Top 10 Conservative Idiots #3-12: Wheel Of Corruption: On Stranger Tides Edition

Top 10 Conservative Idiots #3-12: Wheel Of Corruption: On Stranger Tides Edition

Welcome back to the Top 10 Conservative Idiots! The Top 10 Conservative Idiots has a +-1% in reliability over the leading Top 10 Provider. Switch today and save! We are back everybody! We got a lot of idiocy so I'll make the intro short this week. Can we talk about creepy clowns? I know I can't get enough of creepy clowns in the news, but the reboot of Stephen King's classic movie IT is coming into theaters this week. And it's caused a lot of controversy. Mainly in the clown community. Before we get into that, you know one corporation we support here is the Alamo Drafthouse, and they're having an all clown showing of IT the week after the movie's released complete with clown-related activities. But the movie IT has brought back something that has been on everyone's minds that really resurfaced big time last year - which is Coulrophobia - the fear of clowns. And the World Clown Association isn't having any of it. In fact they say it's detremental and counterproductive to the movement. Meanwhile I'm told there's an actual dating website for professional clowns - and many of them attribute their love of clowns. This is a bit hypocritical isn't it? Actual clowns love the original "IT", and are looking forward to the remake, but the World Clown Association isn't having any of it. This is making insanely good sense.

Something to get you in the mood! OK enough of the intro! But first Bill Maher is back and he’s got one of his best New Rules segments that he’s had in a while and destroys Trump:

God where do we begin after what happened on Friday? Well we’re going to bring back the Wheel Of Corruption which has been dormant for a while. Sheesh we saw Dictator Trump in his pure unfiltered form on Friday. In the first slot we’re going to talk about Trump’s pardon of Sheriff Joe and neither one of them will come out ahead in this one. In the second slot, we’re going to talk about Trump’s ban on transgender troops in the military escalating. In the third slot, we’re going to do a deep dive on Hurricane Harvey and Donald Trump’s (3) response to it. In the number 4 slot we were originally going to trash Joel Osteen for his decision to close the doors of his megachurch as shelter, but now we’re going to talk about the big “fuck you” that America’s religious conservatives delivered to the LGBT community called “The Nashville Statement”. In the number 5 slot is a group called “Patriot Prayer”. You might not have heard about the organization but they were in charge of the failed rally in San Francisco last week. In the number 6 slot we’re going to debut a new feature. This is called “Know Your Alt Right” – see we’re not here just to report the news but we’re going to educate you as well as entertain! So we’re going to talk about getting to know the Alt Right. In the seventh slot is a new installment of “This Fucking Guy” and this week’s “This Fucking Guy” is Trump’s closest advisor and guy who has his tin foil hat permanently sowed to his brain, Roger Stone (7). At number 8 is Alex Jones, and he has fucking lost it. I mean really the guy couldn’t be any more insane than he is this week. But we’re going to do something different – we’re going to show you Alex Jones rants, and then suggest the corresponding product from the Infowars store you should buy! At number 8 - the number 9 (NEIN!!!!!) slot we’ve got yet another installment of “People Are Dumb”. Because the stupid keeps coming, and wait until you see what ESPN did! Just… wow. And we will end this week with the next leg of our World Tour 2017. And for the first time since the World Tour began – we are heading to a new continent! This time we’re going on a safari as we head to South Africa! Plus continuing our tradition of having music representative of the country, we are going to end with the Johannesburg EP, as performed by Mumford & Sons featuring African musicians Baaba Maal & Beatenburg. This is a great EP by the way if you don’t have it it’s only a mere $5 on iTunes. Enjoy! And as always don’t forget the key!

No, there’s no need for “basic voodoo hypnotism”. Trump is doing a perfectly good job of demonizing himself, Lance. Spin it again! Donald Trump! so by now you know that Trump screwed the pooch big time by issuing a full pardon to embattled Sheriff Joe Arpaio – which is a slap in the face to all the prisoners who had to endure torture and humiliation under this fucking asshole.

Controversial former Arizona sheriff Joe Arpaio was pardoned by President Donald Trump on Friday after being found guilty in July on criminal contempt charges stemming from his refusal to stop imprisoning suspected illegal immigrants.

"Sheriff Joe Arpaio is now eighty-five years old, and after more than fifty years of admirable service to our Nation, he is [a] worthy candidate for a Presidential pardon," the White House said in part in a press release.

Arpaio, an outspoken critic of undocumented migrants as well as an ardent supporter of Trump, appeared on the presidential campaign trail with the Republican candidate in 2016.

He was said to be under consideration for a pardon last week by Trump, and was all but promised clemency by the president during a rally in Phoenix on Tuesday.

Yeah so there’s that. And as if it couldn’t get any worse. You know how the racists say they’re emboldened under Trump? Well they just got a whole lot more emboldened:

Editorial: Donald Trump said he was going to pardon former Sheriff Joe Arpaio. But knowing in advance didn't soften the blow to Latinos - and equal justice.

While America was talking about tearing down monuments that offend historically oppressed people, Donald Trump effectively erected yet another one.

His pardon of Joe Arpaio elevated the disgraced former Maricopa County sheriff to monument status among the immigration hardliners and nationalists in Trump’s base.

This erases any doubt about whether Trump meant to empower them after the violence in Charlottesville.

Arpaio is their darling. Arpaio is now back on his pedestal thanks to their president.

But there’s not just emboldening the racists – Trump just proved to Joe Arpaio that white collar crime not only pays, it pays big time! And of course he’s blaming Obama, because, reasons.

President Donald Trump’s pardon of convicted former Arizona sheriff Joe Arpaio drew an immediate tweet of gratitude from the man he spared from a six-month jail term.

"Thank you @realdonaldtrump for seeing my conviction for what it is: a political witch hunt by holdovers in the Obama justice department," Arpaio wrote Aug. 25.

There is no question that Justice Department officials under President Barack Obama investigated and joined in legal proceedings against Arpaio, but were they driving the court process that led to his conviction on contempt of court?

The court record and legal opinion say Arpaio is pointing at the wrong people.

But Joe isn’t merely driving here – that’s the way he is every single day! And of course he’s considering running for Senate, because, reasons. Do not let this guy get in the Senate. Don’t do it Arizona!

PHOENIX — Just days after having his criminal conviction wiped out with a pardon, former Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio is weighing another bid for public office — perhaps against Jeff Flake.

The 85-year-old Arpaio acknowledged Monday that his inclination after being defeated last year and found guilty of criminal contempt was to simply retire into the background.

But Arpaio told Capitol Media Services he is entertaining various requests that he reenter political life. And the former sheriff said if he did, he might take on the incumbent U.S. senator who is seeking reelection next year.

Arpaio said any decision is not based on the fact that both Flake and John McCain, the state's other senator, were very critical of Friday's decision by President Trump to pardon him. But he did unload on both, saying they should have spoken to him about the underlying issue before making their statements.

That needs to be played again, because I can’t emphasize what a terrible idea this is:

That felt good! I could spend the whole edition on why pardoning Sheriff Joe is a terrible idea, but all you need to know is who’s defending him – our favorite ultra racist representative Steve King! Yup – racist birds of a feather flock together! And that can’t be good for anybody!

Rep. Steve King (R-Iowa) on Monday defended former Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio of Arizona, who was convicted of criminal contempt of court for refusing to halt his immigration patrols but pardoned by President Trump.

“I don’t agree that profiling is wrong,” King told CNN’s Chris Cuomo. “In fact, if you would take profiling away from the tools of law enforcement, you couldn’t describe a criminal in any way whatsoever.”

King’s comments come hours after Trump defended his decision last week to pardon Arpaio. The former sheriff was convicted last month of contempt for disobeying a court order that he halt his office's racial profiling policies.

“There’s a difference between racial profiling and broader profiling with all of the descriptions that are there,” King argued in the Monday night interview.

Let’s spin the wheel shall we? That was a nice spin there, and it lands on… wait for it… Clip Without Context!

Sigh... Stop it. Just seriously... stop it. I don't even think Jesus knows what to say regarding your stupidity, Dave. Spin it again! And it lands on… Donald Trump. We got to talk about the Phoenix rally. We won’t delve much into the hurricane coverage yet but we’ll keep an eye out for it for next week – mainly what Trump does. But for now let’s trash his rally from last week. And this is your regular reminder that Trump loves his crowd sizes!

(CNN)President Donald Trump was fuming as he sat in his Phoenix hotel watching news coverage ahead of his rally. The venue for his first rally in nearly three weeks looked empty.

That's when George Gigicos, Trump's longtime advance man, got a call from Keith Schiller, the director of Oval Office operations who is almost always at Trump's side, asking Gigicos why the crowds were scarce. Gigicos explained that while TV correspondents were live early from the venue, the rally wouldn't start for several more hours and crowds had just begun to trickle in.

Soon after, Gigicos heard from Trump himself. The President was irate, warning his former director of White House advance who had since returned to his private contracting business, that the venue better be full by the time he arrived, two sources familiar with the discussions told CNN as they described the scene and the President's reaction.

I mean holy shit… and then there was this guy. Can we show this guy?

A familiar figure resurfaced at President Donald Trump’s campaign event in Phoenix, Arizona this week: Maurice Symonette, a.k.a. “Michael the Black Man,” could be seen on camera standing just behind the President, signature “Blacks for Trump” sign in hand.

Symonette captured the media’s attention during the 2016 presidential race after the Miami New Times noted that the frequent Trump rally attendee was a member of a defunct, violent black supremacist cult and had a checkered criminal history, including acquittal on two counts of conspiracy to commit murder. Although South Florida media have reported extensively on his ties to the Yahweh ben Yahweh cult and his promotion, via a radio show and multiple websites, of a bizarrely ahistorical and racialized worldview, Symonette always manages to land a prime spot behind Trump at the campaign events he attends.

Yeah WTF lol. I mean really Trump couldn’t even get the one black guy right! And he’s a batshit crazy extremist as well! I mean really…

Well we might all be doing cannonballs in the streets of Houston. Because we do need to talk about the hurricane for a few minutes.

Really if you haven’t already – text Harvey to the Red Cross helpline at 90999 and help out if you can with a donation. Believe me they need it especially after seeing this:

The president addressed Hurricane Harvey victims like they were at one of his rallies at a public speech in Texas on Tuesday afternoon.

Trump said: ‘Thank you everybody, I just want to say we love you, you are special, we’re here to take care, it’s going well, and I want to thank you for coming out. We’re gonna get you back and operating immediately, thank you everybody — what a crowd, what a turnout.’

Yup! While Houston is literally drowning, Trump is bragging about crowd size! And I’m sure that Trump’s handling of Hurricane Harvey has nothing to do with this:

Even before Hurricane Harvey hit Texas, with devastating impact on the infrastructure of a flooded Houston and other communities, the Trump administration was thinking and acting on flood-control policies.

Unfortunately, the president’s team was thinking about what corporate interests wanted, and acting on their behalf — even as specialists on flooding issues pleaded with the administration to do otherwise. On Aug. 15, Trump and his team overturned an Obama-administration rule requiring that infrastructure projects, including roads and bridges, be designed to withstand the consequences of climate change — such as rising sea levels.

Experts in climate change, coastal management and environmental policy begged the administration to maintain the Federal Flood Risk Management Standard for “climate resilience.” The concern crossed traditional lines of ideology and partisanship, as free-market economic groups and Republican members of the House praised the standard.

But there’s lots of things we could discuss related to the hurricane. Mainly this. This is why we can’t have nice things people! I mean really, Houston is drowning, and we’re discussing this shit?

Melania Trump is sparking controversy, yet again, with her latest outfit.

The first lady left Washington D.C. with husband President Trump on Tuesday en route to Houston, Texas, to assess damage done by Hurricane Harvey, and her ensemble raised quite a few eyebrows. Melania wore black cropped pants, a green bomber jacket and black stilettos as she exited the White House for Marine One.

Yeah BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! Nice try Ann, that shit may have flown 15 years ago, but it ain’t working now! Yeah there’s that. And then there’s Ann Coulter playing the blame game:

It wouldn’t be a devastating storm without someone trying to blame the gays!

Yes, everyone, Ann Coulter is back at it. This time the right-wing media pundit is using Twitter to insinuate that “Houston electing a lesbian mayor” is a more likely explanation for Hurricane Harvey than climate change.

Yep, you read that right.

The mayor in question is Houston’s Annise Parker, one of the first openly gay mayors of a major U.S. city.

And then there’s this douchebag. Be careful what you tweet people!

The University of Tampa has fired a visiting assistant professor who suggested in a tweet that Hurricane Harvey's destruction is "instant karma" for Texas because it voted Republican.

Sociology professor Kenneth L. Storey posted the tweet and two responses on Sunday before removing the entire thread and his profile photo.

Let’s spin it to win it! And it lands on… Polls!

Americans do not hold President Donald Trump in high regard, with most suggesting he is dishonest, unstable, prejudiced and selfish, according to a survey released Tuesday by the Pew Research Center. And the criticisms of the country’s 45th president do not end there, with a strong majority of Americans similarly indicating that they largely disagree with both Trump’s policies and his conduct since entering the White House.

A massive 66 percent said they agree with Trump on none, almost none or just a few of the issues facing the country today. Only 15 percent said they agreed with Trump on all or nearly all of the issues. Even among Republicans, the figure was just 31 percent.

Spin it again! And it lands on… wait for it… Bathrooms! Specifically, Donald Trump’s transgender military ban, which he thought he could slip by on Friday without anyone noticing. So what is Trump planning to do to our trans men and women who are serving our military? So here’s what happened.

President Donald Trump on Friday directed the military not to move forward with an Obama-era plan that would have allowed transgender individuals to be recruited into the armed forces, following through on his intentions announced a month earlier to ban transgender people from serving.
The presidential memorandum also bans the Department of Defense from using its resources to provide medical treatment regimens for transgender individuals currently serving in the military.
Trump also directed the departments of Defense and Homeland Security "to determine how to address transgender individuals currently serving based on military effectiveness and lethality, unitary cohesion, budgetary constraints, applicable law, and all factors that may be relevant," the White House official said.
The White House official who briefed reporters on the memo on Friday evening declined to say whether current transgender troops would be allowed to remain in the military under those policy guidelines.

Yeah BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! Except this wont make America great again! In fact this is the opposite of make America great again! I mean how bad is it? Come on audience say it with me: HOW BAD IS IT?

Media reports about President Trump’s transgender military policy, which he formalized in a directive late last week, have cast the new rules as something less than an outright ban on transgender service. The Associated Press reported that the policy “gave the Pentagon the authority to decide the future of openly transgender people already serving” and that the president “appeared to leave open the possibility of allowing some transgender people who already are in uniform.” A New York Times headline blared that Trump had given Defense Secretary Jim Mattis “wide discretion” over the transgender ban. Indeed, some observers, including supporters of LGTBQ equality, seem to think the policy really isn’t so bad.

In reality, the new Trump policy is the worst of all possible worlds, in part because, like “don’t ask, don’t tell” before it, it’s been designed to be hard to fight in both the court of law and the court of public opinion. Like DADT, it will lose, but not before inflicting serious damage on both trans individuals and the military force-wide.

Yeah it’s wrong all right. It’s wrong on so many fucking levels and it doesn’t take a five star general to figure this one out! I mean how much worse could it be?

Just days after a national address on defense policy in Afghanistan in which Trump lauded the diversity and inclusivity of the U.S. military, the White House appears ready to issue a memo with guidelines to begin barring transgender individuals from serving openly. The memo would signal the administration’s intention to follow through on the ban on transgender service members, announced via tweet on July 26.

According to the Wall Street Journal, the memo would give Defense Secretary James Mattis six months to implement the ban, the ability to consider “deployability” as grounds for separation, prohibit the coverage of transition-related health care and block the accession of transgender troops.

Yeah it’s that bad and it’s possibly getting worse! I mean all this is doing is accomplishing two things – the first is pissing off liberals. That we can all agree on. The second is placating to Trump’s base of hatemongers, racist uncles, and assholes. And yeah it’s even worse than we think! But the good news is that it’s being challenged and will hopefully go to SCOTUS:

Human rights groups filed two federal lawsuits Monday against President Trump and other top members of his administration, alleging that a ban against transgender people serving in the military is unconstitutional.

Plaintiffs include both transgender people who are currently serving in the military and transgender people who wish to serve but are no longer able to because of the ban.

"It is an unconscionable and unconstitutional breach of trust for the president to single out brave transgender service members and able recruits for discrimination," Human Rights Campaign National Press Secretary Sarah McBride said in a statement.

[div style="padding: 20px; background-color: #ffffff; border-radius: 10px; box-shadow: 0px 2px 4px 1px #aaa;"][div style="font-family: arial, helvetica; font-weight: bold; border-bottom: 1px dotted #999; padding-bottom: 8px;"]
The Nashville Statement

[br]

Entering the spin zone! Come on no whammy no whammy no whammy… stop! And it lands on… A Random Tweet!

So much wrong here I don’t even know where to begin. Now if I remember my Republicanese correctly… as far as their grammar rules go – any words that are spelled alike may be spelled differently at random so sight / site, loiters / lotters, you know how it goes. Spin it again! How Is This Still A Thing?

Time once again for:

This week – marriage bigotry. How is this still a thing? So this week, America’s religious conservatives delivered the ultimate “fuck you” to America’s LGBT community by signing something called “The Nashville Statement”, or as we're calling it, the "Bigot Manifesto", which systematically defined the religious definition of marriage as being between a man and a woman, and nothing else counts. Well, fuck you, religious conservatives. Here’s more:

A coalition of evangelical leaders released a “Christian manifesto” Tuesday asserting their belief that marriage should be between a man and a woman, and condemning the acceptance of “homosexual immorality or transgenderism.”

The Council on Biblical Manhood and Womanhood outlined the views in what it called “The Nashville Statement,” and offered it as guidance to churches on how to address issues of sexuality. A group of evangelical leaders, scholars and pastors endorsed the statement Friday at a conference in Nashville. It was initially endorsed by more than 150 people.

The “manifesto,” which is composed of 14 beliefs, rejects the idea that “otherwise faithful Christians should agree to disagree” on gay, lesbian and transgender issues. The leaders refer to this mentality as “moral indifference.”

I think even Jesus himself would be pissed off that this bullshit is still happening, even in the wake of the 2015 SCOTUS decision. And we can all agree that nothing good comes from the word “manifesto”, does it? So religious conservatives have something in common with the Unabomber. Let’s go through some of this thing – it’s certifiably insane.

Evangelical Christians at the dawn of the twenty-first century find themselves living in a period of historic transition. As Western culture has become increasingly post-Christian, it has embarked upon a massive revision of what it means to be a human being.

Oh here we go – the persecuted Christian. Remember we asked how they were still a thing? And did they really need a preamble to this thing? This isn’t the fucking Declaration Of Independence. This is more the Dickwad Declaration. Let’s continue:

It is common to think that human identity as male and female is not part of God’s beautiful plan, but is, rather, an expression of an individual’s autonomous preferences. The pathway to full and lasting joy through God’s good design for his creatures is thus replaced by the path of shortsighted alternatives that, sooner or later, ruin human life and dishonor God.

I believe this document is dishonoring God because even he doesn’t know what to say regarding their stupidity. So let’s skip most of the preamble and get right to the articles. And in the interest of time and logic – something this document is against, we’ll skip around a bit. Article I:

Article 1
WE AFFIRM that God has designed marriage to be a covenantal, sexual, procreative, lifelong union of one man and one woman, as husband and wife, and is meant to signify the covenant love between Christ and his bride the church. WE DENY that God has designed marriage to be a homosexual, polygamous, or polyamorous relationship. We also deny that marriage is a mere human contract rather than a covenant made before God.

They could have just skipped a step and said “if you don’t believe what we believe, fuck you”. Article III:

WE AFFIRM that God created Adam and Eve, the first human beings, in his own image, equal before God as persons, and distinct as male and female. WE DENY that the divinely ordained differences between male and female render them unequal in dignity or worth.

Wait a minute – so are they for equality or against it? Sounds like they’re against it, as the typical white Christian male who cheats on his wife frequently would have you believe. Article 9 (NEIN!!!!):

WE AFFIRM that sin distorts sexual desires by directing them away from the marriage covenant and toward sexual immorality— a distortion that includes both heterosexual and homosexual immorality. WE DENY that an enduring pattern of desire for sexual immorality justifies sexually immoral behavior.

Isn’t this literally the same thing that was said in the first 8 articles? Why must it bear repeating? Like we said, you could have skipped a step and just said “fuck you”. Article 11:

WE AFFIRM our duty to speak the truth in love at all times, including when we speak to or about one another as male or female. WE DENY any obligation to speak in such ways that dishonor God’s design of his image- bearers as male and female.

Does that include when a good Christian man abuses his wife for doing feminine things? Answer me that, oh holy rollers! Finally there’s Article 14:

WE AFFIRM that Christ Jesus has come into the world to save sinners and that through Christ’s death and resurrection forgiveness of sins and eternal life are available to every person who repents of sin and trusts in Christ alone as Savior, Lord, and supreme treasure. WE DENY that the Lord’s arm is too short to save or that any sinner is beyond his reach.

