4b03417e8743168?section=us_politics
Arpaio was convicted of misdemeanor criminal contempt of court in July 2017 for defying a court order requiring him to stop illegally detaining people he suspected of being undocumented immigrants based on their race. President Donald Trump pardoned him one month later.
The other convicted criminals running for office as Republicans are Don Blankenship, the former head of the coal mining company Massey Energy who is running in the Republican primary to challenge West Virginia Sen. Joe Manchin (D); former Rep. Michael Grimm, who is challenging incumbent Rep. Dan Donovan (R-N.Y.) to reclaim the Staten Island congressional seat he once held; and Rep. Greg Gianforte (R-Montana), who is running for re-election.
Oops! White House admits it has zero evidence of voter fraud in 2016 election
Kobach could find no voter fraud https://thinkprogress.org/kris-kobach-voter-fraud-findings-ebe089540ede/
The revelation stands in stark contrast to previous comments made by both Trump and former commission vice chair and Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach, who claimed in an interview with right-wing outlet Breitbart one week ago that all investigation work would be handed off to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), implying that Democrats were becoming uncomfortable with how much Republicans had discovered thus far.
Trump also claimed previously that the commission created in May 2017 and charged with identifying vulnerabilities in voting systems that could lead to fraud had uncovered substantial findings which would be handed over to DHS.
Tuesdays court filing contradicted those claims.
The Commission did not create any preliminary findings, White House Director of Information Technology Charles C. Herndon said. In any event, no Commission records or data will be transferred to the DHS or another agency, except to NARA [the National Archives and Records Administration] if required, in accordance with federal law.
He added that no Commission member was provided access to the state voter data prior to the Commissions termination and none has access now.

Author of Google Memo Sues Former Employer For Discrimination Against Conservative White Men
How did this idiot find a lawyer willing to file this piece of crap lawsuit. The attorney who signed the pleadings need to be sanctioned https://slate.com/technology/2018/01/james-damore-google-memo-sues-discrimination-against-white-conservative-men.html
Damore, who filed the suit in the Santa Clara Superior Court, is joined by another plaintiff named David Gudeman, a software engineer who worked at Google for three years.
The accusations against Google are manifold.
One group of allegations has to do with supposed ideological discrimination at the company. According to the filing, the plaintiffs claim the company mistreated employees who expressed views deviating from the majority view at Googles on issues such as diversity hiring policies, bias sensitivity, or social justice. It further argues that political diversity is neglected in favor of race and gender diversity at the company.
Health Insurer Sues Trump Admin Over Slashed Subsidies For Low-Income Patients
The prior ruling rejecting the lawsuit by the State AGs is not the end of the issue on cost sharing reduction subsidies. The lack of an appropriation means that insurers have to sue the federal govt. directly for such subsidies and such judgments will be paid to the insurers. The first such lawsuit was filed http://talkingpointsmemo.com/dc/health-insurer-sues-trump-admin-over-slashed-subsidies-for-low-income-patients
The text of the Affordable Care Act, MCHO argued, guarantees the cost-sharing reduction (CSR) payments to insurance companies to compensate them for having to accept patients regardless of their health status. Following the Trump administrations move to terminate the payments, insurers still have to provide the subsidies to low-income enrollees, but they no longer get reimbursed. A December report from Maines Bureau of Insurance says MCHO lost $1.9 million in October alone due to the loss of the CSRs, and the companys lawsuit says it lost out on at least $5.6 million for the remainder of 2017.
The federal lawsuit, filed in late December in the U.S. Court of Federal Claims in Washington, D.C., is the first to hit the Trump administration on the CSR cuts since more than a dozen left-leaning states banded together in October to sue. (A California federal court declined their request to force the government to pay up, saying the states had not proven their residents would face immediate harm.)

Mr. Higginbotham has since seen the light. He started recognizing similarities between the games battle tactics and his own experience in the U.S. Army. Its virtual warfare, he said.
Juanita Jean-Executive (Wink, Wink) Time
From Juanita Jean http://juanitajean.com/executive-wink-wink-time/
Its probably as bad as you think it might be:
On Tuesday, Trump has his first meeting of the day with Chief of Staff John Kelly at11am. He then has Executive Time for an hour followed by an hour lunch in the private dining room. Then its another 1 hour 15 minutes of Executive Time followed by a 45 minute meeting with National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster. Then another 15 minutes of Executive Time before Trump takes his last meeting of the day a 3:45pm meeting with the head of Presidential Personnel Johnny DeStefano before ending his official day at 4:15pm.
Hell, Honey, Im retired and I have a busier schedule than that.
On the other hand, fixing that hair of his has got to take a whole mess of time.
Report: Omarsoa Is Struggling To Land A Book Deal
Who would buy this book? https://newsone.com/3766720/omarsoa-book-deal-white-house/
The millisecond Omarosa Manigault Newman got the boot from the White House (yeah, we know she claims she resigned), the reality star has been teasing that she has a story to tell. Reportedly, she is ready to dish on Donald, Melania and Ivanka and, allegedly, Omarosa could be Trump worst nightmare. That said, Omarosas dreams of an epic book deal do not appear to be as easy as she thought.
According to RadarOnline.com, the reality star is having serious trouble landing a publisher because she wants too much cash. A source said, She certainly has a story to tell, but it isnt worth the amount of money that she wants. It is also unclear if she would be willing to exploit her 14-year friendship with Mr. Trump in order to make the deal happen. Reports claimed Omarosa could get up to a ten-million dollar deal, which sounds ridiculous. Hillary Clinton reportedly landed a 14-million dollar book deal for 2014s Hard Choices Omarosa deserves nothing close to that amount. For all we know, Omarosa could be leaking the ten-million number to the press to make publishers interested. Also, do we really need a full book from Omarosa on her one-year working at the White House? She could tell her story on a ten-minute interview with Good Morning America. As Robin Roberts said, Bye, Felicia!
RadarOnline.com also reports that she has already been talking with TV executives including the producers of the Real Housewives franchise. Yep, go back to your roots, sis.
Roy Moore's Jewish lawyer voted for Doug Jones, raised money for his campaign
As a Jewish lawyer, this makes me smile http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/roy-moores-jewish-lawyer-voted-for-doug-jones-raised-money-for-his-campaign/article/2644738
Richard Jaffe is an Alabama defense attorney hired by the Moores to defend their son, Caleb Moore, against drug charges in 2016.
Jaffe told the Washington Examiner he has been close personal friends with Doug Jones for over 30 years and he both contributed to, and raised money for, his campaign.
"There could not be a more passionate supporter of Doug than me!" Jaffe said.
