I know this. Things and solutions and ideas come to me from i know not where.

I don't know who is going to be our next US President, but I know that the forces between us and our power will remain, either way.

I was inviting folks over to watch election returns.

I had champagne chilling, and the biggest bag of pretzels you ever saw!

Then my world fell apart.

I am pretty sure I am going to experience PTSD on election night this year. I think I am going to mix up a drug cocktail (Xanax - marijuana - wine maybe? not trying to kill myself..!) and just turn in early.

I will let my spouse update me.

Of course, it feels like we are about to experience something truly wonderfully epic. I also know there will be disappointment and the potential for heartbreak.

They are such beautiful people.  So talented. Strong activist progressives! They have brought so much light and fun into my life. I know it's silly of me. I'm a 65 year old privileged rural white woman. And I love them.