Well… you know what they say about people with short arms and tiny hands…

So in the 24 hours since this document was released, even the mayor of Nashville is condemning this statement:

So the Mayor of Nashville denounced her own city’s “Statement” on bigotry and isolation rather than inclusion. That’s enough to make you ask – gay marriage bigotry:

[div style="padding: 20px; background-color: #ffffff; border-radius: 10px; box-shadow: 0px 2px 4px 1px #aaa;"][div style="font-family: arial, helvetica; font-weight: bold; border-bottom: 1px dotted #999; padding-bottom: 8px;"]
Patriot Prayer
[br]

Let’s give the wheel a spin shall we? Ooh that was a good strong spin there. And it lands on… wait for it…
Chance! Sweet, I get a “Get Out Of Jail Free” card.

I’ll just put that away for later. Spin it again! And it lands on… The Alt Right! Last weekend in San Francisco, there was a hate march being planned. Well, the alt right almost got away with it. Almost. They’ve been responsible for conservative “rallies” in Virginia, UC Berkeley, Evergreen College, and the one in Portland Oregon responsible for the stabbing deaths of two people on an MTA train trying to protect an Islamic girl from getting harassed by a free speecher. But… they’re not violent, folks! Here’s what happened to Patriot Prayer this week.

Hundreds of counterprotesters marched on the streets of San Francisco on Saturday, the same day that organizers of a right-wing group canceled their events and moved locations, saying they wanted to avoid a riot.

The pro-Trump group Patriot Prayer canceled the “Freedom Rally,” as city leaders braced for the kind of protest that drew extremist groups to Charlottesville, Virginia earlier this month. The Oregon-based group then planned to hold a news conference instead — but that, too, did not happen after the city blocked the venue from the public. Meanwhile, hundreds of counterprotesters gathered at a San Francisco park on Saturday morning and marched until the afternoon, according to media reports.

Of course they blame the left, because the GOP can never take blame for their own stupidity, so you blame somebody else! By the way, if you want to annoy a republican – simply correct them when they call it “The Democrat Party”. Because they look really stupid then! They hate that. They hate even more that they can’t carry their favorite symbols with them – tiki torches and… pets?

Alt-right protesters hoping to wave their apparently beloved tiki torches at the Golden Gate Bridge will be disappointed this weekend, as San Francisco's top cop says the blazing staffs, among many other items including firearms, bikes, and selfie sticks, will be verboten at the controversial "Patriot Prayer" rally scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday at San Francisco's Crissy Field.

As reported Wednesday, Golden Gate National Recreation Area (GGNRA) Acting General Superintendent Cicely Muldoon announced the event's approval, despite the opposition of both local and national officials. "The National Park Service has a long and proud tradition of being the site of peaceful expressions of people’s views under the First Amendment to the US Constitution which guarantees everyone the right to gather together and express their opinions non-violently," Muldoon said. "We cannot deny a permit to anyone planning to exercise their First Amendment rights based on their political stance or beliefs."

And why bring dog feces into it? I mean let’s not make the park a biohazard here!

All the talk this week has been about a planned alt-right rally in San Francisco by the group Patriot Prayer, which is more or less just a Facebook group started by one guy, Vancouver, Washington-based activist and vlogger Joey Gibson. Gibson is an ardent Trump supporter and conservative, but he insists that he is not a white nationalist or white supremacist — he is not white himself, and is of Japanese descent — even though such elements have had a habit of making appearances at his rallies in Portland, Seattle, and elsewhere.

The possibility of neo-Nazis in our midst of the sort who gathered in Charlottesville last weekend has been freaking a lot of people out. And those who are in agreement with my op-ed earlier this week — saying that the left should not be giving these guys the photo op they want in front of the Golden Gate Bridge, doing battle with sticks or guns — have been trying to come up with creative protests of their own.

Why bring your dog to a rally? What did your dog do to deserve that? Oh and this might be my favorite part of the rally.

AN FRANCISCO – Protesters opposing a right-wing gathering in liberal San Francisco claimed victory Saturday when the event was cancelled after city officials walled off a city park -- a move that the event's organizer said was more about silencing his group's message than preventing a violent clash.

Civic leaders in San Francisco -- a cradle of the free speech movement that prides itself on its tolerance -- repeatedly voiced concerns that the event organized by Patriot Prayer would lead to a clash with counter-demonstrators.

Joey Gibson, who is Japanese American and leads Patriot Prayer, said his group disavows racism and hatred and wanted to promote dialogue with people who may not share its views. He cancelled a planned rally Saturday at a field under the shadow of the Golden Gate Bridge after he said his members received anonymous threats on social media and feared civic leaders and law enforcement would fail to protect them.

Well, to be fair, Trump at least got one wall built! Thank you! But this gets even better – unlike the last time the alt right blind sided UC Berkeley, this time the police and protestors were ready for them!

BERKELEY (KRON) — “No hate, no fear. Nazis get outta here.”

That’s what demonstrators are shouting at the Bay Area Rally Against Hate Sunday morning in Berkeley.

Protesters are carrying a variety of signs reading, “Always Antifascists,” “Impeach the Nazi,” “Drive Trump Out,” and other related messages.

Hundreds of people turned out for the event that is expected to last for most of the day.

And of course they’re blaming the left for violence, because reasons. Like the good liars that they are. I mean these people lie like it’s a bodily function!

SAN FRANCISCO — In an interview broadcast live on Facebook, organizers of an aborted "Patriot Prayer" rally originally scheduled for Saturday afternoon here blamed the left for the violence in Charlottesville, Va., and elsewhere.

“What you’re seeing here is a perfect example of the systemic oppression people of right wing thought and ideology have faced within these liberal enclaves,” said Kyle Chapman.

Chapman had been jailed in Santa Rita Jail in Dublin, Calif. after he was accused of taking part in violent brawls during pro-Trump and alt-right rallies in Berkeley in May. He was released on bail of $135,000 Friday night, he said during the interview.

Know Your Alt Right
[br]

Let’s give the wheel a good strong spin shall we? Ooh that was a good spin there! And it lands on… wait for it… something random in the news!

The most disturbing advice came via email from a member of the board of directors of the CBS Corporation, Arnold Kopelson, an Academy Award–winning producer who Griffin used to consider a friend. Kopelson emailed Griffin with a prewritten letter to President Trump that he said she should mail to him, and which Griffin shared with me.

The letter includes phrases like, “Now with my world crumbling around me, I am listening for the first time about the great things you have done and are doing. How stupid I was to follow the lies from the ‘Left.’ It took my terrible mistake to finally see the false news,” and “I do not deserve what I am asking of you. I am begging you to open your heart and forgive me.” Kopelson said that Griffin should “exclusively release the letter to Fox Broadcasting,” adding, “Do not send to the other networks.” “If you don’t do exactly what I’ve written, your career is over,” Kopelson wrote. A spokesman for CBS Corporation declined to comment. When I called Kopelson for comment, he said, “I’m tied up” as soon as I explained the reason for the call, and hung up the phone. Kopelson did not respond to a request for comment via email.

Holy shit, these guys know how to hold a grudge don’t they? Spin it again! And it lands on… sweet! The mystery item! For this next entry we’re going to do something a bit different. Rather than make fun of current events – we’re going to educate you. In fact remember our 5 part lecture series last year on how to talk about Trump? Well this is only going to be one part for now, and we’re going to teach you how to Know Your Alt Right. For starters let’s get any lecture going with some terminology. So what is the Alt Right?

The alt-right, or alternative right, is a loosely defined group of people with far-right ideologies who reject mainstream conservatism in favor of white nationalism. White supremacist Richard Spencer initially promoted the term in 2010 in reference to a movement centered on white nationalism, and did so according to the Associated Press to disguise overt racism, white supremacism, and neo-Nazism. The term drew considerable media attention and controversy during and after the 2016 US presidential election.

And then what is Kek? That is a term commonly associated with the Alt Right.

Kekistan is a fictional country created by 4chan members that has become a political meme and online movement. According to Ian Miles Cheong writing in Heat Street, the name is a portmanteau of "kek" and the suffix "-stan", which is Persian for "place of" (and the end of several names of actual Central Asian countries and regions), and Kekistanis identify themselves as 'shitposters' persecuted by excessive political correctness. He writes that "although there are undoubtedly some trolls that use the term, the online movement is fundamentally a politically incorrect reaction to the suppression of free speech". Self-identified Kekistanis have created a cultural mythology around the fictitious country, including a fictional history that includes the invasion and overthrow of the ancient kingdom by the nations of "Normistan" and "Cuckistan".

The Kek flag:

And the other term that is commonly associated with the alt right is the term “cuck”. What is a cuck?

"Cuckservative", often shortened to cuck, is a term of abuse, formed as a combination of the word cuckold and the political designation conservative. It has become an increasingly popular pejorative label used among alt-right supporters in the United States. The word "cuckservative" reached a high level of mainstream political conversation around mid-July 2015, where it gained media attention just a few weeks before the start of the first Republican primary debate for the 2016 United States presidential election. It has maintained its popularity, especially with the political rise, campaign, election, and presidency of Donald Trump.

Some other Alt Right Terms you should know:

Milk – The beverage of choice for the white supremacists who crashed Shia LaBeouf’s now shuttered art project. After Mic reported on the incident and referred to their gallons of whole milk as the new “symbol of white racial purity,” alt-right Twitter accounts began using the bottle of milk emoji in their user names.

Pepe the Frog – A cartoon frog created by artist Matt Furie for his 2005 comic strip Boy’s Club. The anthropomorphic frog was appropriated by white nationalists as their mascot, whom they often depict as a Nazi, a Klansman, Donald Trump, etc.

SJW – Short for “Social Justice Warrior”, SJW is a derisive term used by the reactionary right to describe feminists, anti-racists, proponents of LGBTQ rights, and other social progressives. Used interchangeably with other similarly derisive terms (e.g. Cultural Marxists).

White Genocide – A popular conspiracy on the alt-right alleging that immigration, interracial relationships, and abortion are being pushed on white countries to bring about the destruction of the white race.

Easy answer to that question: YES! These people are insane. I’ve compared the alt right to Insane Clown Posse fans before, but this could easily debunk that comparison:

It’s easy to make fun of Juggalos, the oft-misunderstood fans of clown-painted rappers Insane Clown Posse, but some on the left are embracing them as a line of defense against white supremacy in the U.S. The Juggalo March on Washington, a protest against the government’s classification of Juggalos as a gang, will take place at the National Mall on Sept. 16, the same day as the pro-Trump “Mother of All Rallies.” There’s no love lost between the two sides.

“Let’s make sure we make more noise than those bitch Neo-Nazies, am I right? whoop whoop,” one poster wrote on the Juggalo March event page, which is full of communist and working-class Juggalo memes. It’s possible that internet socialists are the ones pushing the meme that Juggalos are the new communist vanguard, but the response on the page is mostly positive.

Juggalos *AND* The KKK on the same day at the same time? Ooh, who has popcorn and beer?

But they even can’t get online bullying – the only thing they know how to do – right! I mean look at this!

Far-right activists are using fake Twitter accounts and images of battered women to smear anti-fascist groups in the US, an online investigation has revealed.

The online campaign is using fake Antifa (an umbrella term for anti-fascist protestors) Twitter accounts to claim anti-fascists promote physically abusing women who support US President Donald Trump or white supremacy.

Researcher Eliot Higgins of website Bellingcat found evidence that the campaign is being orchestrated on internet messageboard 4Chan by far-right sympathisers.

Yeah BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! They can’t even get that shit right! As if you needed any further proof that they’re deranged, even their leaders are liars and criminals! Like this guy – Based Stick Man:

“Kyle ‘Based Stickman’ Chapman, a 41-year-old Daly City man, could face up to eight years in state prison if convicted of the felony charge of possessing a lead pipe,” The San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Chapman was charged with possession of a “leaden stick allegedly used to hit counterprotesters during a pro-President Trump event in Berkeley,” which could carry an enhanced sentence under California law due to his prior felony robbery and grand theft convictions. Alameda County Superior Court Judge Mark A. McCannon set bail at $135,000 and required Chapman stay 300 yards from the weekend rallies in San Francisco and Berkeley.

But here’s something really interesting – if you’re thinking about learning more about them by going undercover as one of them, uh, you should probably rethink that choice. As one guy found out:

As soon as Theo Wilson started making YouTube videos about culture and race, trolls using racial slurs started flocking to his page.

After engaging in endless sparring matches in the comments section, Wilson began to notice something curious: His trolls seemed to speak a language unto themselves, one replete with the same twisted facts and false history. It was as if they had all passed through some “dimensional doorway,” arriving from an alternative universe where history, politics and commonly accepted facts had been turned inside out.

There was the idea that slavery was a form of charity that benefited enslaved Africans; that freed blacks owned more slaves than whites before the Civil War; that people of color make up the majority of those receiving aid from America's safety-net programs; and that investor and philanthropist George Soros is funding protest movements like Black Lives Matter.

Roger Stone
[br]

Let’s spin it to win it! Come on no whammy no whammy no whammy no whammy no whammy… stop! And it’s another clip without context!

How about this – how about we don’t rely on douchebags who call themselves “coaches” for advice on how to live life? Oh and you think you’re so clever by saying “worship god, not government”. That’s quite possibly the stupidest thing that conservatives have ever come up with! Get the fuck out of here! Thank you! Spin it again! And it lands on… wait for it… This Fucking Guy!

This fucking guy this week is one of Trump’s senior advisors and a guy who has his tin foil hat permanently sown into his brain – Roger Stone. Yeah you might remember Roger Stone as the guy who wrote that scathing book on Bill Clinton back during the impeachment trial. And the GOP has held a 27 year grudge ever since. I mean really. So what did Mr. Stone do this week?

Roger Stone, a close confidant to President Trump and a former adviser to his presidential campaign, threatened Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) on Saturday over the senator’s objection to the president’s decision to pardon former Sheriff Joe Arpaio. “Karma about to get you, @SenJohnMcCain and you will burn in hell for all eternity,” Stone wrote on Twitter. Senator McCain is currently battling an aggressive form of brain cancer. Meanwhile, Stone will reportedly soon be interviewed by the House Intelligence Committee as part of that panel’s investigation of Russian meddling in the 2016 election.

Holy fuck! Don’t mess with this fucking guy! So he’s basically saying if you don’t worship Trump 100% you will burn in eternal hellfire! I mean could he get any crazier? Short answer: Yeah. In fact Roger Stone’s remarks were so controversial that he was recently blacklisted by stoners, a group that he previously had a good repore with!

MIAMI — A group of marijuana activists is calling for a boycott of a major cannabis exposition because its keynote speaker next month will be Roger Stone, a longtime President Donald Trump adviser, infamous political trickster and longtime drug-decriminalization advocate.

Stone recently won praise from cannabis activists after announcing he would help lead a bipartisan group — with the help of Florida medical-marijuana godfather John Morgan — that’s dedicated to persuading the Trump administration to not penalize medical marijuana states and to consider rescheduling the drug at the federal level to recognize the therapeutic properties of cannabis.

But after Trump’s incendiary comments about the racial unrest in Charlottesville, Virginia — coupled with Stone’s history of making inflammatory remarks — four speakers and one sponsor of the Cannabis World Congress & Business Exposition say they’ll boycott if Stone speaks Sept. 13-15 in Los Angeles and at another expo event in Boston from Oct. 4-6.

Dude, what do you have to do to get blacklisted by stoners? I really want to know! In fact Roger Stone is batshit fucking crazy. He’s so crazy that he thinks a full on civil war will erupt if Trump is impeached:

Roger Stone, a former Trump campaign advisor who still counsels the President says if Congress impeaches Donald Trump, there will be all-out war in the U.S.

We got Stone at LAX Wednesday and he warned any politician who's thinking of voting for impeachment to think again, because their lives would be in danger.

He goes on to say "both sides" are heavily armed and bloodshed would be inevitable.

Some members of Congress, including Rep. Maxine Waters, are already pushing hard for articles of impeachment.

Holy shit really! I mean this guy loves him some hyperbole doesn’t he? In fact he doubled down on his Civil War discussion:

Roger Stone, a former Trump campaign advisor and personal friend of the president, says if Congress votes to impeach President Donald Trump, there will be all-out Civil War in the U.S.

"The people who are calling for impeachment are the people who didn't vote for him. They need to get over it," Stone said to TMZ in an airport baggage claim on Wednesday this week.

"They lost. Their candidate had every advantage: They spent two billion dollars, we spent $275 million. Sorry, we whipped their ass. It is over. You lost," he said.

He added, warning: "Try to impeach him. Just try it. You will have a spasm of violence --an insurrection-- in this country like you have never seen before... Both sides are heavily armed, my friend."

I mean how much worse could this possibly get? Well he hates people who criticize the president. In fact he has a zero tolerance for it:

President Donald Trump’s top economic adviser, Gary Cohn, should be fired immediately for publicly criticizing the president, Roger Stone, a longtime Trump confidante, told LifeZette Friday.

Cohn, the chairman of the National Economic Council, aired his disappointment with Trump’s reaction to a racist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, on August 12 that turned deadly.

"This administration can and must do better in consistently and unequivocally condemning these groups and do everything we can to heal the deep divisions that exist in our communities," Cohn told the Financial Times for a Friday story.

Roger Stone’s incompetence knows no boundaries. And he’s one of Trump’s closest advisors. That’s why he’s this weeks’ pick for:

[div style="padding: 20px; background-color: #ffffff; border-radius: 10px; box-shadow: 0px 2px 4px 1px #aaa;"][div style="font-family: arial, helvetica; font-weight: bold; border-bottom: 1px dotted #999; padding-bottom: 8px;"]
Alex Jones
[br]

Let’s spin it to win it! Ooh, that was a good strong spin there! And it lands on… no, a whammy!!!!

Spin it again! Ah, Infowars. Do I really have to talk about Infowars this week? Really? I don’t want to! Fine, make me! What??? I know you are but what am I? Takes one to know one! But mom!!! OK fine I will talk about Infowars. Well for starters, Alex is taking credit for Sheriff Joe’s pardon:

The 85-year-old son of Italian immigrants appeared on an Alex Jones Infowars broadcast via Skype on Tuesday and thanked Jones and other right wing media members for getting his story to the president. “ I want to thank you, Alex, and your staff, Jerry Corsi, Roger Stone, for bringing this story out and reaching the president. I supported him from, what, two years ago at the same forum that he did yesterday, and I’m with him and I’m with him to the end,” Arpaio said, in a clip of a longer interview that Jones teased Wednesday afternoon, according to progressive watchdog Media Matters for America, which monitors Jones’s broadcasts.

Jones accepted credit, saying: “It’s Dr. Corsi writing the articles, and it’s Matt Drudge picked him up, and the president saw it in Matt Drudge’s Twitter feed, and then said, ‘Is this true? I haven’t even heard of this on Fox.’ And he called [Fox News host Sean] Hannity up, and said, ‘Why aren’t you covering this?’”

Jerome Corsi is the Washington bureau chief for Infowars and has written a variety of conservative best-sellers, including Where's the Birth Certificate?: The Case that Barack Obama is not Eligible to be President . Arpaio was also a prominent “birther,” publicly refusing to believe that President Obama was born in the United States.

Yeah there’s that. Now let’s get into much crazier stuff that Alex Jones has said this week, and we’re going to do something a bit different here. Allow me to channel my inner Alex Jones here for a minute and suggest things from the Infowars store that you ought to be buying.

Conspiracy theorist radio host Alex Jones told viewers that globalist forces are using “unwashed masses” of liberals to enact a mass genocide of his followers in order to advance a nefarious globalist agenda.

In a YouTube video posted yesterday, Jones told viewers that because he and his followers are resistant to a globalist agenda to systematically kill off the world population, a conspiracy is underway to use “giant unwashed masses” to execute them.

“Because we won’t euthanize them and because we won’t kill them, the eugenicists are using them and preparing them as lemming armies to run over us,” Jones said. “And they want to genocide us in an act of coming of age.”

Jones claimed that his audience’s “Christian ethos to not annihilate” the public is “being used by the very eugenicists” executing the conspiracy. He went on to claim that his off-the-record “globalist” sources had asked him to join in on their “orderly extermination of these people,” but he refused.

ALEX JONES (HOST): This is video shot by one of their fans where [Michelle Obama] looks like she's either got a rubber snake in her pants or she is -- could be a major porn star in Hollywood. And I'm not putting trannies down. So here's the deal. Joan Rivers said this and died, and none of the media will even cover that she had dinner with the Obamas. She was friends with them, and she was all for it, saying it's great that Obama's gay and that he's got a tranny wife. And it's a big joke on America. And then she died, but they don't ever show in the reports that I'm saying Joan Rivers said it. I was never sure. It was kind of a joke to me. I never created it. But now, there's footage they're trying to pull off the internet where, I guess, she didn't tuck it between her legs or whatever, like right out of The Silence of the Lambs.

