The RNC Whines About Biden Making Fun of Trump At White House Correspondents' Dinner
Republicans are too stupid to have a sense of humor

For someone who is constantly dishing out insults, Donald Trump is notoriously thin-skinned. During the 2011 White House Correspondents Dinner, Trump was savagely mocked by Barack Obama and Seth Meyers. Many pundits attributed this attack to Trump running for President in 2016.
The former President did not participate in the event while he was in the White House. After a number of years and a global pandemic, Joe Biden attended last nights dinner. And there were plenty of shots taken at Donald Trump. This led to complaints by the Republican National Committee.
The organization took particular umbrage at Biden joking, This is the first time the president attended this dinner in six years. Its understandable, we had a horrible plague followed by two years of Covid.
The RNC responded, Joe Biden just called President Trump a horrible plague. Reminder: Biden ran on uniting the country.

Washington, D.C. Speaker Nancy Pelosi released the following statement in recognition of Jewish American Heritage Month:
Jewish American Heritage Month is an opportunity to recognize the innumerable contributions and unwavering resilience of Jewish families across our country. For generations, Jewish Americans have been an integral thread in the fabric of our nation sharing a vibrant cultural tradition and moving us closer to realizing our founding ideals.
With a painful history of fleeing violent oppression around the world, the Jewish people have long found hope in Americas promise of opportunity and religious liberty. As President George Washington wrote to the Touro Synagogue in Newport, Rhode Island more than 230 years ago, the United States gives to bigotry no sanction, to persecution no assistance. Now, in the face of surging antisemitism at home and abroad, our nation must recommit to upholding that bedrock American value. From the vandalism of houses of worship to horrifying acts of mass murder, the dark forces of antisemitism continue to endanger our Jewish friends, neighbors and loved ones. The Congress is committed to confronting and condemning these despicable acts, as we continue fighting to send bigoted hate into the dustbin of history.
From public service and entrepreneurship to the arts and sciences, the achievements of Americas Jewish community have strengthened our nation and our democracy. In celebrating that proud heritage, let us renew our resolve to defend the rights and dignities of every person, everywhere no matter who they are or how they pray.
