Man killed by falling tree as high winds slam Seattle area, toddler survives

We had big winds and rain a couple days ago here in the Pacific NorthWet, and another round is happening right now.

Eta, story has been updated, was a man and the choir in the back seat survived. My latest observation is wind of 36, gust of 58, powers still on.

A woman died in Seward Park Sunday afternoon when high winds sent a tree crashing down on a car, the Seattle Fire Department reported. The death was reported just after 2 p.m. and additional details weren’t immediately available.

Trees are weakened from recent rainstorms and are vulnerable to fall during Sunday’s big windstorms, officials warned.

The Highway 520 bridge was closed in both directions Sunday afternoon due to high winds and water on the road.

Big power outages hit West Seattle, Beacon Hill, Snohomish County and Shoreline Sunday afternoon, and officials warn that outages are likely to increase as the windstorm rages.....

Nancy Reagan's funeral led me to this post, but it applies universally in real life and internet land and politics as well as about funerals.

There is a huge difference between the 2 concepts.