Look, see it for yourself. Here's the footage. It's going to go to number one on YouTube. If they try to take it down, you know it's the end of free speech, because I'm covering what people are already covering, and here comes Michelle Obama walking like a man, looking like a linebacker, way bigger than Obama, big hands, big head, and man, I guess she's a devil then. Maybe it's a forked tail that's six inches long. That's it. Michelle Obama is a devil. I've already made that joke about Obama, but maybe it isn't, maybe it's a little forked tail. You decide, what is this hanging between her legs jiggling and flopping around? Here it is. She's adjusting it. I mean I've seen men my whole life, myself, adjust their packages.

“WE GOT TO KEEP THIS OPERATION AFLOAT HERE PEOPLE!!!! I DON’T KNOW HOW MUCH MORE MONEY WE CAN GO THROUGH! INFOWARS CAN’T EXIST WITHOUT THE INFOWARS STORE!! BECAUSE THE GLOBALISTS DON’T WANT YOU TO HEAR THE TRUTH!!! SO TODAY WE’RE GOING TO SELL YOU THESE TACTICAL CONDOMS! ONLY $14.99 A SIX PACK, AND THEY SAY “9/11 WAS AN INSIDE JOB” ON THEM! IN FACT WE HAVE A SEX EXPERT TO TELL YOU MORE!!!” So Alex… sigh… I cant even begin to decipher how batshit crazy this one is. I mean.. Obama isn’t president anymore. Just let it go, man. But switching gears, let’s extrapolate Alex’s weird obsession with trans people. I mean he has it in for them.

ALEX JONES: What do you think the tranny stuff's about? First it’s, "Oh be nice to gay people in the military. Don't be mean to them." Sounds reasonable. Now, boom! It’s trannies! And let's teach sex changes, and give it to anybody you want in the military, and turn it into a giant factory of confusion that will sabotage human operations in the military -- ahead of the robots replacing everybody, which is all admitted. And then when you accept the trannies and the sex changes, well, you’ll accept the brain chips and everything else, which they're now admitting. They simply set a new goal post that sounds incredibly radical so that you'll accept everything else they were already pushing behind that. And then they can persecute the military and persecute one of the only human cultures left -- the male culture of war and defense -- and so they can go in and social engineer and take control of that. While they steal from the public all of our basic rights, they give you the right to be transmutantagenic, to end your humanity, because that's the biological revolution.

And then there’s this – I mean really he’s losing it. Trying to decipher what he’s saying could cause one’s head to explode.

ALEX JONES (HOST): We've got insanity in this hour, into the next. We've got British man, 21, makes history by giving birth to baby daughter. When I read the headline in AP, Reuters, the Sun, I said, it'll be a woman that thinks she's a man that had a baby. And sure enough, it was. Because they haven't produced artificial wombs that work properly. They still got to use cows to grow humanoids and clones. So it's a woman that thinks she's a man that had sex with a man. She had a baby, but they say it's a man. It's fraud! It's not that I hate mentally ill people. If somebody wants to go be a woman or be a tranny, if it's a gay guy and wants to go pick up more guys, you want to go get breast implants and doll your hair up, knock yourself out. I'm all for freedom. But if you really think you're a man, and you're a woman, and you go and have a baby -- now let's show the baby bump -- and the media runs with it that a man had a baby -- no a woman had a baby. A woman had a baby. A woman had a baby. A woman! A woman! A woman! Just like male and female whales, male and female rabbits, male and female praying mantises, male and female bats, male and female tigers. Back up. This is mass mental illness saying that you're biologically a man when you're a woman and you've got a uterus. Again, it's like the South Park piece where he thinks he's a dolphin.

And man he really is obsessed with transgendered people, isn’t he? But this might be one of the craziest things he’s ever said in regards to trans people:

I dealt at Access TV with a famous Austin transvestite, who died a few years ago, who they're talking about building a statue to, going in the bathroom, men and women, and vomiting all over the walls when they would do whatever they were doing in there. I mean, I'm talking about several transvestites cramming their way into the men's bathroom, the women's bathroom. You'd go in there to comb your hair before you went on air, there they were. And they finally got thrown out of there because of it and said it was because of discrimination because they were transvestites. No. It was because whatever they were injecting in there made them throw up all over - I mean imagine every week throw up all over the walls. And then I had an office by this guy. The bad luck is I had an office where we would look down, turned out he lived around the block, and I would have to watch him every day in the cheerleader outfit, through my office window, on the air, doing deals and stuff in cars and stumbling around everywhere. And then I'm not a trendy because I don't bow down. I had to go in there store, there was a grocery store next door... you know with crap dripping down his leg, stinking. And I'm supposed to just go 'oh, you're a trendy with rotten teeth hanging out of your head, and a weird bald head, you're in a dress. Here, here, here, here, please, please more diarrhea running down your leg.

“And now folks, we got to keep this operation afloat. You can buy from the Infowars store today – Infowars brand Tactical Adult Briefs! Need to go when you’re at a protest and you’re on the move and those evil liberals and transsexuals are coming after you and banned you from using their portable toilets? Grab a pair of these and you can go anywhere! I’m actually wearing a pair right now! Ah, that’s freedom, baby!!! What? No! They’re not diapers! They’re briefs! They’re briefs!!!!! They come in camouflage and It even says so right on the box! You can buy these for the low, low price of $23.99 for a box of 16 large ,14 extra large, or 12 extra extra large!”

People Are Dumb
[br]

Let’s spin that shit! Come on no whammy no whammy no whammy no whammy… stop!!! Clip without context!

Oh no Bryan, we can't do that. There's this thing called the "First Amendment" that you should familiarize yourself with. It guarantees freedom of speech as well as religion and right to protest. GTFO my radio. Spin it again! And it lands on… People Are Dumb! Hit it!

So as you know by now people are people, and people are dumb. But first what happens when corporations are dumb? We got to start with this story coming from ESPN where a reporter who was going to cover the University Of Virginia’s football home opener this weekend, but was pulled because of a ridiculously stupid reason:

Following a social media backlash over ESPN moving announcer Robert Lee off the University of Virginia's home opener football game due to "the coincidence of his name," the sports network's president explained the decision.

"There was never any concern - by anyone, at any level -- that Robert Lee's name would offend anyone watching the Charlottesville game," John Skipper, ESPN's president, said in an internal memo obtained by CNN on Wednesday night. "Among our Charlotte production staff there was a question as to whether -- in these divisive times -- Robert's assignment might create a distraction, or even worse, expose him to social hectoring and trolling."

On Tuesday, ESPN switched Lee to the game in which Youngstown State University will face the University of Pittsburgh. The decision came following the violence that broke out earlier this month at a white nationalist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, protesting plans to remove a statue of Confederate Gen. Robert E. Lee.

Sigh… this is why we can’t have nice things people. Next up – drugs! Is it any wonder why Montana was the runner up in our Stupidest State contest? It’s people like this woman who called 911 to complain she got bad meth. You know where’s Heisenberg when you need him?

"I do meth three times a day every day and have never had this reaction before," Margery Ann Dayrider told the police officer who arrived at her home, according to court documents.

Dayrider reportedly called 9-1-1 on Aug. 25 to report medical issues from injecting meth. When officers arrived at her home, Dayrider said she had injected her self at 9 a.m., 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. that day, according to charging documents. She also produced some meth from inside her bra and handed it over to police, who later tested the crystals and confirmed they were, in fact, methamphetamine.

Dayrider was charged with criminal possession of dangerous drugs, a felony. If convicted she could be sentenced to five years in state prison and fined $5,000.

So what’s next in People Are Dumb? I know – how about the world of pornography! Porn – that medium of choice for 14 year old males over going out and actually meeting real females since the 1800s! Well this user attempted to test the limits of Amazon’s unlimited cloud storage. This story brings up many questions, like where do you get 293 *YEARS* worth of porn? :

A Redditor has gone to extreme, X-rated lengths to test whether Amazon's "unlimited" cloud storage scheme was truly unlimited by flooding the service with around 293 years worth of porn.

Curious as to whether the retail giant's now-defunct offering had a hidden storage cap, Reddit user "beaston02" set about recording a whopping 1.8 petabytes of explicit "live cams" and uploaded the behemoth collection of adult streams to Amazon's cloud servers.

Amazingly, it appears that the user did not find a storage cap in Amazon's service, which the company shuttered in June. While he has since abandoned his smutty experiment, the "Petabyte Porn Project" lives on with fellow Redditor "-Archivist" and several volunteers pushing the total up by "upwards of 12 terabytes per day" using Github data released by beaston02.

As for why the project's original instigator stopped, beaston02 said: "Plenty of people have labeled me some huge pervert or someone with a huge porn addiction, but that's really not me at all.

Next in People Are Dumb – let’s go to Ireland. You know we had an awesome time in Ireland as part of the Idiots World Tour. But the TSA is bound to find some ridiculous items left behind on flights, and this one might take the cake, and it falls under the “YOU HAD ONE JOB” category:

Aug. 22 (UPI) -- A headstone with an ironic inscription was one of many bizarre items found abandoned at an airport in Ireland.

The Dublin Airport Authority released a list of unusual items found at the airport lost and found, including a headstone with the inscription "you will always be remembered, never forgotten" that was left behind at a terminal, the Herald reported.

Despite the reverent inscription, the headstone was forgotten in the departures area of Terminal One several years ago.

You will never be forgotten… except that one time! Next up our favorite state – Florida! Because of course what would a discussion about crazy stupid people be without our good friend Florida Man?

When Marco Sullivan was arrested in Lakeland on an outstanding warrant from Orange County, he didn't want his employer to know, so he asked his girlfriend, Martisha Wilson to try and cover it up for him.

He told Wilson to download a Polk Sheriff's Office letterhead. Sullivan told her to write a letter saying that he was on a special mission with the ATF Division of the Polk Sheriff's Office.

But the letter had red flags from beginning to end.

"He'll be on the unit for 6 months or less," Judd read from the letter. "Do (sic) to the severity of the case, I am not able to enclosed (sic), E-N-C-L-O-S-E-D, no farther (sic), F-A-R-T-H-E-R, information," Judd read, spelling out some of the misspelled words.

Finally this week – for People Are Dumb, we go to why not? Also Florida. And if you’re a wanted man who’s running from the law, maybe you *DON’T* watch the eclipse:

Authorities in Florida say an auto theft suspect who wanted to watch the moon blot out the sun instead has a blot on his record.

The Orange County Sheriff's Office said on its Facebook page that Jocsan Rosado was arrested Monday after he parked what deputies say was a stolen car to watch the eclipse.

Deputies say Rosado stole the vehicle, and unbeknownst to him, was being followed by detectives with the auto theft unit.

Deputies say he stopped at a hardware store to purchase a welding mask for watching the eclipse safely.

That’s it this week for People Are Dumb!

Let’s spin the wheel one last time this week! What? Go Directly To Jail? NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wait – I’ve got that Get Out Of Jail Free card! Sweet! Spin it again! And it lands on… World Tour 2017! Hit it!

Part of our mission statement here at the Top 10 Conservative Idiots is to show you that conservative idiocy isn’t just a problem with America. No, it’s a global problem that is stemming far and wide, and it’s not just America where conservative idiots ruin everything they touch. And if you’re thinking of moving out of the United States just because Donald J. Trump is our current president and our nation is turning to shit, you should know what it is you’re getting into should you decide that you want to leave the country. So if you want a recap of where we’ve been so far, finally we’re done with Europe. The European people have been really great to us and we want to thank all of our host countries. But we must move on and stick to the tour schedule! In the last couple of weeks we discovered that Sweden lacks privacy, the Netherlands has a case of food poisoning, and the Czech Republic has some racist neighbors. Now we’re on to Africa! Here’s the tour schedule:

South Africa

Welcome to Africa everybody! We have finally left Europe after 11 stops and now we’re onto the southern nation of South Africa! South Africa is the home of nature – which includes such scenic cities as Johannesburg and Cape Town. It’s the home of the Zulu civilization, if you play Civilization V, you should definitely be familiar with the Zulu nation. It’s the home to some of the world’s largest nature reserves where you can see some of the rare and endangered wildlife you grew up with as a kid, like cheetahs, elephants, and grizzly bears, and you can see it before the trophy hunters get to it. I kid, I kid. Hey miss, give it a chance. We’re almost done this week. Getting back on topic – there’s lots to know and like about South Africa. There’s the capital Johannesburg which includes one of the world’s natural wonders – the Cradle Of Humankind, which many people say hold the key to the origins of civilization. It’s also the home of the Apartheid museum. Yeah there’s really nothing funny about that. South Africa is also home to city states Lesotho and Swaziland. Lesotho has some of Africa’s highest peaks and lowest lows, while Swaziland is home to some of the world’s biggest nature reserves where you can see some of the best wildlife like zebras, lions, cheetahs, tigers and giraffes. But what else is South Africa the home of? Well for starters their racists make ours look like chumps! I mean… holy shit!

A South African judge on Friday found two white farmers guilty of attempted murder after they filmed themselves forcing a black man into a coffin and threatening to burn him alive.

"For attempted murder of Mr [Victor] Mlotshwa, I hereby find you both guilty," Judge Segopotje Mphahlele told the accused before supporters of the victim burst out in celebratory songs in the courtroom.

Willem Oosthuizen and Theo Martins Jackson, both wearing jackets and ties, were also found guilty of kidnapping, intimidation, and assault with intent to do grievous bodily harm.

Al Jazeera's Haru Mutasa, reporting from Middelburg outside the court, said the judge decided to release the two from detention until the sentencing day on September 23.

Yes holy shit indeed! This is far more serious of a crime than what your usual run of the mill American racists do! And while I shouldn’t… I hear Coffin Assault is opening for Danzig this year! Hey I’m your host here! Let’s lighten things up and talk about global warming, shall we?

South Africa’s coastline will be most affected by all the ice caps melting

This kind of goes without saying, but the coastline will cop it. If all the ice melted today, then you’d basically have a beachfront property in Stellenbosch. The West Coast will be gone as would most of the Cape Flats.

Port Elizabeth and East London will lose plenty of its coastline Port Shepstone is basically gone while much of Durban will also be washed under. Richard’s Bay is gone and the Lush iSimangaliso Wetland Park’s name becomes a bit more literal.
How long will it take for all the world’s ice to melt?

While global warming is a serious issue, losing the country’s coastline is obviously not going to happen overnight.

National Geographic reports that eastern Himalayan glaciers “could virtually disappear by 2035”.

Yeah poor Milhouse! Well what else goes on in South Africa? Well, South Africa’s neighbors to the north are the nation of Zimbabwe, who are ruled by murderous dictator Robert Mugabe, and his wife Grace is a gem:

A South African woman who has said she was whipped with an electrical cord by Grace Mugabe has filed court papers challenging her government’s decision to grant Zimbabwe’s first lady diplomatic immunity, advocacy group Afriforum said.

Mugabe is accused of attacking 20-year-old Gabriella Engels after the model went to see the Mugabes’ sons, Robert and Chatunga, at the Capital 20 West hotel in Johannesburg’s upmarket Sandton district earlier this month.

Police had initially placed border posts on “red alert” to prevent Mugabe from leaving the country when the incident came to light. But South Africa’s international relations minister later said she had granted diplomatic immunity to the wife of Zimbabwe’s 93-year-old president, Robert Mugabe.

Afriforum has given legal backing to Engels, and is working on the case with Gerrie Nel, the prosecutor who famously secured a murder conviction against Olympic and Paralympic star Oscar Pistorius.

That was an absolute classic from Keenan Thompson. South Africa is also home to some extreme poverty – and we do put some major emphasis on extreme.

Johannesburg - China has vowed to assist South Africa fight off poverty and increase its economic growth.

Chinese Ambassador to SA Lin Songtian on Thursday said he was prepared to share lessons learnt by his native country and how it has emancipated its people throughout the years.

"I am fully committed to promoting the China-African friendship and am deeply honoured and proud to be able to participate and promote the great cause of China-Africa win-win cooperation for common development. I wish to use the opportunity given to share some of my thoughts on how China has transformed from poverty to prosperity," he said at a press briefing held at the embassy headquarters in Pretoria.

Songtian's remarks come two days after Statistician-General Pali Lehohla released a report which stated that more than 30 million South Africans live in poverty.

Holy shit yes. There’s really nothing funny we can make about that. But is there really anything we can joke about coming out of South Africa? I guess not! This would be a right winger’s dream country – even their hunters are douchebags!
Johannesburg (CNN)South Africa's first online auction of rhinoceros horn is underway, with more than 500 kilograms up for bid from Wednesday through Friday.

On Sunday, the High Court in Pretoria paved the way for the controversial auction, ordering the minister of environmental affairs to hand over a permit for the sale of 264 rhino horns to breeder John Hume.

Hume, who owns the world's largest private collection of rhinos, has battled to overturn a ban on the sale of horn in South Africa for years.

The Verdict & Scorecard

South Africa is a very nice place to visit. However, if you’re thinking of moving there, don’t. They do not welcome outsiders very well, and their neighbors to the north are places you do *NOT* want to visit.

My next guest has recorded an awesome EP that you should definitely check out. It’s called “The Johannesburg EP” and it features Mumford and Sons with Baabal Maal and Beatenburg. Now playing their song “Mora”, give it up for Mumford & Sons!

Yeah how about that?

We are off next week, we'll be back on Wednesday 9/13 with an all new edition. Wait what? That means the tour schedule is screwed up. Great.

See you in two weeks!

Conservative Religious Leaders Release "Nashville Statement" Affirming Anti-LGBT Stance

NASHVILLE — A nationwide coalition of more than 150 conservative Christian leaders signed a statement, released Tuesday, affirming their beliefs on human sexuality, including that marriage is between one man and one woman and approval of "homosexual immorality" is sinful.

The Council on Biblical Manhood and Womanhood's list of 14 beliefs, referred to as the Nashville Statement, is a response to an increasingly post-Christian, Western culture that thinks it can change God's design for humans, according to the statement.

"Our true identity, as male and female persons, is given by God. It is not only foolish, but hopeless, to try to make ourselves what God did not create us to be," the statement from the coalition members reads.

How about this for a new rule - Old white men who cheat on their wives repeatedly don't get to condemn the sexuality of others, OK?

Trump's Trans Military Ban Is Worse Than "Don't Ask Don't Tell"

Top 10 Conservative Idiots #3-11: Heel The Nation (The Weeping Nazi) Edition

Welcome back to the Top 10 Conservative Idiots! The Top 10 Conservative Idiots has a +- 1% difference in idiocy over the leading Top 10 provider! Switch today and save! We are back everybody! So let me just check my Powerball tickets. Damn it, didn’t win. So we’re stuck here. You know can we talk about the solar eclipse for a minute? Particularly I want to talk about one angle of it that not everyone is talking about – the merchandising! I love when people try to capitalize off an event like this because you will see some bullshit. Like the eclipse t-shirt with a unicorn hopping over the moon, because you know in 2017, internet kids do love them some unicorns, right? I mean Krispy Kreme has their own special donut for the event. Dennys had all you can eat pancakes. The Postal Service issued stamps for the eclipse. There’s specialty wines. 711 was selling eclipse glasses for $24.99 – and yes seriously, that’s the price! And then there’s my favorite – the eclipse “Path Of Totality” 2017 tour t-shirt! Hey you cant sell a t-shirt for a fake tour that is not really happening! That’s my fucking job! And of course you can’t have a science based event without selling some specialty marijuana! Because of course stoners would buy all the specialty chocolate they could in order to enjoy the eclipse, because, weed! OK that’s enough of the intro. We got a lot of conservative idiocy to get to. But first you know SNL is on hiatus right now for the summer, but Tina Fey offered some advice on how to deal with Nazis and white supremacists in a Weekend Update spinoff:

Man where do we begin this week? We’re still trying to put together the pieces of Charlottesville, but the Alt Right gets knocked down and gets back up again. In the first two slots we’re dedicating to the Alt Right (1, 2). In the number one slot we’re going to talk about what went down in Boston, New Orleans, and my home, Orange County. In the second slot we’re going to talk about more madness coming from Charlottesville including some pastors who have said some crazy shit lately. In the third slot is Breitbart (3). So unless you’ve been living under a rock by now, Trump fired Steve Bannon, and he is going ape shit, and this means war. Donald Trump is going to be taking over slots #4 and #5 this week. In the fourth slot we’re going to recap his Afghanistan speech, which was a colossal fail. I think sometime we need to ask – “The War In Afghanistan – How Is This Still A Thing?”. At number 6 is Mar-A-Lago (6). And other various Trump organizations, because in the wake of Trump’s comments on Virginia, charities are refusing to hold events at Trump’s mega mansion. In the number 7 slot we’ve got another installment of “Holy Shit” (7) because religious fundamentalists are bringing the crazy extra hard this week. Particularly we’re going to focus on Liberty University because Jerry Falwell Jr is bringing the crazy extra hard, and it’s really pissing off Liberty University alumni. Taking At number 8 is Alex Jones (8). So man on the street interviews are typically done because the average person has no clue what you’re talking about. Well, Alex Jones on the other hand, attempted these in left-leaning Seattle, and it was a spectacular fail. So there’s that. In the number 9 (NEIN!!!!) slot, we’ve got yet another installment of “People Are Dumb” because the stupid just keeps coming, and there was a lot of stupid this week – particularly coming from America’s penis, Florida. And that’s a special kind of crazy. And we will end this week with the next leg of our World Tour 2017. It’s our last leg in Europe and I have to say Europe has been really great to us. But this is a world tour, damn it! And we must hit all 6 continents plus India and the Middle East! So we’re ending by doing it gothic style in the great city of Prague and visiting the Czech Republic! Plus it’s edition #3-11, and as promised we have a very special musical guest planned for this edition. I’m of course talking about 311! Yay! The kids love 311 don’t they? And their new album “Mosaic” is amazing! Enjoy! And as always don’t forget the key!

