indicts TFG and TFG winds up with charges - holds him accountable - and maybe sends him to the pokey?
I think that they are hoping that Garland does that so that there is no way that TFG can become the 2024 Repug nominee and they can finally put TFG behind them.
They don't have the guts to do it themselves - but I think that they are pulling for Garland to do it for them. Then they could put up a fake outrage that this happened to TFG - but secretly - they will feel that they dodged a bullet that TFG is disqualified from running for the nomination.
It's a win-win for the Repugs if this happens. TFG would be a drain on the Repug Party and they know it. However, they don't know how they can have a different nominee than TFG for 2024 if TFG is still around and still dodging any accountability for his crimes.
They win because TFG won't be their nominee. They also win because they can feign outrage and still keep TFG's supporters on their side.
Is this just wishful thinking on my part or might I be on to something here?

Seems to me this should be a front page - top of the hour news story - and I've heard little to nothing today about this.
We always hear that the cover-up is worse than the crime.
It's very evident a cover-up is going on here.
What's that saying about 'intent'?

in the Willard Hotel and with the insurrectionists that ransacked the Capitol Building - that this was the way they were all communicating on the ground?
Also - of the missing phone records - what is the timing of the missing records?
- before the attack on the Capitol;
- during the attack on the Capitol
How much missing in the time before and how much before?
and
How much missing during the attack?
Seems to me that it might be important to establish the timing of the missing calls.
Why? Because - was somebody (TFG?) giving instructions and directing the efforts of the insurrectionists? etc....
It's Interesting To Note That Everything TFG Touches Turns To Crap He Fails At Everything - Yet....
he and his accomplices seem to be very good at using and breaking the law and skirting the consequences for their actions.
They are very accomplished with interpreting laws to their liking. They are very accomplished with using burner phones; destroying evidence; and covering up all their misdeeds or at least confusing them to the point that there's not enough there there to hold them accountable.
I always speculated about - what if the crime syndicate infiltrated and took over our government.
Now I believe that we're watching this play out first hand.
Just think about it. Look at all the stuff we've learned about how this attempted coup was planned and pulled off. They appeared to be very organized. From the people on the ground that stormed and ransacked the Capitol. To the war rooms at the Willard Hotel. To the wife of a Supreme Court Justice that had her fingers into the whole thing. To the people behind the scenes at the WH. To the elected Repugs in the House and Senate. To help by various factions of the MSM.
All very coordinated and orchestrated right from the inception of the idea when the Dems identified who their nominee was. The verbal attacks started well before that time and became more intense as the campaign went on to Election Day.
I believe that they knew that they were going to lose - so they created a scenario that was made to look that the 'stealing of the election' was happening because of the other side - the Dems.
We've all watch this play out in real time. We know what happened. We know how they pulled it off. Yet - to this point there is no one thing that can point to an absolute and concrete reason to put these conspirators and traitors behind bars.
I started out by saying - we know a lot about how this was pulled off. I worry, however, about all that we don't know yet or the people behind the scenes that also had their hand in this scheme to overturn an election and essentially end our democracy.

I Turned Off The Last Hour Of The Program 'Gold Rush' - I Could Never Stomach The Hoffman Family....
and they brought them back in a new program called 'Hoffman Family Gold'. There's no way I'm going to watch that program.
I suffered through their earlier seasons. Couldn't stand the personalities in that group. And I can't believe that they thought that they could make another season out of these screw-ups. I hope their ratings tank as people like myself change the channel.
I guess I'll have some extra time on Friday nights during this season.

One Would Think The Other Supreme Court Judges Would Have The Ability To Decide....
the fate of Clarence Thomas.
He is tainting the Supreme Court which is their domain. I would think that they wouldn't want their court to be held in question here and be discredited by one of their own.
They should have the ability to vote amongst themselves to impeach Thomas.
After all - they are the Supreme Court.
They should have jurisdiction on themselves. This Ginnie Thomas thing is a black mark on Roberts himself. It's should be his responsibility to make sure no scandal taints this branch of Government.
