lawyer and the question I have not seen asked is why dead people have a lawyer and why he is giving press conferences.
When a lawyer acts like this he is normally either protecting huge assets or chasing huge assets and I see neither here. There may be a mortgaged house involved or options on a TV movie. I just can't see a strategy for a windfall that allows a contingency award that pays him off.
Can anyone tell me what his goal is?

Now I am really not a techie and have never had another tablet to compare it to. Since I do have Amazon prime I can stream or download their content which means entertainment even out of wi-fi range. It comes with a browser that seems to work okay and apps that will take me weeks to get through. The thing is that for $35 I've got a nice sized unit I can put in my glove compartment and never be more than the nearest McD's from the net. Now a bunch of smart DUer's could tell you a pile of technical stuff that they understand a lot better than i can but I'll say this-for the price I am floored. I ordered on Thursday and got them (I actually purchased 2) this afternoon. I see on the add that they now are waiting for a shipment due on Dec. 20th so i'm not sure about delivery in time for Christmas. the link has a ton of info and reviews...
Clinton's Middle Class is really Rich People...
What she says is she will not raise taxes on people making less than 250K because they are middle class. You can check it but 250K puts you in the 99% of income earners and even 200K is a 98% income.
I feel bad because people I like who make that kind of money tell us how in certain areas-LA or San Diego or even places like Westport Connecticut 250K is Middle Class.
It ain't. The fact you make a number that looks like a Klondike strike to a normal person in most of America and still times are hard don't mean shit. 50K is both normal and a place I had to work hard to get to. And now I must live on the 14K which is my SS life.
I can live in a quiet place on cash she would find a joke-that is OK. The only twist is this-she says that both I and people who get 250K have the same interests.
If you make that 250K a year though, you better get this-what you make for a year she and Bill make per speech

I can explain that. 6 months ago when Sanders entered the race his supporters could go right down the line and list a long rosters of positions that Bernie supported and Hillary either ignored or opposed. Now 6 months later Clinton insists that she REALLY IS Bernie Sanders but that she is a female (play the gender card) more experienced (play the co-president card) and that even though she is an opponent of Citizens United her campaign chest is much bigger than Sanders (play the inevitable card).
So what are Sanders supporters left with-two facts-Hillary Flip-flops and Hillary Lies. Neither is a pleasant fact but both are easily provable facts. And so long as Clinton claims to be Bernie her flawed character is what is left to debate.

And this question occurred to me: We know Sanders has vowed not to attack another candidate. I wonder if Lessig might not be as benevolent. Anybody here know what this guy is like in a debate? Is Lessig the one they really fear to debate?
On media bias on the debate coverage
As a Sanders supporter I was of course disappointed with much of the media coverage. To me, Sanders was a cut above the rest on both his vision for the country and by a mile the most open and honest. That said Clinton did not have a bad night and I could even see a divided decision on who won. But the near universal meme that Clinton won big is an obvious put up job and at first it angered me.
I've given this some thought-the media and pundits have just surrendered the long game to cheat on a putt. Firstly, any honest person who watched the debate will notice that it was at very least a close match if not a Clinton loss...and so continues the erosion of trust in the talking heads. But it gets better-the word is that Hillary CRUSHED Bernie and that is the new standard she will be fully expected to meet for 5 more full debates. And each and every time she doesn't millions of new first time debate watchers will be amazed as Bernie "miraculously" manages to hold his own with the juggernaut the networks built.
Further because we have seen the reaction of debate watchers I believe Sanders is just at the point of a new explosion of grass roots support and has already received over $2 million in donations.
So there's your takeaway, because of last night, every step of the way until we have a nominee Hillary has got to be seen as at least as good as she was said to have been last night. And all Bernie has to do is what he has done all along.
One of the two is going to disappoint a lot of folks.

He may have chosen to reveal private and deeply personal family information. That is his right. By definition a leak is :"A news leak is a disclosure of embargoed information in advance of its official release, or the unsanctioned release of confidential information." (Wiki)
So Politico can now officially bite me until it can prove Biden did not sanction what he himself said...
Some people lie about their military service
some of those are politicians. We've got maybe a few dozen actual combat vets on this board. Many of them would be embarrassed to say "yeah me.". That is because real combat guys who are still alive, no matter how well they behaved in combat saw fellow soldiers who were, for whatever brief time, braver or crazier or less lucky than they perceive themselves.
The thing is that if you talk to a guy that by your standards is a hero you will never hear it from their lips.I can tell you all about how Bush the lesser won his wings. Can you tell me were or how Max Cleland came to be in a chair? Lindsay Graham will tell you he has 30 years of military service and never mention it was mostly guard duty deferred while he was in the congress.Ronald Reagan told stories of liberating concentration camps-that was a lie.Every barroom has posers and fakes with camo gear, thousand meter stares, and tales of adventure.
Everyone of them will talk about being under fire. In my 60 year lifetime I know less than a dozen who were. You probably know less.
I would ask for two clarifications
I posted a less than flattering discussion about Hillary Clinton in general discussion. While many might not like the post there was no comparison nor discussion of other candidates. My post was locked even though it was solely discussing Ms. Clinton's character.The moderator says a discussion of any candidate, even when relative merits are not discussed belong in GD-P.
When I attempted to recreate the thread by reposting in GDP I attempted tp cut and paste verbatim the locked thread and had a copied post juried and was locked from my second thread based on the comment by another poster.Is this also proper?
I respect the board and mods but find myself this cycle supporting a candidate who is not the choice of the guys who started the board. I know you guys are trying hard to show and even hand and also know I'm near a borderline here. Could we maybe have some guidance.