The Alt Right
[br]

It’s time for the Alt Right Squad! Starring: Leslie Nielsen. Guest starring: Donald Trump. Tonight’s episode: “Heel The Nation (The Weeping Nazi)”. So by now you know the alt right free speech brigade has been getting louder, dumber, and more rowdy as they visit each destination in an attempt to intimidate and harass liberals. So what happened on their latest stop – the great city of Boston? Here’s what happened!

WOBURN, Mass. — Kyle Chapman was sitting in a dimly lit Irish pub about 20 minutes outside of Boston, where Saturday afternoon’s so-called “Free Speech Rally” had just been shut down by tens of thousands of counter-protesters.

“The white man is one of the most discriminated against people in this entire country right now,” he explained.

Chapman—a muscly right-wing organizer who went viral earlier this year after video footage showed him swinging a heavy wooden stick at liberal Berkeley demonstrators—had been scheduled to speak at the rally on Boston Common. But organizers ended up pulling the plug early, he said, when the crowd of counter-protesters grew too large. After being escorted to safety by police, he and other attendees retired here to lick their (metaphorical) wounds.

“I was definitely concerned for my safety and the safety of the other attendees,” Chapman said. “The barricades [that police] set up were four-foot barricades and … there would have been no way to stop the alt-left domestic terrorists if they decided to attack us.”

The alt left are the domestic terrorists? Hey, we’re not the ones carrying AK-47s and AR-15s into Chipotle just to get dinner! Thank you! Man these people are fucking paranoid, aren’t they? I mean just this couldn’t get any crazier could it? Well there’s one thing I definitely don’t agree with and that’s death threats. Seriously, fucking stop it people! Just… stop it!

Nicholas Fuentes, 18, decided to leave Boston University after receiving numerous death threats for being a member of the alt-right, Fox News reported.

Fuentes made the decision last month after constantly being threatened for being alt-right. He says he no longer felt safe on campus.

The rise of the alt-right

The BU student was one of the people who showed up in Charlottesville, Virginia, for the “Unite the Right” rally. He said he has no regrets about attending the rally, despite the increased backlash.

Yeah seriously people, stop with the death threats. Not everything you don’t agree with warrants, I don’t know, death. But getting back to much lighter news, this might be my favorite sign out of Boston:

Yeah they’d better pack a lunch! And of course Trump had to open his big fat Twitter account and say something divisive:

But even the mayor of Boston told the alt right crowd to GTFO before the event even began:

Boston's Mayor Marty Walsh said on Thursday that right-wing “free speech” activists planning a rally in his city on Saturday have as much right to speak their mind as anyone else, but that the city will have a “zero tolerance” policy for violence.

“I didn’t want them to get a permit, quite honestly, but we also believe in free speech in our country,” Walsh told reporters, according to WCVB Channel 5.

The group planning to rally on Boston Common this Saturday is known as Boston Free Speech and is a coalition of far-right organizations. Organizers of the rally insist that they’re not affiliated with the alt-right, neo-Nazis or other groups that turned last Saturday’s “Unite the Right” rally in Charlottesville, VA into a brutal melee that killed one and injured 20 others.

Thousands of counter-protesters are expected for Saturday’s rally. The two groups will be separated by a police barrier. Rally-goers will not be allowed to carry backpacks, signs with sticks or anything else that can be used as a weapon.

Yes they need to get the fuck out. But the best news? They got drowned out without incident like the clusterfuck that was Charlottesville!

The conservative activists had insisted they have no connection to last week's violent protests in Charlottesville, Va., which drew white nationalists and sparked violent clashes and a deadly vehicle attack. But that did not satisfy those who opposed their message. Many of them handed out stickers showing the face of 32-year-old Heather Heyer, who was killed in Charlottesville when a man who attended the white nationalist rally allegedly rammed his car into a crowd of counterdemonstrators.

Earlier, a speaker who addressed the crowd condemned what many see as President Trump's tepid response to events last week in Charlottesville.

"If you don't condemn it, you condone it," the speaker said. Demonstrators also chanted "black lives matter" and "our streets."

On Saturday afternoon, Trump tweeted his response to the rally, commending law enforcement officers on a job well done and protesters on speaking out against bigotry.

Some at the rally carried signs — among them: "Alt-Right Delete" and "The only thing we hate in Boston is the Yankees."

The Alt Right
[br]

You know what people? Don’t be a dick. If you want to know the answer to the question “what would a dick do?”, look no further than the Alt Right. Since the clusterfuck that happened in Charlottesville, people have been asking a lot of questions. The biggest one is “who the fuck are these guys?”. Well, thanks to some rogue people on Twitter, we’ve been learning exactly who these people are that have been wrecking havoc. Yeah we get it, it’s free speech. You have a fundamental right to say this shit as guaranteed by the first amendment to the constitution of the United States. But don’t be a dick about it! Can we agree about that? Well here’s exhibit A – don’t spin what happened in Charlottesville as a false flag:

After pro-Trump outlet The Gateway Pundit drew attention to the SPLC report, which noted that “rumors abound on white nationalist forums that Kessler’s ideological pedigree before 2016 was less than pure and seem to point to involvement in the Occupy movement and past support for President Obama,” fringe right-wing media figures and hyperpartisan fake news purveyors quickly jumped on the claim. Longtime Trump adviser Roger Stone, who is also a host at the conspiracy theory outlet Infowars, tweeted the Gateway Pundit article, writing, “Oops ! Charlottesville “White Supremacist" was an Obama Supporter/Occupy protestor (sic) #fishy #falseflag #SorosOp.” Fake news purveyor Conservative Daily Post suggested the rally was organized by the left to “shatter Trump’s base and depict conservatives as white supremacists.”

Hmmmm… Alex Jones is getting existential on us! Is that a good thing or a bad thing? Well, don’t be surprised when you get outed. Like there’s this guy from Charlottesville who was caught on the documentary show Vice – Chris Cantwell, and he shall forever be known by his nickname “The Weeping Nazi”.

Christopher Cantwell, one of the primary subjects of VICE News' viral documentary on the Unite The Right rally in Charlottesville and a prominent Alt-Right media personality, sobbed in a personal YouTube video after he says a warrant was issued for his arrest.

I called the Charlottesville Police Department... and I said, ‘I have been told that there’s a warrant out for my arrest.’ They said that they wouldn’t confirm it but that I could find this out if I wanted to go a local magistrate or something.

He goes on to tearfully admit to committing violence during the rally, but claims it was self-defense:

If I have to go to jail today, it won't be the first time...I don't want to, I don't think I should...I've been engaged in violence... and I've done nothing to hide that, but it was done in defense of myself and others.

Even Hank Hill is horrified at this! I mean come on, we have actual Nazis here in America , right here, right now! So there’s exhibit A. What about Exhibit B?

A 21-year-old Honeoye Falls, NY man was outed as a white supremacist after photos of him marching in Charlottesville, VA circulated online.

According to the Livingston County News, Jerrod Kuhn was filmed on Friday and Saturday last week by a BBC documentary crew as he carried a torch on the University of Virginia campus and chanted Nazi slogans and marched with the KKK and neo-Nazis the following day.

Rochester, NY-based group called Eastside Antifascists took still images of Kuhn and distributed 250 fliers bearing his photo throughout the Honeoye Falls area with the slogan, “No Nazis in our neighborhood.” The fliers explained that Kuhn is a participant and prolific poster at neo-Nazi website The Daily Stormer, “an avowedly neo-Nazi website around which local groups have been organizing to promote anti-Semitism, white supremacy and violence against LGBTQ communities.”

Sounds and looks like quite the upstanding individual there! But oh we’re not done yet. May the court appoint this as exhibit C?

An 18-year-old who attended the white supremacist rally that turned violent in Charlottesville, Va., says he is not returning to Boston University in the fall, in part because of death threats he has received for his political views.

“It’s becoming very dangerous,’’ Nicholas Fuentes said Tuesday in a phone interview.

He said he has received 15 death threats over the past week via e-mail and social media.

I mean come on, people, don’t threaten death. That’s not cool. Not even for someone as hateful as this douchebag, who thinks liberal leaders should be tried for treason!

Right-wing radio host, commentator and conspiracy theorist Josh Bernstein posted a video yesterday in which he declared that President Obama and the leaders of progressive organizations like People For the American Way, MoveOn.org and Media Matters were to blame for the violence surrounding a recent white nationalist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, and called on President Trump to have them all arrested for treason.

“I blame Charlottesville as a result of that race war that Barack Obama, his administration and the hard left has been perpetrating against America all of these years,” Bernstein said. “Couple that with George Soros and David Brock and all of his left-wing organizations, from Media Matters to MoveOn.org to American Century Bridge to Correct the Record to People For the Un-American Way, as I like to call them, to Right Wing Watch—go head, I’m hoping for another one of your lovely articles about this video—those are the groups, along with George Soros, that with the Obama administration, in concert did everything they could to divide and conquer America, to destroy race relations in America and destroy the civil rights movement as we knew it.”

No, no, there’s no race war going on. And by the way after Charlottesville, I have to show this. This was being planned in my neck of the woods. But really, neo Nazis have to stop pretending like they care about children, because they clearly don’t. And who thought this was a good idea? Really?

Juan Cadavid organized a book-burning event with Brian Enright of the Three Percenters to be held at Huntington State Beach in California. The event was dubbed “Burning Degeneracy – CA,” but they have recently decided to cancel the event out of fear.

According to The OC Weekly, the group advertised the Aug. 19 event by telling people that it was time to “purge their homes, State, and country of degenerate literature.”

“This includes literature of Marxism, Communism, Bolshevism, literature with liberal, democratic tendencies/attitudes, and writings supporting the decline of Western Culture,” the event description read. “Books on sexuality and sexual education which serves to indoctrinate the life of degeneracy, such as Cosmo and Teen Vogue should be brought to the fire as well. We will also burn the Koran, publications such as Karl Marx, and more. We must create a future without degeneracy for our children.”

Breitbart Vs. Trump
[br]

So in case you’re living under a rock, you should know by now that Trump fired Steve Bannon. “You’re fired, OK?”. But now instead of giving one of his own a pat on the back, Trump seems intent on throwing his useful idiots under the bus. You know, just like Hitler did! You know Breitbart – the premier news organization for today’s active 40 year old virgins.

Stephen K. Bannon, President Trump's self-styled liaison to the far right, has departed the White House in the latest staff turmoil, according to the Associated Press.

Long-simmering speculation that he would be forced out intensified recently when retired Marine Gen. John F. Kelly became White House chief of staff, charged with restoring discipline and order. Among other things, Bannon is suspected of stoking right-wing opposition to national security advisor H.R. McMaster.

But by Friday, he had apparently also lost the support of the president for his combativeness, after months of alienating many others within the administration.

By the way that’s how Steve Bannon looked on SNL. You know what’s SNL going to do when they come back? Spicer and Bannon are both out, who will they make fun of next? Well, Death, er, Steve Bannon, will still be around. And he’s already got back to work. This means war!

Monday night, Donald Trump gave a prime time address to the nation on how he intends to move forward in Afghanistan.

During the speech, Trump made clear that he would not be pulling U.S. forces out of Afghanistan and in fact left the door open to adding more troops on the ground there. He acknowledged that this was at odds with the position he held throughout his campaign last year.

“My original instinct was to pull out — and, historically, I like following my instincts,” Trump said. “But all my life I’ve heard that decisions are much different when you sit behind the desk in the Oval Office. In other words, when you’re President of the United States.”

“I will not say when we are going to attack, but attack we will,” Trump said.

This change in position did not go unnoticed by many on the left and right, most notably Breitbart News, the rightwing blog where Trump’s former Chief Strategist Steve Bannon returned shortly after leaving the White House last week.

We’ll get to the insanity that was Trump’s Afghanistan speech in a minute. But there’s more to the madness now that Trump has fired Bannon. Here’s the interesting thing – Bannon was supposed to make a peaceful exit from the White House, but then came Charlottesville:

WASHINGTON — John F. Kelly, the new White House chief of staff, told Stephen K. Bannon in late July that he needed to go: No need for it to get messy, Mr. Kelly told Mr. Bannon, according to several people with firsthand knowledge of the exchange. The two worked out a mutually amicable departure date for mid-August, with President Trump’s blessing.

But as Mr. Trump struggled last week to contain a growing public furor over his response to a deadly, race-fueled melee in Virginia, Mr. Bannon clashed with Mr. Kelly over how the president should respond. Give no ground to your critics, Mr. Bannon urged the president, with characteristic truculence.

At the same time, New York real estate investor friends told Mr. Trump that the situation with Mr. Bannon was untenable: Steve Roth on Monday, Tom Barrack on Tuesday and Richard LeFrak on Wednesday.

By Thursday, after Mr. Bannon undercut American policy toward North Korea in an interview published by a left-leaning magazine, Mr. Trump himself had concluded that Mr. Bannon was too much of a liability.

But come on Trump, you should know by now that Steve Bannon is not your friend. He’s only an insane ultra far right journalist who could break you to his batshit crazy base.

The crude heuristic that transformed Steve Bannon in the eyes of the media from the sewer-dwelling publisher of Breitbart’s “black crime” vertical into a master political tactician goes something like this: Donald Trump was on pace to lose the 2016 election to Hillary Clinton before Bannon joined the campaign last August, and then Trump went on to beat her—using Bannonite race-baiting and character assassination tactics—with a popular vote margin of -3 million.

Just as we can’t replay the election to determine whether Clinton would have won if she’d done more campaigning in the upper Midwest or if James Comey hadn’t sent that letter to Congress, we will never know if Bannon provided the ballast Trump needed to eke out the narrowest of victories.

But his performance as Trump’s chief political adviser in the months between the election and his unceremonious firing last week obliges us, at the very least, to rethink his reputation.

And then even Bannon himself is already declaring the presidency over – and you know they’re just getting started. I mean we’ve been following this shit show since day 1. I mean here’s what I looked like 2 years ago when I started the Top 10. And here’s what I look like now!

As you can tell, this has aged me horribly! But even he’s saying it’s game over for Trump:

Washington (CNN)After his ouster from the West Wing on Friday, ex-White House chief strategist Steve Bannon declared the Trump presidency that his brand of populist, right-wing conservatives helped make a reality is "over."

"The Trump presidency that we fought for, and won, is over," Bannon said in an interview with The Weekly Standard. "We still have a huge movement, and we will make something of this Trump presidency. But that presidency is over. It'll be something else."
"There'll be all kinds of fights, and there'll be good days and bad days, but that presidency is over," he added, according to the Weekly Standard.

Bannon, who left right-wing news site Breitbart to join Donald Trump's campaign in 2016, remained on at the White House as one of the President's most controversial advisers -- and the man generally perceived as the driving force behind Trump's "nationalist" ideology.

Anyone remember that movie Wag The Dog? You know the movie that presented the theory that when a president’s approval rating tanks because of a scandal, the president then launches a fake war to boost approval ratings? Well, there’s nothing that can save Trump’s presidency at this point. Even a fake war! So why not a real one? You know while all the attention is focused on North Korea, there’s two perfectly good wars that conservatives have seemed to forgot about – Iraq and Afghanistan! That is, until last night when Trump said this:

President Trump outlined a revised vision for the U.S. war in Afghanistan on Monday, pledging to end a strategy of “nation-building” and instead institute a policy aimed more squarely at addressing the terrorist threat that emanates from the region.

“I share the American people’s frustration,” he said. “I also share their frustration over a foreign policy that has spent too much time, energy, money — and, most importantly, lives — trying to rebuild countries in our own image instead of pursuing our security interests above all other considerations.”

But Trump provided few specifics about his policy and how much the U.S. military commitment in the region would increase as a result, insisting that conditions on the ground would determine troop levels and strategy.

Sigh… this is why we can’t have nice things. And you know that this comes on the 64th anniversary of when the CIA first overthrew Afghanistan’s progressive government right? Well now Afghanistan is Trump’s war, and the conservatives own it!

President Donald Trump has just made one of the most consequential decisions of his young and turbulent presidency — whether to send thousands more U.S. troops to Afghanistan and to what end. If press reporting is correct, increasing the American commitment in Afghanistan was the Trump national security team’s preferred outcome — and despite the president’s misgivings, the final one. The goal: to help the Afghan National Defense and Security Forces stabilize the security situation, gain the momentum against the Taliban, and prevent the Islamic State from gaining a foothold in Afghanistan.

The Trump administration will assert that this is a new strategy — a clear break from President Barack Obama’s approach — but in reality it is just a moderate adjustment of a core strategy that has been in place for years, with mixed results.

Trump’s just waiting for his “Mission Accomplished” moment, you know that! But you know since we like to present both sides of the argument here at the Top 10, here’s a few things you need to know:

He acknowledged reversing from his campaign position

Trump ran on a position of limiting U.S. engagement in foreign conflicts and has for years advocated a U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan, arguing the United States was wasting billions.

“Why are we continuing to train these Afghanis who then shoot our soldiers in the back? Afghanistan is a complete waste. Time to come home!” he wrote on Twitter in 2012.

But on Monday night, Trump acknowledged he was reversing course on his previous comments, asserting that quickly pulling troops from the country would do more harm than good.

Of course he did! I mean really, at this point do you expect anything less from Trump? I mean that’s only the same thing every other politician does! Congratulations, republicans, your Washington outsider, became a Washington insider last night! Bravo, well done!
He was emphatic that nation building is not the goal

While Trump pledged to continue to support the Afghan government and military in their fight against the Taliban, he made clear his administration would take itself out of other decisions, dubbing the new outlook as “principled realism.”

“I share [Americans'] frustration over a foreign policy that has spent too much time, energy, money and most importantly lives trying to rebuild countries in our own image instead of pursuing our security interests above all other consideration,” Trump said.

“Ultimately it is up to the people of Afghanistan to take ownership of their future. ... We are not nation building again. We are killing terrorists,” he added.

You know the GOP loves to slam the very idea of nation building, but that’s exactly what they are doing, is some fucking nation building! Really, the hypocrisy is ridiculously strong with this one! But you know conservatives love to war monger, and boy Trump did some war mongering Monday night. In fact the military industrial complex – which is more of a thing than the deep state the conservative conspiracy theorists love, won’t be satisfied until they hit the jackpot.

vTrump took a hard line on Pakistan

The White House plans to pressure neighboring Pakistan to push harder on terrorist organizations within and across its borders.

“We can no longer be silent about Pakistan’s safe havens for terrorist organizations, the Taliban, and other groups that pose a threat to the region and beyond,” Trump said. “Pakistan has much to gain from partnering with our effort in Afghanistan. It has much to lose by continuing to harbor criminals terrorists.”

Trump hinted at withholding aid from the country, a tactic that has been used in the past. Defense Secretary James Mattis has withheld $50 million in aid from Pakistan over what the Pentagon described as its insufficient actions against the Haqqani network, a militant Islamic group based in the country.

Wait – Pakistan is next to Afghanistan, which is next to Iran. If the military industrial complex gets their way – TRIFECTA!!!!! Of course they could go for the Superfecta and declare war on North Korea, but we don’t have that kind of time!

We need some music for this one!

Nah, how about:

Better. Closer. Warmer. I know!

Perfect! So how did you celebrate the big eclipse on Monday? Did you buy glasses to look directly at it, or did you try one of the alternate methods? Or did you not give a shit? Or did you give a shit and try to watch the NASA live stream? Which showed everything but the actual eclipse! I shit you not! Or maybe you’re like Trump – you actually kind of gave a shit, and then did the exact opposite of everyone else and stare directly at the sun?

That's Donald John Trump on the White House South Portico, seemingly looking directly into the sun. At the peak of the solar eclipse. Without any sort of protective eyewear on.

This, from the White House pool report of the moment filed by the Guardian's Ben Jacobs is, um, amazing: "At approximately 2:39, the President initially gesticulated to the crowd below and pointed at the sky. As he did so, one of the White House aides standing beneath the Blue Room Balcony shouted 'don't look.'"

Trump did, eventually, put on protective eyewear -- as did first lady Melania Trump.

Can we show that picture?

Dude… what does he think he’s looking at? Maybe it’s invaders from the Deep State who are coming to take him away! Switching subjects., you know we got to talk about how he reacted to the Boston protests. First off, can we show the tweet that nearly broke the internet on Saturday?

Yes, we need to heel and we will heel! Sit! Who's a good boy? Who's a good boy???? Do you want a doggy treat? Yes, good boy! Thank you! See that’s one of those things that where you spell it wrong, has a completely different meaning! And you will be ridiculed extensively if you fuck this up!

