Dumb Criminals: Florida Man Accidentally Shoots Self After Leaving Fire Arms Safety Class

BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. —A South Florida man accidentally shot himself in the leg while on his way back from a firearms safety class, police said.

The accidental shooting occurred about 9:45 a.m. Friday near Congress Avenue and Neptune Drive in Boynton Beach.

Police said officers found Eric Morkert sitting in the bed of his pickup truck with a gunshot wound to his right leg.

Morkert told police he'd just left a firearms safety class and had pulled over to inspect his new Glock 17. Morkert said he removed the magazine and was manipulating the slide when the gun discharged.

Porn Hub Reports Record Traffic In Denver During Super Bowl

Sometimes in life, it seems like porn is the only thing you can count on.

Pornhub did God's work by taking a deep dive into their traffic during and after the Super Bowl.

Dumb Criminals: Would Be Car Jacker Gets Trapped In Victim's Garage

When Andre Bacon repeatedly demanded a woman give him the keys to her 2012 Acura MDX in the Cragin neighborhood Saturday, Chicago Police said, she did so.

And then she closed the door to the garage where the car was parked, trapping Bacon inside until officers could come arrest him around 7:30 p.m., according to police reports.

Now Bacon, 21, of 113th and Harvard in Chicago, is charged with attempted vehicular hijacking and theft. Cook County Judge Maria Kuriakos Ciesil ordered Bacon held Sunday in lieu of $75,000 bail.

Police said Bacon approached his victim Saturday in the 3000 block of North Long. He repeatedly demanded she give him the keys to her car, authorities said. She handed them over, police said, then closed the garage door, ran away and called police.

New Rule

Republicans don't get to complain about the multi-lingual version of "America The Beautiful" sung in the Coca Cola ad until they learn to spell their protest signs correctly.