Showing what would happen if your computer’s spell check became sentient and snarkily judgmental, whoever runs Merriam-Webster’s Twitter account has taken President Trump to task for a social media spelling error. Again.

It started sometime after 4 p.m. Saturday, at the end of a mostly peaceful protest in Boston, where most demonstrators rallied against hate.

Afterward, the president thumbed out a tweet of solidarity:

“Our country has been divided for decades,” he tweeted. “Sometimes you need protest in order to heel, & we will heel, & be stronger than ever before.”

I like that one! But you know this comes after Trump tweeted about “anti-police agitators” in Boston. Can someone please take his phone away?

President Trump weighed in on the far-right rally held Saturday in Boston, describing "anti-police agitators" and complimenting the police.

Boston police said they had a tight security plan in place to ensure the violence that roiled Charlottesville, Va., last weekend did not take place in their city.

The large gathering ended as scheduled by 2 p.m. local time without any major incidents.

And switching subjects for a third time, we have to talk about again how he talks about the “FAKE NEWS!!!!” media like it’s a bodily function. You know Obama would have done the presidential thing and congratulated the Boston protestors for a job well done. But instead Trump tweets about FAKE NEWS like he’s a parrot. Speaking of which… we might bring out our old friend Trumpy! Hyperbole much, Trump?

President Trump tweeted that he was headed back to Washington following a 17-day trip that the White House described as a "working vacation."

The president's mood appeared foul Sunday evening, as he assured the public that he had been "working hard" from his golf club in New Jersey.

Trump also suggested that he'd been indulging his well-documented cable television habit during his time away, writing that the coverage he'd watched consisted of "some of the worst and most dishonest Fake News reporting I have ever seen!"

Mar-A-Lago
[br]

So Donald Trump’s mega mansion in Florida – you know it as Mar-A-Lago, is losing a lot of business lately. Gee, I wonder why? Is it because of what Trump said about Virginia? That is definitely not the way to address a disaster like that. But of course Trump acts compulsively without thinking of the consequences it could have, and he’s the fucking president! Who had yet to sever ties with his business, which he should have. But nope. Instead charities are abandoning ship left and right. Like for instance…

A Florida charity for children announced Tuesday that it was canceling plans to hold a fundraiser luncheon at President Trump's Mar-a-Lago Club next winter adding to an exodus of its high-paying charity clients in the days after his comments about violent protests in Charlottesville.

The Unicorn Children's Foundation, based in Boca Raton, said it would move a planned Fashion Show Luncheon to another venue, but did not say which one. The group explained its decision with a statement saying We are not a political organization and do not condone hatred or bullying on any level.

Due to the political turbulence associated with this choice of venue it would be a disservice to our supporters and our children to hold our event at Mar-a-Lago, said Sharon Alexander, the group's chief executive, in the statement. We prefer the conversations to be centered off the venue and instead focused on how we can help kids with special needs excel in their communities.

Well they’re not the first charity to abandon ship. There’s way more where that came from, in fact the number of charities abandoning ship is growing quite large. Don’t worry, they’ll get some right wing charities like the Wounded Warrior Project to play along!

And then there were two.

Or maybe four, depending on what happens when a couple of boards meet this week.

Today, the Palm Beach Zoo & Conservation Society and MorseLife both announced a change of venue for their annual Palm Beach fundraisers, from the Mar-a-Lago Club to – well, not the Mar-a-Lago Club. That brings to 19 the number of charities that have decided to leave Mar-a-Lago in recent months, many in the past week.

The defections leave only the Palm Beach Police Foundation’s Policeman’s Ball and the Achilles Freedom Team of Wounded Vets “Spirit of America” holiday gala as remaining at the presidential retreat.

Oh not the Palm Beach Zoo! I mean at least Sea World is still available am I right about that? Shit, even a charity hosted by a Trump RELATIVE is pulling out of Mar-A-Lago!

A day after reiterating its intent to hold its 2018 fundraising event at President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago Club, Big Dog Ranch Rescue did an about face and pulled its luncheon from the Palm Beach club. Instead, the organization will hold its event at a new facility in Loxahatchee Groves.

The move follows the decision by eight other charities to bail on Mar-a-Lago in the wake of of Trump’s controversial statements following last weekend’s neo-Nazi and white supremacist rallies in Virginia. Big Dog Ranch’s move, though, is surprising given that Trump’s daughter-in-law, Lara Trump, is a co-chair.

Holy crap! The list just keeps growing! For those of you keeping score at home, that’s 4 stories now of people who are leaving Mar-A-Lago because of what Trump said! It’s up to 14 now!

Corporate fallout over President Donald Trump's comments on the violence that erupted in Charlottesville, Virgina continues as two more charities announced this weekend they would be canceling gala fundraisers at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach, Florida.

"The Preservation Foundation of Palm Beach is a nonprofit dedicated to protecting and celebrating the unique architectural and cultural heritage of Palm Beach," the group wrote in a Facebook post on Saturday explaining its decision to withdraw. "Given the current environment surrounding Mar-a-Lago, we have made the decision to move our annual dinner dance."

Now it’s up to 16!

In all, 16 charities have now canceled events at Mar-a-Lago since last Tuesday, when President Trump said there were “fine people” among the people who came to Charlottesville to protest the planned removal of a statue of Confederate general Robert E. Lee. That crowd also included neo-Nazis and white supremacists, including one man now charged with murder for running down counterprotesters with his car.

And at the last time before we finished this week’s Top 10 – it’s now up to 21! Blackjack! Even Susan G. Komen doesn’t want anything to do with Trump, and they associate themselves with the NFL! An organization that protects criminals like Ray Lewis!

The list keeps growing.

The Unicorn Children’s Foundation announced today it was moving a planned fashion show luncheon from President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach.

That brings to 21 the number of charities that have decided to leave Mar-a-Lago in recent months, many in the past week. Nineteen of those organizations held events there during the last social season.

OK now might be the time to abandon ship!

[div style="padding: 20px; background-color: #ffffff; border-radius: 10px; box-shadow: 0px 2px 4px 1px #aaa;"][div style="font-family: arial, helvetica; font-weight: bold; border-bottom: 1px dotted #999; padding-bottom: 8px;"]
Holy Shit
[br]

Yes, religious fundamentalists are dominating the news in our new segment, Holy Shit. But this week, Holy Shit is only going to focus on one aspect of the holy part of it – Liberty University, and specifically the current president of the university – son of the university’s founder and guy who has no remarks about Tinky Winky’s sexual orientation, Jerry Falwell Jr.

Since the early days of the 2016 presidential campaign, Liberty University President Jerry Falwell Jr. has been a staunch supporter of Donald Trump. For some students and alumni of the Evangelical Christian School in Lynchburg, Va., Liberty’s perceived alignment with the president has been a source of “shame and anger,” a group of graduates wrote last week.

Last week, many reached their breaking point. After Trump’s equivocation about neo-Nazi groups following the violence in Charlottesville, Falwell tweeted that he was “so proud” of Trump for his “bold truthful” statement on the tragedy.

Falwell appeared on “Fox & Friends” Monday morning to reiterate his support for the president.

“President Donald Trump does not have a racist bone in his body. I know him well,” Falwell said. “He loves all people. He’s worked so hard to help minorities in the inner cities… He’s doing all the right things to help the people that are in need, the minorities.”

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!!!! As if Donald Trump suddenly cares about minorities! Got any other good zingers, Jerry? But… here’s where things get weird! As you know, they have been known to do under Trump! But this might be one of my favorite stories of the week. Not only is he not giving up defending Trump, he’s doubling down!

Jerry Falwell Jr., a leading evangelical Christian leader and president of Liberty University, defended President Donald Trump and his response to last weekend’s deadly rally of neo-Nazis and white supremacists in Charlottesville, Virginia.

“He doesn’t say what’s politically correct, he says what’s in his heart, what he believes in his heart and sometimes that gets him into trouble,” Falwell told Martha Raddatz on ABC’s “This Week” Sunday. “He does not have a racist bone in his body — I know him well.”

Falwell also praised Trump, whom he had endorsed in his presidential campaign, as “something we haven’t had in national leadership in a long time: He’s substance over form.”

Wait, wait wait wait wait wait wait wait. Wait. Wait. Trump doesn’t have a racist bone in his body? Are you fucking kidding me? Have you been paying attention to the same clusterfuck we’ve been following for the last two years? Trump is enabling the racists and sexists! Jerry has apparently pissed off Liberty University graduates something fierce.

More than 200 Liberty University alumni have signed on to a Facebook group proposing they return their degrees in protest of University President Jerry Falwell Jr.'s unwavering support of President Donald Trump.

The movement follows a tweet by Falwell that applauded Trump's response to the recent events in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Heather Heyer, 32, was killed Aug. 12 in Charlottesville when a car plowed into a crowd of counterprotesters gathered to oppose a "Unite the Right" rally of white nationalist and other right-wing groups. Nineteen others were injured in the incident. Trump blamed "both sides" for the violence.

The alumni Facebook group organized for the movement has grown to 202 members and counting since it was launched Thursday. The members of the group are asked to mail their diplomas to Falwell's office on the same day, Sept. 5.

Yeah so Jerry Falwell Jr is apparently pissing off Liberty University graduates because of his support for Trump’s reckless policies. How more batshit crazy can the Christian right get? Well there’s Liberty University and then there’s the Steve-O of the Christian right, Paula White! And how is Jim Bakker still a thing? I thought we already asked that question!

Right-wing pastor Jim Bakker interviewed televangelist Paula White, one of President Trump’s key spiritual advisers, on his television program today, where she declared that opposition to the president is opposition to God and explicitly praised Trump for not sounding or acting presidential.

“Thank goodness he’s not a polished politician. In other words: whether people like him or not, he’s been raised up by God because God says that He raises up and places all people in places of authority. It is God that raises up a king, it is God that sets one down and so when you fight against the plan of God, you’re fighting against the hand of God.”

Later in the show, when Paula White declared that Christians “were sent here to take over,” the host Jim Bakker excitedly agreed, asserting “that’s why we have the president we have!”

White then proceeded to sell “resurrection seeds” for $1144 - a price she claims was personally set by God.

At: http://www.nova-magazine.net/trump-spiritual-advisor-paula-white-when-you-oppose-president-trump-you-are-fighting-against-the-hand-of-god-video/

To quote Mayor Quimby from the Simpsons – “Are these morons getting louder or just dumber?”. The answer to that question is dumber! Well, to sum up this week in “Holy Shit”, there’s Kentucky governor Matt Bevin. How come Kentucky always elects the dumbest people known to man? They’re the state that gave us Rand Paul and Mitch McConnell for crying out loud! Well, Matt Bevin may be the stupidest of all, because he thinks that Charlottesville happened because – wait for it – Jesus!

In a radio interview on Tuesday, Kentucky Gov. Matt Bevin linked the recent violence at a white nationalist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, to the removal of Bible study from public schools, saying that the removal of “things that are biblically taught from society” is correlated with “the kind of mayhem” we saw in Charlottesville.

Bevin spoke on Tuesday with West Virginia radio host Tom Roten about the Charlottesville violence and efforts to remove Confederate monuments from public lands, which Bevin said was a “sanitization of history” that he “absolutely” disagrees with.

Bevin said that removing these monuments sets “a dangerous precedent” that we’re “not allowed to talk about certain elements of our history” and amounts to “revisionist history.”

He then appeared to allude to efforts to remove statues of Roger Taney, the Supreme Court justice who wrote the Dred Scott decision, as part of a slippery slope set by removing Confederate memorials. (Although Bevin did not name names, a statue of Taney was recently removed in Annapolis, Maryland.)

And Paula White isn't just exhibit A in batshit crazy Trump Bible thumpers. I give you Rick Joyner, who is also convinced of this:

Somehow, despite his vulgarity, disrespect towards women, bragging about sexual assault, and nearly everything else about him, most conservative Christians still support Donald Trump and believe God sent him to “save America,” and that God will protect the president.

That’s exactly what far-right pastor Rick Joyner said in a video he posted on Facebook last Thursday.

He dismissed recent news that Robert Mueller had issued grand jury subpoenas for Trump’s financial records. And he had a warning: God will take out anyone who tries to take down President Trump.

“God's going to transform our news media; Trump isn’t going anywhere,” he said. “Watch everybody fall who goes after him. Watch it.”

“It’s because he has a divine purpose,” Joyner added. “God put him there, and only God is going to be able to take him out. You watch what happens to everyone else who tries. Watch what happens to our Congress, watch what happens to Republicans who are obstructionist and devious in their methods too - who claim to be one thing and turn out to be the opposite. Watch what God does in these days.”

That’s it for this week in:

[div style="padding: 20px; background-color: #ffffff; border-radius: 10px; box-shadow: 0px 2px 4px 1px #aaa;"][div style="font-family: arial, helvetica; font-weight: bold; border-bottom: 1px dotted #999; padding-bottom: 8px;"]
Alex Jones
[br]

Man on the street interviews have existed as long as TV has existed. Anyone remember back in the 90s when Jay Leno first pioneered a completely different kind of man on the street interview? It was called “Jaywalking” and it focused on people who knew nothing about the given subject. Now all the talk shows do it, and one of the best is Jimmy Kimmel’s “Lie Witness News”. Well, ultra far right conspiracy theorist and after model in a Bronzer informecial… hey, this was me *BEFORE* bronzer!, Alex Jones was in ultra liberal Seattle last week, and he attempted to do this exact style of MOTS interview, and well, failed spectacularly.

Alex Jones, the controversial conspiracy monger behind the website Infowars, has been in Seattle the last couple of days, roaming downtown, ranting in front of a camera and confronting hecklers.

Jones has been dismissed and denounced as a lunatic fringe element for his spreading of paranoiac conspiracy theories, such as the false claim that the 2012 massacre of 26 children and educators at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut, was a hoax aimed at advancing a gun-control agenda. But since last year, Jones has been granted added prominence by President Donald Trump, who has praised Jones and tweeted links to Infowars articles.

On Friday morning, Jones had a Periscope video feed going as he denounced liberal Seattleites as robots and slaves and said the CIA was threatening to kill Trump. Jones was greeted with profane gestures and comments by some passers-by. He responded by chasing them down and demanding they talk on camera. A bicyclist refused, snapping a photo of Jones and saying he didn’t speak with racists.

Let’s roll the tape on this:

So why was Alex in Seattle? Well, it could have something to do with the fact that the alt right is trying to troll the city over its’ statue of former Russian dictator V.I. Lenin.

Far-right “Pizzagate” conspiracy theorist Jack Posobiec tweeted videos and photos Wednesday showing him leading a group of people protesting a Vladimir Lenin statue in Seattle.

Video shows Posobiec leading the group in a chant of “tear it down, tear it down” as the protesters — wearing “Make America Great Again” caps and holding placards bearing phrases like “Lenin is Hitler” and “Alt Left Hate” — marched around the statue.

It appears that about 7 people, including Posobiec, attended the demonstration.

Well, getting back to Alex Jones for a minute – so if you saw the right wing blogs you’d see the coffee thrower painted as a “libtard attacking Alex Jones”. But the actual story on the other hand is way more incriminating then you would think:

The “Infowars” host marched through the streets of the Washington city while streaming on Periscope as pedestrians launched salvo at him.

Jones stopped to speak with one well-wisher about four minutes into the nearly 15-minute tirade when someone yelled, “You’re trash.”

That set the reputed Sandy Hook Massacre denier off, and he charged at the man, who was carrying a thermos of coffee.

“Hey, hey come tell me on camera,” Jones shouted. Come here, coward. Right here on camera … tell people intellectually who you are.”

Jones was splashed with the brewed beverage while arguing with a man in Seattle — and the caffeinated incident was captured on video.

“Intellectually who I am? I’m your mama,” he responded.

Jones turned to his cameraman to say the man was a “slave to the system.”

To which Alex responded with his usual message of “violent leftists” :

Yeah BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! So my favorite part of this whole thing is that even the Seattle police got in on trolling Alex Jones. Because you know when blowhards like Jones get taken down a peg or two it’s always fun to watch!

Whatever the opposite of a red carpet is, that’s what the people of Seattle rolled out for Infowars’ resident “performance artist” Alex Jones when he took to the streets of their city to opportunistically pretend to care about the victims of last week’s terror attacks in Spain to make some sort of ill-conceived, poorly argued Islamophobic point. There’s some debate over whether Jones hired actors to provoke him on the street in order to advance the “we’re the real victims here” narrative being pushed by the right, but if he did, wow did he make himself look like an idiot in the process.

The first two minutes of the video are practically unbearable as Jones rants about how the wording of USA Today headlines are personally attacking him, but things pick up 2 minutes and 20 seconds in, as this self-proclaimed alpha male is so bothered by a clearly bemused young man who flips him off on the street that he chases him for half a block. ”You’re an intellectual dumbass who watches mainstream media,” Jones yells as the guy walks away, laughing. Next up is a man since identified as Jake Stratton, a local wrestler and heavy metal singer, who throws “hot coffee” on Jones in what one could definitely argue is a staged attack.

Oh and by the way in case you want to know what Alex does in his free time, he recently discovered the fidget spinner:

And here’s an isolate audio of the music he was listening to:

[div style="padding: 20px; background-color: #ffffff; border-radius: 10px; box-shadow: 0px 2px 4px 1px #aaa;"][div style="font-family: arial, helvetica; font-weight: bold; border-bottom: 1px dotted #999; padding-bottom: 8px;"]
People Are Dumb
[br]

Hit it!

So of course you know by now thanks to Depeche Mode’s famous song, people are people, and people are dumb. So who’s stupid this week? Well, this week it’s mostly all Florida. Because of course it is, and you can always count on Florida to turn the crazy up way past 11. One of my favorite categories of stories like this is fast food rage. I love a good fast food rage story and here’s one out of Delray Beach:

DELRAY BEACH, Fla. - A Delray Beach man wasn't happy that a nearby McDonald's didn't have any ice cream, so he pulled out a replica AR-15 rifle while he waited in the drive-thru line, police said.

Jerry Henry was arrested Monday after the incident at the McDonald's on Linton Boulevard.

Delray Beach police said Henry was a passenger in a car at the drive-thru when the driver, who was ordering food at the intercom, became upset with the employee who was taking his order.

According to a probable cause affidavit, the driver, identified as Michael Delhomme, was upset because the ice cream machine wasn't working.

Why does this story remind me of this guy?

Somehow I don’t think I’ll be going to Whammy Burger any time soon. But while on the subject of fast food rage, we’re going to tell you about a crazy story from my neck of the woods, Hollywood, California where these two loaded drunk women went CRAZY and destroyed an Uber driver’s car among other atrocities committed at the In N Out on Sunset Blvd:

A rowdy pair of Uber riders reportedly damaged their driver’s car during a late-night In-N-Out run in Hollywood on Saturday night. And as CBS Los Angeles shows, much of it was caught on camera.

The incident happened well into the evening on August 19, when two women requested a ride from Uber. Driver Travis Cole answered the request and picked up the two women outside of a Hollywood bar. The pair seemed intoxicated, Cole tells CBS, and things pretty quickly fell apart. At least one of the women allegedly threw up in the backseat, prompting Cole to force the whole car out at the In-N-Out in Hollywood along Sunset Boulevard.

From there, the duo got into a number of different altercations with bystanders and onlookers, and even took to Cole’s car, smashing his windshield with the heel of a shoe and causing plenty of other damage — in addition to that backseat vomit. Police arrived on the scene, arresting the women and posting bail of $20,000 apiece.

We won’t show the video here, but it is CRAZY. So what’s next for the never ending shortage of stupid people? Well we’re sticking with the Sunshine State, and what about drugs? You know, maybe don’t bring drugs into the classroom? We can all agree on that right?

A sheriff’s deputy arrested a woman outside a Florida middle school after he allegedly spotted her chopping up and using cocaine while waiting in the parent pick-up line Tuesday.

The Lee County deputy said he was patrolling Lexington Middle School just before 4 p.m. when he saw 39-year-old Christina Hester snort the drug off the screen of her iPhone with a straw, according to WFTX.

The deputy took Hester to his office where he arrested her. A field test later determined that half a gram of white powder found in her purse was cocaine, according to WFT

And then next out of Florida – upskirt photos! Yeah guys, maybe don’t do this! Just don’t.

Authorities say a Florida man took photographs up a woman’s skirt while at a popular coffee establishment.

Justin Buck, 48, of Tampa, allegedly took several photographs up a 21-year-old woman’s skirt at a Starbucks in Palm Harbor on Monday, according to WFTS.

Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the coffee shop after a Starbucks employee reported seeing Buck take the photographs under a table.

No, Tony Stark isn’t Florida Man. What next? How about the Illuminati right? Well, maybe you don’t use this as an excuse for why you stole some shit:

A Florida man arrested yesterday for stealing items from a Kmart told police that the “Illuminati made me do it.”

Brian Isola, 30, was busted Thursday morning for allegedly trying to boost items worth $320 from a store in Vero Beach.

After reportedly being caught in the act by a patrolman, Isola initially blamed his travails on the Illuminati, the shadowy international organization that runs the world in conjunction with the Rockefellers, George Soros, the Bilderberg Group, and Jay-Z.

What’s next? How about one of my favorite categories – stupid people and police officers? There’s this story out of Texas where a woman assaulted a police officer and said he was “hot”:

AUSTIN -- A woman who was arrested Friday on outstanding warrants picked up another charge for allegedly grabbing the genitals of a University of Texas police officer and calling him ‘hot.’.

According to the affidavit, Bonnie Fay Terraciano, 43, was loitering outside of a CVS drug store at 2200 Guadalupe St. when the officer approached her at about 11 p.m. and asked about an open can of beer sitting next to her.

When a background search revealed Terraciano had outstanding warrants for public intoxication and interfering with a roadway, she was arrested and placed in the back seat of the officer’s vehicle, an arrest report says. But the woman fell over and landed on the ground. As the officer assisted her back into the vehicle, the affidavit says Terraciano grabbed him and twisted.

Finally this week – racism! Yes the stupidest among us are also the most racist! And none is more evident than this guy out of Florida. Because hey it’s Florida!

A faded pillow with the flag's print sits on the porch chair of his quirky urban farm in south Tampa, an area known more for craft beers and gluten free brunch. He's got a sticker with the red and blue battle flag and the words "I ain't coming down" affixed near the shopworn light switch in the building that holds his farm's free-range eggs. And in his barn, there's a cloth flag near a sign that says, "COW COUNTRY watch your step."

But the flag he's proudest of sits about 17 miles away, at the corners of Interstates 4 and 75.

It's the centerpiece of the Confederate Memorial Park, a small sliver of privately owned land.

World Tour Destination #11: Czech Republic
[br]

Part of our mission statement here at the Top 10 Conservative Idiots is to show you that conservative idiocy isn’t just a problem with America. No, it’s a global problem that is stemming far and wide, and it’s not just America where conservative idiots ruin everything they touch. And if you’re thinking of moving out of the United States just because Donald J. Trump is our current president and our nation is turning to shit, you should know what it is you’re getting into should you decide that you want to leave the country. So if you want a recap of where we’ve been so far, we’re just about done touring all of Europe. The last two weeks we visited Scandinavia, where Norway is a little bit racist, and in Sweden – just about anything goes, including the nation’s cyber security laws, and The Netherlands has a serious case of food poisoning. Here’s the tour schedule:

Czech Republic

Folks this is it! It’s our final stop in Europe. Then it’s on to Africa, South America, North America, and then to Asia. So we come to the last stop in Europe for the first leg of our World Tour 2017. The Czech Republic. The Czech Republic is one of the oldest countries in Europe and the home to tons of historical sites and wonders, such as the Prague Astronomical, a 600 year old mechanical clock that has kept time continuously for the last 600 years. Dude, I cant even keep time for 5 minutes! It’s also the home to tons of ancient wonders and castles, and very creepy gothic-looking churches and buildings. You could easily do some low budget horror movies and set them in Prague, and you wouldn’t have to pay set maintenance fees. The Czech Republic is also the home of a very unique sport – kickball. And no I’m not talking about the kind of kickball they made you play in gym class where it’s basically baseball with a giant rubber ball that could kill you. No, it’s more a combination of soccer, volleyball, and tennis – the net is low, and so is the kicking! So what else is the Czech Republic the home of? Why they’re the home of some of the strictest gun control in the EU!

The European Union’s plans to restrict gun ownership are nonsensical, undermine people’s trust in the EU and have a negative impact on the internal security of the Czech Republic, Interior Minister Milan Chovanec said.

The Czech Republic filed a lawsuit against a new European Union directive tightening gun ownership, aimed at limiting access to semi-automatic and other weapons after deadly Islamist attacks in Western Europe.

The European Parliament and EU interior ministers gave a final nod to the changes earlier this year despite the Czech Republic, Luxembourg and Poland voicing opposition.

The Czech Interior Ministry said the directive was too harsh, affecting, for example, thousands of hunters – a popular activity with a long tradition in the central European country.

Yes that joke never gets old! So what else is the country formerly known as Czechoslovakia? Remember that gigantic data breach in Sweden that we talked about a couple of weeks ago? Well the Czech Republic was one of the biggest victims of it!

HELSINKI -- A security leak in Sweden in 2015 is causing reverberations in the Scandinavian country two years later with Prime Minister Stefan Lofven saying it was "a disaster," exposing the nation to harm.

The breach, first reported on last week, provided confidential information abroad allowing IT workers, including in the Czech Republic, to access Swedish government and police databases when the Transport Agency decided to outsource some of its services. Although officials gave little detail about the leak, it made the country vulnerable to possible further cyberattacks.

"What happened was an accident... it was a complete failure and is very serious," Lofven told reporters Monday. "It was in breach of the law and exposed Sweden and Swedish citizens to harm."

But some good news is that the Ukraine continues to get fucked over by Putin a lot in his quest for global domination, but at least the Czech Republic will help them out…. ?

Ukraine can continue to rely on the support of the Czech Republic in defending its territorial integrity and deepening its relations with the EU, Ukrainian Ambassador to the Czech Republic Yevhen Perebyinis has said.

The diplomat wrote this on Facebook after a working meeting with Czech Deputy Foreign Minister Jakub Durr.

"I had an extremely friendly and fruitful working meeting with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic Jakub Durr. We managed to discuss a number of urgent and important issues for both sides, from the priorities of EU-Ukraine cooperation to the issues of confronting Russian aggression in Ukraine, Russia's violation of human rights, including in the occupied Crimea, and sanctions," Perebyinis wrote.

I like that one! Now let’s talk about their neighbors Slovakia for a minute. You know neo Nazis are on everyone’s minds at the moment because of the clusterfuck that happened in Charlottesville. But if there’s one place that Nazis are actually taking over, it’s in Slovakia!

BANSKA BYSTRICA, Slovakia – Nestled in a valley at the foot of the Low Tatras mountains, this city of 80,000 in central Slovakia is more than just the home of far-right firebrand Marian Kotleba.

In 1940 around 10 percent of the population of Banksa Bystrica was Jewish. Most of the community worshipped on the southwest edge of town at a synagogue that backed onto a small creek, which provided water for the mikveh (ritual bath).

But by 1948 Banska Bystrica’s remaining Jews formed less than 1 percent of the town’s population. As more and more of the community left for Israel in the ensuing years, the local synagogue fell into disrepair, and was used as a warehouse until it was destroyed in 1983.

Needs a few more NEINs! So what about Slovakia makes this country so appealing to the extreme far right? Well despite that they’ve been BANNED from the country, they keep going after it, kind of like how Charlie Brown attempts to kick the football, only to have Lucy pull it away!

Ruzomberok, Slovakia - When 68-year-old Jan Bencik's son created a Facebook account for him after he retired four years ago, he saw little reason to log in, save for boredom. Just over a year ago, however, he discovered a way to make social media useful: tracking and doxing Slovakia's far right.

On a frigid afternoon in March, the retiree steps into a local pizza parlour and shakes the snow off his winter coat. He takes a seat on a sofa in the corner of the room, removes his laptop from its leather case and flips it open.

The former phone technician and publishing house employee opens a folder on his desktop, pulling up screenshots of social media posts, most of them since deleted, by far-right social media users.

The Verdict & Scorecard

This was one of the hardest countries to find any political dirt on because there really isn’t much out there – this is about as close to a liberal utopia as you can get. But be sure to visit before Putin does!

Next Week

Next week we’re finally leaving Europe and heading way down south to the land of the safari and wild outdoor adventures, South Africa! And also apartheid.

And Now This:

Ladies and gentlemen, I’ve been waiting quite a while to have this next musical guest on, and I saw them live last week! Their Unity tour with New Politics is over, but man it was an awesome show! They have an amazing new album out called “Mosaic”. Playing their song called “Perfect Mistake”, give it up for 311!

Yeah how about that?

See you next week!

Neo Nazis In California Cancel Planned Book Burning Because Fear Of Liberals

As news of the event spread across California liberal groups on Facebook, people gathered to troll the event page. Citing President Donald Trump’s use of the term alt-left to allege a violent uprising was happening among liberals that is akin to Nazis, Cadavid’s group canceled the event and deleted their page.

“I do not want to go into a long explanation at this time,” Cadavid began. “The event was in no way intended to eradicate these publications, more a symbolic way of showing that we do not approve of what is being taught to our children and maybe that should have been made clearer, I do not endorse the censorship of literature or personal political views in any way.”

Hey Nazis:

1. You don't give a rat's ass about children, so stop pretending like you care.
2. If we held a book burning where we burned O'Reilly, Hannity, Limbaugh, Coulter, Savage, etc books, you guys would be *FLYING* off the rails and insisting we all be locked up.

So shut the fuck up and get the fuck out.

Alt Right Protest In Seattle Draws Just 7 Protestors

Far-right “Pizzagate” conspiracy theorist Jack Posobiec tweeted videos and photos Wednesday showing him leading a group of people protesting a Vladimir Lenin statue in Seattle.

Video shows Posobiec leading the group in a chant of “tear it down, tear it down” as the protesters — wearing “Make America Great Again” caps and holding placards bearing phrases like “Lenin is Hitler” and “Alt Left Hate” — marched around the statue.

It appears that about 7 people, including Posobiec, attended the demonstration.

Pro-Trump Rally Set to Clash with Juggalo March in Washington, D.C. in September

“The Mother of All Rallies” is coming to Washington, D.C. on September 16th. The Pro-Trump group bills itself as “The Woodstock of American Rallies” on its official website, with the aim of sending “a message to congress the media and the world” that “we stand united to defend American culture & values.” Over 7,000 people follow the rally’s Facebook page. It should be quite the gathering.

There’s only one problem: there will already be another kind of gathering in town.

Also scheduled to storm the National Mall that day is the Juggalo March, a collective of I.C.P. fans seeking equal treatment, which we first reported on here last summer. The Juggalo March “aims to bring national attention to the ongoing discrimination and profiling that Juggalos continue to be subjected to following the group’s inclusion in the U.S. Department of Justice’s 2011 National Gang Task Force report.” Which is a ludicrous classification, to be sure: while we may enjoy making fun of ICP and their fans, they’re not inherently bad people.

We’ve previously gone on record as saying the Juggalo March might be in poor taste; millions of Americans have been fighting for the privilege of being treated equally for centuries, based on circumstances entirely out of their control, and it seems insensitive and tone deaf in this time of civil rights upheaval for Juggalos to claim the same level of unfair treatment based on a lifestyle they’ve chosen for themselves… and one based around fandom of a band, no less.

Oooh.... ooh... who had Juggalos V. Nazis? This should be good!

Top 10 Conservative Idiots #3-10: How I Learned To Stop Worrying And Love Hitler Edition

Top 10 Conservative Idiots #3-10: Dr. Strangeflub (Or: How I Learned To Stop Worrying And Love Hitler) Edition

Welcome back to the Top 10 Conservative Idiots! Switch to the Top 10 Conservative Idiots now and save 50% off the leading Top 10 providers! We are back everybody! This is going to be an unusually long edition so bare with us please! But first this is one of those tweets where someone says something so jaw-dropping, shockingly stupid that you can't help but make fun it:

So that happened. Hey Tim, if we evolved comedy, how come there are still lame comedians around? Thank you! I'm not including myself of course! Can we start by talking about music? I mean how did we miss the annual Gathering Of The Juggalos? This year the event was held in Oklahoma City. And the residents of Oklahoma City weren't having any of it. And just like everything involving the Insane Clown Posse, it was a total clusterfuck. This year included such activities as a wine mixer. Really. What kind of wine do you sip while listening to a song about shoving things up one's ass? I'd personally go with a fine Merlot! Or maybe a Pinot. Just to get you in the mood, you know! So what happened this year? Well there were 8 arrests and 11 paramedics calls! That's the most ever for a music festival. Like I said, if you attend the Gathering Of The Juggalos, you'll most likely get stabbed. I'm not saying you'll actually get stabbed, I'm implying that you will get stabbed at some point. So if you ever go or are thinking of going, just be prepared! But people were being arrested for numerous things you'd expect like drug possessions, alcohol intoxication, and my personal favorite - a large number of illegal fireworks! There were also rumors of a Juggalo flashing a cop his butthole. I want that one to be true, but it's fake news, unfortunately. Yeah so maybe you won't get stabbed but if you go to the Gathering Of The Juggalos, But you might walk away with fewer limbs, and a severe case of sun poisoning. Maybe they could get together with the organizers of the Fyre Festival. Ha, I kid, I kid. OK enough of the intro. We got a lot of conservative idiocy to cover this week. But first John Oliver is back and he gets the great Weird Al to help him serenade North Korea into *NOT* blowing us up:

Holy fucking hell. How do you make sense of what happened this weekend? You don’t. And we most certainly wont in any way, shape or form make fun of the lives lost in this clusterfuck. But we can make fun of it can’t we? The Alt Right is going to take up the first 2 slots this week. In the first slot we’re going to talk about what led up to the events in Charlottesville on Saturday. In the second slot is the main event that took place Saturday in Charlottesville. Taking slots 3 and 4 is of course President Trump. In the third slot is the fact that Trump gave a speech addressing the clusterfuck And that he refused to call out the white supremacists by name. In the number 4 slot is also Donald Trump (4). So we’re going to tell you about the President’s Council On Manufacturing and how that was affected by Trump’s comments, and well, it’s not good. In the number 5 slot is going to be the return of our new segment “Holy Shit”. Because the religious right is going all out in their quest to support an increasingly inevitable war against North Korea, among other atrocities this week. Taking the sixth seed it’s Google Vs. The Alt Right (6). So the Alt Right is making Google their asshole this week in the wake of the firing of programmer James Damore, and wait until you see what they have in store! In the number 7 slot is a new installment of “This Fucking Guy”. And this week’s “This Fucking Guy” is a member of the Trump administration who needs some very close watch – “Dr.” Sebastian Gorka. All I know is never trust a guy with a Ph.D who insists that you call him “doctor”. Because that’s an insult to actual people in the medical profession who are, you know, real doctors. At number 8 – we’ve got another installment of “How Is This Still A Thing”, and we’re going to ask – Blackwater: How Is This Still A Thing? In the number 9 (NEIN!!!!) slot we’ve got another installment of our always popular segment “People Are Dumb”, because well, there’s a lot of dumb people out there. And my motto is “embrace the dumb”. And we will end this week with the next leg of our World Tour 2017. This time around we’re going to the home of legalized marijuana and prostitution – The Netherlands! We’re just about done with Europe – we’ve got one final stop to make in Eastern Europe before we head to Africa. Plus we have some live music from a little band called… Blink 182. YAY!!!! Wait, they’re one of the biggest bands in the world! What are they doing on this crappy show? Well, I met Travis Barker at his Musink Festival in Costa Mesa, told him about the show, and he brought his friends Mark and Matt along with him! Enjoy! And as always don’t forget the key!

The Alt Right
[br]

Just… wow. How did we get here? Let’s do one of those things from the movies and retrace our steps as to how we got to this point. So the Gathering Of The Deplorables commenced on Saturday but not before the alt right did some pre-partying on Friday. Or as I like to call it "Dr. Strangeflub (Or How I Learned To Stop Worrying And Love Hitler)". Thank you! And in this version, Slim Pickens rides the bomb to hell! Because you know you got to do some pre-rally racism to stir up the crowd, right? This is a really fucked up opening act for a really fucked up festival. Let’s show the tweet first!

Worst headlining festival ever by the way! For the sake of argument let’s call this “The Gathering Of The Deplorables”. Now it’s a lot like the Insane Clown Posse’s annual Gathering Of The Juggalos. Let’s explore the similarities between those groups. Both groups are mostly consistent of young, socially awkward people who are leaving the confines of their keyboards and getting out into the real world. Both groups are people who the members would never in real life acknowledge that they are a part of. Unless they want people to make fun of them, in which case they’re sociopaths. At both events, the only sponsors that they could find are Z grade products, like Faygo Cola, because a more popular vendor like Pepsi would never loan their name to such an atrocity. At both events, the attendees can pick out the posers pretty quickly. And at both events, you’ll most likely get stabbed. So what happened?

(CNN)Alt-right activists held torches and marched late Friday through the University of Virginia campus in Charlottesville.

Chanting "blood and soil" and "one people, one nation, end immigration," the group rallied around a statue of Thomas Jefferson before they clashed with counterprotesters, CNN affiliate WWBT reported.

The march came hours before a Saturday rally that police anticipate will attract as many as 2,000 to 6,000 people, in an event that could be the "largest hate-gathering of it's kind in decades in the United States," as described by the Southern Poverty Law Center.

Before the group left the university's grounds when police arrived and ruled it unlawful assembly, outraged city and UVA officials condemned Friday's gathering.

OK ok ok… let’s get one thing straight here. They didn’t hold actual torches. They held TIKI brand torches. I mean if you’re really going to intimidate someone, use a Citronella torch! Don’t use TIKI brand crap! I don’t need endorsement money, I’m just a fan! But what happened after the pre-party was ruled unlawful assembly? There was this.

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (AP) — A car plowed into a crowd of people peacefully protesting a white nationalist rally Saturday in a Virginia college town, killing one person, hurting at least two dozen more and ratcheting up tension in an increasingly violent confrontation.

A helicopter crash that killed the pilot and a passenger later in the afternoon outside Charlottesville also was linked to the rally by State Police, though officials did not elaborate on how the crash was connected.

Yeah holy fuck! So this little gathering that Richard Spencer came up with is responsible for killing at least 3 people. It’s insane. I mean when even the Germans think you’ve fucked up, well, you’ve fucked up.

BERLIN: German Chancellor Angela Merkel on Monday slammed as "disgusting" the role of white supremacists in a violent protest in Virginia and an "evil attack" against counter-demonstrators that left one woman dead, her spokesman said.

In sharply worded remarks, Merkel's spokesman Steffen Seibert expressed shock at the weekend rally by Ku Klux Klan members and other white nationalists in Charlottesvillesupremacists.

"The scenes at the right-wing extremist march were absolutely repulsive - naked racism, anti-Semitism and hate in their most evil form were on display," he told reporters.

"Such images and chants are disgusting wherever they may be and they are diametrically opposed to the political goals of the chancellor and the entire German government."

This whole event needs a lot more neins! I mean come on let’s show some of the winners at this event. Like this guy:

Dude, you’re not threatening anybody you’re just a creep in a MAGA hat! And by the way let’s talk about the torches for a minute. So these guys showed up at a rally with torches. Not just any torches, TIKI brand torches!

You can seriously buy these at your local Home Depot for the low price of $4! Even the TIKI brand said they didn’t want to be a part of this!

Last weekend in Charlottesville, hundreds of people espousing white nationalist, neo-Nazi and Klux Klux Klan ideology marched in the dark through the University of Virginia campus spewing racist taunts while illuminating the night with tiki torches in hand.

Until then, the fire-tipped poles were mostly associated with backyard barbecue ambiance, kitschy Polynesian luaus and mosquito-repellent. Now, tiki torches are among the growing list of products and logos being used by white nationalists.

Corporations, in a bid to protect their brands and images, have been quick to denounce the groups. Even so, the groups using the products as well and brand logos in whatever way they want.

“TIKI Brand is not associated in any way with the events that took place in Charlottesville and are deeply saddened and disappointed,” the company wrote Saturday on its Facebook page. “We do not support their message or the use of our products in this way.”

I mean come on seriously, you bought torches? Do you know how stupid you look? It’s the equivalent of when you’re at a concert and people whip out their cell phones and turn on the flashlight instead of using a lighter? But I love what John Oliver said in regards to Charlottesville:

John Oliver has launched a typically blistering attack on US President Donald Trump over his failure to single out a group of neo-Nazis and white nationalists who staged a violent rally in Charlottesville, Virginia over the weekend.

Violent clashes between white nationalists and anti-fascist protestors broke out, and one woman died after a car drove into a group of counter-demonstrators.

People were seen carrying torches, waving Nazi flags and performing the Nazi salute at the march which took place on Friday 11 August.

Oliver opened his Last Week Tonight programme on Sunday evening by addressing the events, including Trump's poorly-received response and his refusal to denounce the white nationalists.

The Alt Right
[br]

So now we got to talk about the exact point when the shit hit the fan at the rally. Some say it was when the guy plowed his Dodge Challenger into a crowd of protestors, killing one, and injuring nearly 20 people. Or you could say it was when the police helicopter crashed just outside of Charlottesville while trying to police the area. I say it’s all of the above. Or it could be Trump’s insane press conference yesterday when he added more fuel to the fire by blaming the “alt left”.

President Donald Trump on Tuesday adamantly defended his response to the deadly white nationalist rally in Virginia at a chaotic news conference, backing again into the blame of "both sides" that put him into bipartisan hot water.

Bickering with reporters, some of whom he called "fake news," Trump defended the protest that led to the violence and contended that some of the individuals carrying torches at the white nationalist rally did not have bad intentions.

"You had many people in that group other than neo-Nazis and white nationalists and the press has treated them absolutely unfairly," Trump said at Trump Tower in New York.

Yeah Captain America is a member of the Alt Left. And you know who else And then the reaction from the right wing certainly isn’t helping things. I give you Dinesh D’Souza.

“Trump has never said — not even implied — that he wants to see legal immigration be more white,” D’Souza said on Monday’s “Fox and Friends.” On the other side of the aisle, if you think of Hitler — Hitler wasn’t even talking about immigrants. The Jews in Germany were German citizens. And so, for Hitler, the distinction was inside of Germany, between what he considered to be the superior Nordics and the inferior Jews, and so there’s simply no valid analogy here between Trump and Hitler on this racial point at all.” D’Souza went on to claim that ethnic nationalism was “a left-wing idea,” ignoring that race was a big deal in America long before the current partisan division between Democrats and Republicans even existed.

D’Souza butchering history isn’t exactly new. But hours before neo-Nazis rallied around a Confederate monument and began a violent attack on protesters, the author of a book that claimed liberals were actually responsible for the Nazis tried to whitewash a Confederate general whose family owned slaves.

Oh sure, Dinesh! Keep telling yourself that! Trump’s not as bad as Hitler! There’s lots of things you could say are not as bad as Hitler. Smelly farts are not as bad as Hitler! This cup of coffee I’m drinking is not as bad as Hitler! My Uber ride to the club was not as bad as Hitler! The management of the comedy club where we’re at right now is not as bad as Hitler! Thank you! And then there’s David Duke who *DEFINITELY* isn’t helping things!

There was a storm of negative reaction to President Trump's news conference Tuesday in which he said both the white supremacists and counter-protesters were responsible for the violence that broke out in Charlottesville, Va., Saturday.

One voice spoke out loudly in defense of the president's remarks: Former Ku Klux Klan leader David Duke.

"Thank you President Trump for your honesty & courage to tell the truth about #Charlottesville & condemn the leftist terrorists in BLM/Antifa," Duke tweeted after the news conference.

There’s far more to this thing than we thought. The aftermath of what happened is coming out very quickly. I mean you have people who are outing the racists on Twitter.

White nationalists who appeared at the deadly demonstrations in Charlottesville are being outed on social media — with at least one being fired from his job after his name and picture was posted online.

Cole White, of California, was axed from his restaurant position in Berkeley on Sunday just hours after being publicly identified by a Twitter account known as “Yes, You’re Racist.”

The page has been putting “Unite the Right” protesters on blast following their violent, hate-fueled rallies in Charlottesville, Virginia, on Friday night and Saturday.

“If you recognize any of the Nazis marching in #Charlottesville, send me their names/profiles and I’ll make them famous,” the user wrote to its more than 180,000 followers.

Yeah I’m calling bullshit on this one. How did a 20 year old hot dog employee from Berkeley get the money to fly from Berkeley to Charlottesville? I mean if you’ve got even a studio apartment in Berkeley, you’re not flying to Virginia. I checked Kayak. A flight from Oakland to Richmond, Virginia costs $529 and a 3 night hotel stay in Charlottesville would easily cost $175 a night and that’s not even including the cost of renting a car! I know when I was 20 I did *NOT* have that kind of money to travel! And how does one even get that kind of time off? That angle hasn’t even been explored yet! “Yeah sir, I’m going to Virginia to attend Unite The Right!”. So how else did the shit hit the fan? Did you know that the FBI had warnings about this for weeks?

The FBI and Department of Homeland Security in May warned of the likelihood that white supremacist groups would “continue to pose a threat of lethal violence over the next year,” months before violence erupted Saturday at a white nationalist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia.

In an unclassified joint intelligence bulletin obtained by Foreign Policy, titled “White Supremacist Extremism Poses Persistent Threat Of Lethal Violence,” the FBI and DHS reviewed “lethal and potentially lethal incidents” of violence committed by white supremacists from 2000–2016.

The FBI and DHS concluded that violence in 2017 would likely “continue to be spontaneous and involve targets of opportunity,” but did not rule out the possibility of “plot-derived mass-casualty violence.” They projected that such violence would “derive from the capabilities of lone offenders or small cells, rather than the resources of larger groups, due to the decentralized and often disorganized status of the WSE movement.”

And then this might be my favorite part of this whole thing – if that’s possible – is that the president of the UVA Campus Republicans actually played the “I’m not racist but…” card. You don’t get to play that, that’s my fucking job!!!

"The president of Washington State University’s chapter of the College Republicans says that he’s being unfairly maligned after he was photographed participating in the white supremacist demonstrations in Charlottesville, VA over the weekend.

KREM Channel 2’s Amanda Roley spoke to James Allsup after his photo was identified in the #GoodNightAltRight Twitter campaign, which circulated photos of the white supremacists — including neo-Nazi groups, the Ku Klux Klan and “truckloads of skinheads” — who converged on Charlottesville purportedly to protest the removal of a statue of Confederate Gen. Robert E. Lee from a municipal park.

The “Unite the Right” march quickly turned into a melee that ended with the death of a 32-year-old anti-fascist protester and the injury of at least 19 others after a 20-year-old neo-Nazi rammed his car into a group of counter-demonstrators."

No Cartman, calm down. No race war. At least not yet. That is the wet dream of right wing conspiracy theorists, Infowars fans, and the alt right, after all. Alex Jones loves the idea. But this might be the most evil and despicable thing that came out of the rally, but thank god at least Go Daddy stepped up!

(CNN)The Daily Stormer, a white supremacist and neo-Nazi website, needs to find another domain name provider after GoDaddy gave it the boot following a derogatory story about the woman killed at the Charlottesville, Virginia, rally.
The site, which calls itself "The World's Most Genocidal Republican Website," registered its name with GoDaddy -- but GoDaddy doesn't host the Daily Stormer's content.
Nevertheless, the company said it wants nothing to do with the site following a piece on Heather Heyer. Heyer died after a car rammed a crowd of counter-protesters gathered to oppose a "Unite the Right" rally of white nationalist and other right-wing groups.

Oh and then if you need any proof that *THEY’RE* the snowflakes, one of the assholes identified in the rally says he doesn’t plan to return to Nevada at this time:

RENO — A student at the University of Nevada, Reno said things are "spiraling out of control" since he was identified as a participant in a white nationalist rally in Charlottesville, Va., over the weekend.

Peter Cvjetanovic, 20, a history and political science major, was identified by the Twitter account @yesyoureracist after his photo was taken holding a torch with what appears to be an angry expression on his face.

“I have received death threats,” said Cvjetanovic, who plans to report to the Reno Police Department at least five instances that he feels are legitimate threats. He said the threats have been violent and graphic.

He added he is not telling anyone his plans to return to Nevada for fear he may be attacked.

But… the Nazis aren’t done! They’re coming back for more in Boston:

Mayor Martin J. Walsh is exploring legal and tactical options for shutting down or containing Saturday’s planned conservative rally on Boston Common after the violence in Virginia — which included some of the same speakers listed for Boston’s event.

Walsh’s office said no one representing the Boston Free Speech Rally had pulled permits as of yesterday for the event, though flyers are already circulating for a five-hour protest that kicks off at noon Saturday.

“I don’t want them here, we don’t need them here, there’s no reason to be here,” Walsh said yesterday.

And thirds with Texas A&M! They’re going on a Deplorable Tour 2017 – coming soon to a city near you! Tickets on sale now!

COLLEGE STATION, Texas (AP) — Texas A&M University has criticized the views of a white nationalist who is planning a “white lives matter” rally on campus next month.

A&M spokeswoman Amy Smith told The Battalion student newspaper that Preston Wiginton’s rhetoric is “counter to the core values of Texas A&M.”

Smith said in an earlier statement to The Dallas Morning News that the university didn’t invite any white nationalists, but that it can’t stop them from coming. She says anyone can reserve space on the public university’s campus.

Donald Trump
[br]

So now that we know how we got here, what kind of leadership would you expect from a guy who emboldened the racists during his campaign? They literally plunged the country into anarchy on Saturday with both sides going “LET’S FIGURE THIS OUT!!!!”. Of course the racists were blaming this on the liberals like we saw with Dinesh D’Souza, but what did our esteemed president think? Let’s roll the tape!

*Trump voice* ON MANY SIDES!!! Sigh… I just… I cant even… I don’t… how… what… this guy is our president??? During a time of crisis he acts like he’s on the fucking campaign trail? Well the criticism has been fast:

Donald Trump has faced bipartisan criticism after failing to explicitly condemn the role of white supremacists in clashes with counter-protesters in Charlottesville, Virginia, that culminated in a car running into a crowd, killing at least one person.

The president said he condemned “hatred, bigotry and violence on many sides” on Saturday. He then repeated the phrase “on many sides” for emphasis. A White House spokesperson later amplified the president’s remarks, telling the Guardian: “The president was condemning hatred, bigotry and violence from all sources and all sides. There was violence between protesters and counter-protesters today.”

But there was strong reaction to Trump’s refusal to denounce far-right extremists who had marched through the streets carrying flaming torches, screaming racial epithets and setting upon their opponents.

Yeah yeah wrong. But what else is Trump wrong about this? You know he attempted to right the wrong by not denouncing his base – the racists and sexists who make up the “Unite The Right” crowd. But guess who *LOVED* his remarks? I… I’ve seriously run out of fucks to give at this point.

“The hate and division must stop. And must stop right now,” Trump said Saturday. “We condemn in the strongest possible terms this egregious display of hatred, bigotry and violence on many sides. On many sides. It’s been going on for a long time in our country.”

He did not say which “sides” he was referring to, or whose hatred and bigotry he was condemning.

Less than a half-hour after Trump’s live remarks, the Daily Stormer had declared the president’s words as a signal of tacit support for their side:

Trump comments were good. He didn’t attack us. He just said the nation should come together. Nothing specific against us.

You know you can’t denounce the division in this country when you’re the cause of most of it, Trump. And considering how young most of the attendees were of the TIKI torch parade, apparently cookies is really all it takes to get people to join the dark side.

CNN is reporting that President Trump insisted that he speak about the growing economy before remarks on Charlottesville, Va., in which for the first time since last weekend's violence he called out white supremacist groups for their actions.

"We are told by our White House team — and this is as telling as it gets — the president insisted on putting those economic remarks at the top of his statement before he got to the events in Charlottesville, before he got to his denunciation of the KKK and other hate groups," host John King reported on CNN's "Inside Politics."

"That was the president's call," King added.

Trump talked about his administration's economic efforts for more than a minute before turning to remarks on the weekend violence in Charlottesville during a five-minute on-camera event at the White House.

So what happens when Trump attempts to right a wrong? Well, he gets even more wrong! It’s like a perpetual shit machine – he lies and then attempts to correct those lies with even more lies!

Finally. Finally. President Trump has spoken out, but his silence over the past two days says more than his words today.
America was hit by a terrorist attack. We have seen Nazis marching in our streets in torchlight parades with the infamous salute and the swastika abundantly presented. We have seen the kind of hatred that has torn this country apart in the past praised and encouraged. Mr. Trump has faced withering criticism for his failure to denounce Nazis and Klansmen, even from many in his own party. Viewed in this light, his statement today had the feeling of political defensiveness not moral clarity.

Where was the passion to fight homegrown terrorism? Where was the determination to root out hatred and prejudice? Where was the heartfelt assurances that all Americans have the right to live in a peaceful and tolerant nation?

We have heard the glee with which the President has called immigrants rapists and murders. We have seen him smile broadly as he denounces the press as enemies of America. We have seen his eyes sparkle as he dismisses our inner cities as depraved wastelands. I didn't see any of that conviction in his words today.

I mean come on, Trump, the least you can do is call them out by name, and mean it. Even one of the racists’ dads is speaking out against his own son:

One father of a marcher in Charlottesville, Virginia over the weekend is denouncing his own son after the young man was seen on national news spouting hate.

In a letter to Fargo, North Dakota’s Inforum, father Pearce Tefft wrote that his family wasn’t sure where his son Peter picked up his racist beliefs.

“I, along with all of his siblings and his entire family, wish to loudly repudiate my son’s vile, hateful, and racist rhetoric and actions,” Tefft wrote, clarifying that he certainly didn’t learn such values at home.

“I have shared my home and hearth with friends and acquaintances of every race, gender, and creed. I have taught all of my children that all men and women are created equal. That we must love each other all the same,” he continued. However, he acknowledged, that Peter chose another path.

The family has remained largely silent, but Tefft said these recent events pushed them over the edge. Remaining silent, he believed, would be a mistake.

Donald Trump
[br]

So we’ve been trying to pinpoint the exact moment when the shit hit the fan in Charlottesville, and don’t be surprised if this isn’t going away any time soon. And we pointed out that the shit hit the fan when white supremacists came out and said they loved Trump’s initial speech. Well, yesterday’s press conference was a total clusterfuck.

WASHINGTON — President Trump reverted Tuesday to blaming both sides for the deadly violence in Charlottesville, Va., and at one point questioned whether the movement to pull down Confederate statues would lead to the desecration of memorials to George Washington.

Abandoning his precisely chosen and carefully delivered condemnations of the Ku Klux Klan and neo-Nazis from a day earlier, the president furiously stuck by his initial reaction to the unrest in Charlottesville. He drew the very moral equivalency for which a bipartisan chorus, and his own advisers, had already criticized him.

“I think there is blame on both sides,” the president said in a combative exchange with reporters at Trump Tower in Manhattan. “You had a group on one side that was bad. You had a group on the other side that was also very violent. Nobody wants to say that. I’ll say it right now.”

And there’s one aspect of the Trump administration that we have yet to cover – it’s called the President’s Council On Manufacturing. And the controversy was started when this happened on Monday:

The CEOs of athletic wear manufacturer Under Armour, computer chip maker Intel and pharmaceutical company Merck resigned Monday from the White House's American Manufacturing Council — with the Merck withdrawal drawing a quick and angry Twitter outburst from President Donald Trump.

Merck CEO Kenneth Frazier cited the president's failure to explicitly rebuke the white nationalists who marched in Charlottesville, Virginia, over the weekend. He wrote on Twitter Monday that "America's leaders must honor our fundamental values by clearly rejecting expressions of hatred, bigotry and group supremacy, which runs counter to the American ideal that all people are created equal."

Frazier is one of the few African-Americans to head a Fortune 500 company.

And he’s not the only one. Then this happened:

Three chief executives from top American companies resigned from a presidential business council on Monday following President Trump’s tepid initial response to a violent weekend in Charlottesville, Va.

Brian Krzanich, C.E.O. of Intel — one of the most important global manufacturers of computer chips — announced his departure from President Trump’s advisory council on manufacturing in a late-night blog post on Monday.

The decision followed similar moves from Kenneth C. Frazier, the chief executive of drugmaker Merck, who was the first executive to leave the advisory group on Monday, and Kevin Plank, the founder and chief executive of athletic apparel maker Under Armour, who also announced his decision on Monday evening.

So if you’re keeping score at home – that’s now 3 CEOs who have left the President’s Council On Manufacturing. Intel, Under Armour, and Merck. But there’s more!

The head of the AFL-CIO has stepped down from the White House's manufacturing council after President Trump doubled down on his position that violence in Charlottesville was perpetrated by many sides at a press conference Tuesday.

Richard Trumka said in a statement posted on Twitter that he "cannot sit on a council for a President who tolerates bigotry and domestic terrorism," and called Tuesday's remarks "the last straw."

The statement was jointly issued by Thea Lee, an economist who previously served as deputy chief of staff at the AFL-CIO. She also resigned from the council.

That’s four now! Even the head of the AFL-CIO is pissed at Trump! And we all know what a history Trump has with organized labor! How many more are still left? Anyone want to take a guess?

President Donald Trump said in a tweet Wednesday that he is disbanding his two business councils.

The move came after the manufacturing council lost seven members: three of whom left on Monday, two on Tuesday, and two on Wednesday amid fallout from his handling of the white-supremacist protests in Charlottesville, Virginia, over the weekend.

"Rather than putting pressure on the businesspeople of the Manufacturing Council & Strategy & Policy Forum, I am ending both. Thank you all!" Trump said in the tweet.

After the tweet, Johnson & Johnson's CEO and United Technologies CEO both announced their resignations from the council.

So when you’re Trump, and you’ve been defeated like this, what do you do? Do you get more CEOs to fill those positions? Nah, that is something that you know a real leader would do! Instead, Trump decides to do this:

After four members of his American Manufacturing Council resigned earlier this week, President Donald Trump explained away the actions as ones made out of "embarrassment" over the issue of outsourcing.

"Some of the folks that will leave, they're leaving out of embarrassment because they make their products outside [of the United States,]" Trump said Tuesday as he fielded questions following scheduled remarks on his infrastructure plans.

This week, the CEOs of Merck, Intel, Under Armour and the president of the Alliance for American Manufacturing all announced their departures from the advisory panel in the wake of Trump's response to the violence in Charlottesville, Virginia, Saturday.

Two more leaders, Richard Trumka, president of the AFL-CIO labor union, and Thea Lee, the AFL-CIO's former deputy chief of staff, announced their resignations following Trump's comments, which assigned "blame" to protesters on "both sides" last weekend.

And to *FURTHER* keep digging that hole, what does he do? He attacks the world’s largest online retailer!

President Trump renewed his attack on Amazon Wednesday, tweeting that the e-commerce giant is "doing great damage to tax paying retailers" and removing jobs in cities.

Amazon, which employs about 180,000 in the U.S. and has plans to finish hiring 100,000 more full and part-time jobs by mid-2018, couldn't be reached for comment.

Trump's blistering tweet, his first of the day, was issued hours after The Washington Post -- the newspaper owned by Amazon chairman Jeff Bezos -- ran an editorial with the headline, "Mr. Trump gives comfort to racists."

Holy Shit
[br]

It’s time once again for our new segment:

Yes, holy shit. The religious right has been cranking the batshit up way past 11 this week. Of course Charlottesville has been dominating the news this week, and first up – while Alex Jones claims to be a man of god, his explanation for what went down in Virginia this week is anything but Christian!

“I’ve been to this events,” said Mr Jones, host of the The Alex Jones Show. “They were just Jewish actors. Nothing against Jews in general, but they are leftists Jews that want to create this clash and they go dress up as Nazis.”

He added: “I have footage in Austin - we’re going to find it somewhere here at the office - where it literally looks like cast of “Seinfeld” or like Howard Stern in a Nazi outfit.

“They all look like Howard Stern. They almost got like little curly hair down, and they’re just up there heiling Hitler. You can tell they are totally uncomfortable, they are totally scared, and it’s all just meant to create the clash.”

Hey Alex! Sprechen sie dick! I love that movie. And then if that’s not enough, then behind door #2 there’s Scott Lively who offers this very un-Christian like response to Charlottesville:

Extremist anti-LGBTQ activist Scott Lively weighed in today on the violence surrounding the white nationalist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia last weekend, suggesting that it had all been instigated by “the same network of Bush, Clinton and Obama deep-state intelligence agents, politicians and street activists that’s been working since the election to remove President Trump.”

As Lively sees it, the goal of this “network of one-world statists” is to use left-wing groups to “inflame the right” and incite conflict in order to create “a global socialist government.”

In making his case, Lively bizarrely asserts that the multiple allegations of sexual assault against Bill Cosby are part of this effort, as is the existence of the notoriously anti-gay Westboro Baptist Church, which he suspects is really a left-wing group that was created simply to “hurt the pro-family movement.”

Really? Westboro is a left wing group? Bill Cosby is involved somehow? I want whatever brand of Covfefe he happens to be smoking! Man these people are paranoid, aren’t they? Well, Steve Strang isn’t helping!

Over the weekend, Charisma publisher Steve Strang posted a podcast conversation with Ray Moore, a South Carolina Republican who ran for lieutenant governor in 2014 on a platform of replacing public schools with an education system run by “churches, families, and private associations.” The two discussed what they described as a demonic “deep state” that is undercutting President Trump and the Constitution.

The “deep state” terminology has become popular among right-wing Trump supporters to describe leakers from within the White House, executive agencies or intelligence community who provide the media with information the Trump administration would rather keep secret.

In their interview, Moore described the deep state as “the hard left, the globalists, and those who are not friendly to traditional and Christian values that are sort of embedded in the layer of the government down from the senior level. These are the civil service people, some are political appointees, the media, and they work in the government.”

And speaking of not helping, one thing that conservative Christian fundamentalists hate with a fiery passion is education. Why? They’re dare not allowed to speak about God on publicly owned campuses. You know we have this weird thing in America it’s called “Separation of church and state”! And we should probably keep it that way!

On his radio program today, extremist anti-LGBTQ pastor Kevin Swanson and his co-host Bill Jack declared that “sexualized public schools that violate God’s law with high levels of flagrancy” should be burned to the ground.

Swanson and Jack were outraged by the fact that Washington state public schools teach students about gender identity issues, with Swanson at one point connecting this issue to a rape allegation against an employee at the state’s Department of Fish and Wildlife.

“Rape is also against God’s law and I guess it must be against state law; I’m not getting why, though,” Swanson said. “Why in the world is a sexual crime against the law in the state of Washington if the other forms of crimes are not against the law in the state of Washington? See, this is confusing to me.”

After Swanson fumed that “the worst possible abominations are accepted in the state of Washington” and that the public schools are “whorehouses,” Jack declared that “we need to burn ’em down.”

You know do these people really believe what they say? I really wonder sometimes. And then there’s of course our favorite “This Fucking Guy”, Dave Daubenmire. Why do we listen to this asshole’s opinions? Can anyone tell me? And why is every single video of this guy in front of a stadium? Dude, you’re not a coach. Give it up.

Religious Right activist “Coach” Dave Daubenmire spent a good portion of his “Pass The Salt Live” webcast this morning discussing the violence that occurred surrounding a white nationalist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, over the weekend, which he claimed was staged in order to provoke a civil war.

Daubenmire repeatedly described the participants in the “Unite The Right” rally as “patriots” who are simply trying to defend Western civilization and asserted that opposition to their march came from “Christ-haters.”

“Please tell me you’re smart enough to understand this, that those were staged riots,” Daubenmire said. “Can I tell you why? Because somebody wants to stir up a mess … They are trying to drive us to civil war.”

Daubenmire insisted that the rally in Charlottesville was hijacked by right-wing and left-wing activists who had been paid to disrupt the event and “make this look like racism is out of control in America.”

Ah, I miss the God Warrior! Those were good times. Hey Dave… let me tell you something that you need to hear: RACISM ***IS*** OUT OF CONTROL IN AMERICA! Only it’s by your side! Not ours! Thank you! Let’s roll the tape on “Coach” (?) Dave’s nonsense:

But finally, in the world of batshit crazy religious fundamentalists, you can always count on Jim Bakker to bring the crazy extra hard.

“You’ve got people mocking the prophets because [the End Times are] not happening fast enough,” Shorey said, “and by God’s grace, it’s not happening fast enough so we have time to put our order in and get the food out of his warehouse before the government does.”

Bakker said that “all the things that these men have prophesied on our show have taken place” and that “the first horse of the Apocalypse” has already arrived on earth.

“Can you people not see that the spirit of the Antichrist is in the United States of America?” Bakker asked, incredulously. “This is not the America I grew up in. This is an America where you can’t even have the Ten Commandments in the park and we’ve all just let it go and I’ll tell you, judgment is coming.”

Yes, Jim. Yes, we can. That’s it for this week in:

Google Vs The Alt Right
[br]

The alt right is dominating the news this week with Charlottesville. So remember last week how the alt right got their underwear in a wad when Google fired programmer James Damore for circulating a very harshly worded memo questioning the company’s diverse hiring practices? Well, they’re not done with Google yet. In fact the Alt Right is making Google their asshole this week. These people are quite certifiably insane.

Alt-right protests against Google’s allegedly anti-white-male diversity policies were already being planned before the white-supremacist violence in Charlottesville this last weekend. And organizers of the March on Google in (at last count) nine cities are trying to distinguish themselves from the motley gang of neo-Nazis, Kluxers, and open white supremacists who held the Unite the Right rally in Virginia. They issued a statement that closely tracks the evasive take on Charlottesville of you-know-who in the White House:

We, the organizers of the March on Google, join the President in condemning the actions in Charlottesville on August 12th. Despite many false rumors from those seeking to discredit us we are in no way associated with any group who organized there.

We condemn in the strongest possible terms any display of hatred and bigotry from any side. It has no place in America. No citizen should ever fear for their safety and security in our society.

Really these guys think of diversity the same way Ron Burgundy does:

How are these people any different than the alt righters who marched in Charlottesville? Do the sexist alt righters distance themselves from the racist alt righters? Do they hold separate meetings with separate meeting minutes? How does this work? Oh wait – never mind! It’s FREEEEEEEEEEEEEE SPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEECH!!!!!1!

Alt-right protesters are planning a "March on Google" next week, following the tech giant's firing of an employee over his internal company memo discussing gender differences in the workforce.

Far-right internet activist Jack Posobiec and "a coalition of free speech activists around the United States" organized the march, according to the official #MarchOnGoogle site.

“We are going to raise awareness about Google’s one-sided bias and campaign against dissenting opinions and voices,” Posobiec told The Mercury News.

The marches will take place "anywhere Google has an office" including Austin, Boston, New York City, Mountain View, Calif., and Washington, D.C.

Gee, how did I guess that asshole Posobiec is involved? But the alt right is clearly intolerant of Google’s tolerance!

Some of the most prominent voices on the alt-right have found a new hero in James Damore, the fired Google employee who attributed the lack of women in tech to “biological” differences between genders.

Even as Damore appears to work with some of the movement’s leaders, he sought to distance himself from their efforts Monday.

Asked about his affiliation with the alt-right and their planned protest of Google, Damore told CNBC: “I support Google, and I really do want Google to improve, so I don’t support efforts to try to hurt Google directly. I think that Google’s culture really does need to change if it wants to do what’s best for both its employees and its users, though.”

Pressed again as to whether he’s involved in those plans, Damore merely replied: “No, not really.”

I like that one! But guess what? James Damore doesn’t support the alt right! Ha ha!

James Damore was fired from Google last week over his controversial 3,300 word essay on diversity. His memo put him in the good graces of the alt-right -- but he's now distancing himself from the movement.

"I do not support the alt-right," he told CNN Tech. "Just because someone supports me doesn't mean I support them."

Many alt-right personalities have expressed their support of Damore and his document, which criticized Google for its "politically correct monoculture" and critiqued its efforts to increase staff diversity. He had been photographed in his "Goolag" shirt by Peter Duke, a photographer who has been called the "Annie Leibovitz of the alt-right."

”Dr.” Sebastian Gorka
[br]

It’s time for:

This week’s “This Fucking Guy” is a senior advisor of the White House – and a guy who really, really wants to emphasize the word “white” – “Dr.” Sebastian Gorka. You might be saying “who”? Because he’s really not that well known. Like Erik Prince, “Dr.” Sebastian Gorka prefers to remain in the shadows, you know, like Bane from the Dark Knight Rises. Only difference is Bane kicks ass and takes names, but I can’t really say that for anyone coming from this administration. So when what happened in Charlotte happened, guess what Gorka said?

Just days before a white supremacist rally resulted in the death of three people in Virginia, a White House adviser claimed that white supremacists were “not the problem” in America.

Sebastian Gorka, a deputy assistant to the president with a murky White House role and a controversial history, appeared on the Breitbart News Daily radio show to discuss the real threat to the US – radical Islamic terror.

“It’s this constant, ‘Oh, it’s the white man. It’s the white supremacists. That’s the problem.’ No, it isn’t, Maggie Haberman,” Mr Gorka said, referring to the prominent New York Times reporter.

So when what looks like an act of war happens thanks to white supremacists, this fucking guy is like “oh there’s no problems with white supremacists”. Well guess what? If you don’t have a problem with white supremacists, that means you are one! But there’s lots of demands right now to fire him along with Bannon in the wake of this week:

Religious and civil rights leaders called on President Donald Trump to fire White House advisors Steve Bannon and Sebastian Gorka, whose association with the white-supremacist “alt-right” movement have come under heightened scrutiny following Saturday’s violent racial clash in Charlottesville, Va.

“Supporters of white supremacists, violent extremism, racial bigotry and neo-Nazis should not serve in the White House or any level of government,” said Vanita Gupta, president and CEO of The Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights, during a telephone press briefing with reporters on Sunday.

Bannon, Trump’s chief strategist, is the former executive chairman of Breitbart News, a right-wing conservative news site that’s a favorite with white nationalists and the so-called “alt-right” movement of anti-semitic and white-power groups, according to the Southern Poverty Law Center. Bannon also served as CEO of Trump’s presidential campaign.

Gorka, a deputy assistant to Trump, has ties to anti-Semitic, right-wing groups in Hungary.

Yeah just let me close my laptop here… OK we’re good! In fact Charlottesville is not the first time this fucking guy has tried to pass off a terrorist attack as a setup. You know there was that bombing at a mosque in Minnesota a few weeks ago? Well, this fucking guy had this to say:

Three days after a bomb exploded at a mosque in suburban Minneapolis, a White House official told MSNBC that he isn't yet convinced the attack was not a "fake hate crime."

President Trump has not issued a statement — via Twitter or the White House press office — since the attack at Dar Al-Farooq Islamic Center took place.

On MSNBC, Sebastian Gorka, a top national security adviser to the president, said the president won't speak out about the bombing until "local authorities provide their assessment." (Minnesota Governor Mark Dayton has called the bombing "a criminal act of terrorism." The local police handed the investigation to the FBI.)

Yeah BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! Really, Gorka? You have to go there and blame “the left” for this? Why don’t you guys take a look in the fucking mirror? If there’s one thing the Trump administration is particularly horrible at, among other things, is analogies. You know like how I compare them to a fly on a horse’s ass. Thank you! Well, here’s what Gorka said when talking about one of the Trump administration’s favorite boogeymen – “radial Islam”!

White House national-security aide Sebastian Gorka offered an unusual analogy to defend Trump's preference for referring to attacks by Islamist extremists as "radical Islamic terrorism" during an interview on MSNBC Tuesday, comparing the debate over terms to medical diagnoses.

MSNBC Live co-host Ali Veshi noted during an interview with Gorka that recent terrorist attacks in the West have had "little or no material or operational" connection to ISIS and cited some who have argued such attacks won't go away even with the demise of that terrorist group.

Asked about the reasoning behind the White House tactic of referring to "radical Islamic terrorism" when describing such attacks, Gorka said it would "jettison the political correctness of the last eight years," referring to the Obama administration's avoidance of that term in such cases.

Really? You have to make the cancer analogy? We could say that about white supremacists – they are a cancer! And they’re spreading like mad! In fact despite that “Dr.” Gorka insists people call him “doctor”, he actually had to be reminded that Rex Tillerson is fourth in line to the presidency!

Update: Gorka is now saying his comments have been misconstrued and that he was merely saying the media shouldn’t ask Tillerson questions about military matters. “I said for reporters to force our chief diplomat — the amazing Rex Tillerson — to give details of military options is nonsensical. He is the secretary of state. ... I was admonishing the journalist of the fake news-industrial complex ... who are demanding that he make the military case for action.”

For those worried that President Trump might get into nuclear war with North Korea, Secretary of State Rex Tillerson provided some solace Wednesday. “Americans should sleep well at night,” Tillerson said, tempering Trump’s promise to unleash “fire and fury” on North Korea if it continued to threaten the United States. Tillerson emphasized that no conflict was imminent.

But now another Trump administration voice is suggesting that we shouldn’t pay Tillerson much mind.

Yeah of course he’ll deny it! That’s part of the “take no responsibility” that this administration is known for! That’s Sebastian Gorka, this week’s:

Blackwater
[br]

Time once again to ask:

This week: Blackwater: How Is This Still A Thing? You might have noticed a strange company popping up in the news a lot lately. They’re called Academi. Well, Academi used to be known as XE Services, Inc. Wait, that name sounds familiar doesn’t it? Well, XE Services was formerly known as a company who was heavily investigated during the Bush administration called Blackwater. But you may be asking yourself “I thought Blackwater went under during the Bush administration!”. WRONG! They just cut off the bad part and respawned new, like a worm. And like a worm, they’re now getting stronger!

The White House has reviewed a proposal to outsource the job of training and assisting Afghan forces to private contractors, said Erik Prince, founder of the private security firm formerly called Blackwater.

In several recent op-eds, the Blackwater founder suggested “restructuring” America’s presence in Afghanistan by replacing US troops training and assisting Afghan security units with private contractors on a long-term basis.

Prince’s new security company, Frontier Services Group, will bid for the government contract should the Trump administration take up his Afghanistan proposal, he told C-SPAN on Friday.

That’s right – Erik Prince is the brother in law of Trump’s secretary of education, Betsy DeVos. And did we say they’re getting stronger? Oh yes they are getting much stronger! In fact Prince has asked Trump to simply get rid of the military presence in Afghanistan.

One of the Iraq War’s most explosive criminal cases forced an uncomfortable debate about America’s reliance on private security firms in times of conflict. A decade later, that case is back in the spotlight as senior White House officials look to the founder of one such organization, Blackwater’s Erik Prince, for help extricating the U.S. military from its morass in Afghanistan.

As America’s longest war nears the start of its 17th year, and the Trump administration remains without a clear strategy, Prince has suggested that contractors could gradually supplant the 14,000 U.S. and NATO troops who remain in Afghanistan. Yet, for those opposed to the idea, the court case is a reminder of why such an approach seems so reckless and ill-advised.

But with the present, Trump is so desperate for ideas on how to keep the conflict going in Afghanistan that he is actually turning to a guy who nearly stood trial for treason for help. Let’s go back a few years to see how Blackwater is still a thing. So they dissolved and became XE Services in 2009 after they were kicked out of Iraq. Then this happened!

At a covert forward operating base run by the US Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC) in the Pakistani port city of Karachi, members of an elite division of Blackwater are at the center of a secret program in which they plan targeted assassinations of suspected Taliban and Al Qaeda operatives, "snatch and grabs" of high-value targets and other sensitive action inside and outside Pakistan, an investigation by The Nation has found. The Blackwater operatives also assist in gathering intelligence and help run a secret US military drone bombing campaign that runs parallel to the well-documented CIA predator strikes, according to a well-placed source within the US military intelligence apparatus.

The source, who has worked on covert US military programs for years, including in Afghanistan and Pakistan, has direct knowledge of Blackwater's involvement. He spoke to The Nation on condition of anonymity because the program is classified. The source said that the program is so "compartmentalized" that senior figures within the Obama administration and the US military chain of command may not be aware of its existence.

Yes, they fought a war in Pakistan so secret that the CIA didn’t know about it. Which is why the CIA hired them in 2010 to guard the US military bases set up in Afghanistan:

The CIA has hired Xe Services, the private security firm formerly known as Blackwater Worldwide, to guard its facilities in Afghanistan and elsewhere, according to an industry source.
The previously undisclosed CIA contract is worth about $100 million, said the source, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss the deal, which is classified.
"It's for protective services . . . guard services, in multiple regions," the source said.
Two other security contractors, Triple Canopy and DynCorp International, put in losing bids for the CIA's business, the source said.
The revelation comes only a day after members of a federal commission investigating war-zone contractors blasted the State Department for granting Xe a new $120 million contract to guard U.S. consulates under construction in Afghanistan.

Yeah really… WTF! Well here’s how they were able to get away with this – they weren’t called Blackwater or XE Services. Instead they were able to cleverly brand themselves as “US Training Centers”:

First it was Blackwater USA. Then it was Blackwater Worldwide. Now, it's "Xe" (pronounced "Zee". The private military company has repeatedly tried to re-brand, after numerous controversies from the killing of civilians in Nisoor Square in Baghdad; to its no-bid contracts in Iraq, Afghanistan and New Orleans, post-Katrina; to its hiring troops with ties to repressive regimes, like that of former Chilean dictator Augusto Pinochet. The company says its latest name change is meant to reflect a new focus. Blackwater / Xe spokesperson Anne Tyrrell said, "We've taken the company to a place where it is no longer accurately described as Blackwater." Its subsidiaries also have new names: Blackwater Airships is now Guardian Flight Systems, Blackwater Target Systems is GSD Manufacturing, and Blackwater Lodge and Training Center is the U.S. Training Center. The company has also shed its famous (or infamous) bear-paw and crosshairs logo. The new head of Blackwater / Xe, Gary Jackson, told employees, "Xe will be a one-stop shopping source for world class services in the fields of security, stability, aviation, training and logistics," reports the Wall Street Journal.

So Blackwater didn’t call themselves a mercenary unit. They instead called themselves a “training center”. Even the Pentagon is furious at Blackwater and telling them to simply get the fuck out of Afghanistan:

Erik Prince made a windfall convincing the State Department, military and CIA to hire his mercenary firm, Blackwater. But this time, his plan to win Afghanistan through a new infusion of guns-for-hire has few customers.

At the Pentagon, according to a knowledgeable former senior official, opposition to Prince’s proposal—details of which were first reported by USA Today—for a “viceroy” to run Afghanistan through a paid army runs high.

“The Pentagon is not interested in privatizing the war in Afghanistan,” the former official told The Daily Beast.

Several current and former Trump administration officials said that despite Prince’s recent reemergence on cable news—the venue of choice when attempting to persuade President Donald Trump—Prince has no significant internal support. That is, with one big exception: Steve Bannon, Trump’s chief strategist and an avowed bureaucratic enemy of the national security adviser, Army Lt. Gen. H.R. McMaster.

So the Pentagon doesn’t want them, the CIA doesn’t want them, anymore, and even Iraq doesn’t want them. And then with all the troubles that have surrounded this company, how are they still a thing? Even when you add this to the mix?

WASHINGTON — A federal appeals court on Friday threw out lengthy prison sentences for three former Blackwater Worldwide security contractors and ordered a new trial for a fourth involved in a deadly 2007 shooting in Baghdad that became a symbol of unchecked, freewheeling American power in Iraq.

The shooting killed or injured at least 31 civilians when contractors unleashed a torrent of machine-gun fire and launched grenades into a crowded downtown Baghdad traffic circle from their heavily armored trucks. An F.B.I. agent once called it the “My Lai massacre of Iraq.”

The ruling is a setback to the effort — which now stretches across three presidential administrations — to demand stiff consequences for the shooting in Baghdad’s Nisour Square. Along with the massacre by Marines of 24 Iraqi civilians at Haditha and the abuses of Iraqi prisoners at Abu Ghraib prison, it was among the war’s darkest moments and stained the reputation of the United States.

So murder, political intrigue, favoritism, and shady business practices. That’s enough to make you ask – Blackwater:

People Are Dumb
[br]

Hit it!

So of course you know by now that people are people, and people are dumb. So who’s stupid this week? Well, you can always count on Wal-Mart, the Florida of department stores, to bring the stupid extra hard. You know in an era where mass shootings, terror attacks, and overall paranoia about idiots with guns in our society are at an all time high, is this really what we need right now?

Online outrage is being directed at Wal-Mart for a gun display at one of its stores, after a photo went viral on Wednesday of a sign that hung above it.

The photo shows a back-to-school banner that reads "Own the school year like a hero" situated above a glass case full of guns.

"What's seen in this photograph would never be acceptable in our stores," a Wal-Mart spokesperson told CNBC in a statement. "We regret this situation and are looking into how it could have happened."

Initial reports said the store was in Evansville, Indiana, but that has not been confirmed by Wal-Mart as of Thursday afternoon. The company had started its investigation midday Wednesday, after the photo began circulating.

Can we show that?

Yeah BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! That is what you call an epic fail. What’s next for dumb? How about one of my favorite subgenres in dumb news – fast food rage? I love a good fast food rage story. But this guy… definitely needs his ass kicked. At least one less Trump voter is a good thing!

(ATTLEBORO, Mass.) — A Rhode Island man has been accused of knocking a 6-year-old girl out of his way when she tried to help him pick up tokens he dropped at a Chuck E. Cheese's in Massachusetts.

Police say 53-year-old Daniel Lafayette, of North Smithfield, told them the girl was trying to steal his tokens at the Attleboro entertainment center and restaurant.

Police say the mother of the girl told them she was trying to help Lafayette pick up the tokens when he kicked her on Saturday.

Let’s talk about some lighter news in the world of dumb. I know! How about counterfeiting? And extremely poor counterfeiting at that!

Authorities say a man who tried to deposit what he presented as a $1 million bill has been charged with drug possession in Iowa.

A criminal complaint says Sioux City police officers were called to a Northwest Bank branch Thursday to talk to a man who tried to deposit the bill into his account. The officers asked 33-year-old Dennis Strickland whether he had any more of the bills and that a baggie fell out when he emptied a pocket. The complaint says the baggie contained methamphetamine.

The U.S. Treasury Department says it has never produced a $1 million bill.

What’s next? How about some stupid animals? Yeah there’s stupid people, there’s also stupid animals such as this bear in Colorado that got stuck in a car. By the way, I love the quote from the guy who witnessed it. Classic!

Durango resident Ron Cornelius awoke to find a Subaru SUV crashed at the bottom of the hill at the end of his driveway.

"Usually, I don't get up at 5 o'clock unless there is a bear driving a car down the street," he joked to the Durango Herald newspaper.

Two or three bears get stuck in cars each week in the area, officials say.

Whoa whoa whoa… this is a problem in Colorado? WTF is going on that that many bears get stuck in cars each week? I want to know more!!! What next? Well why not Florida? Because well it’s Florida, and this story has everything!

A Freeport man who identified himself as 'Alice in Wonderland' to police caused over $100, 000 worth of damage to a Walmart liquor store construction site Saturday, according to police.

The Crestview Police Department (CPD) said 32-year-old Mathew Jones broke into a fenced-in construction site on Ferdon Boulevard South and allegedly commandeered a forklift.

He then started destroying the site at the under-construction liquor store of the Crestview Walmart, according to police.

Jones told police he was told to commit the offenses by a "hookah-smoking caterpillar," according to his arrest report.

Meth? Liquor? Blame it on imaginary insects? Strange name? Ooh, ooh!!! $100,000 in damages! BINGO!!!! What do I win? Staying in Florida there’s also this guy:

TAMPA, Fla. (AP) — A Florida man has been sentenced to six years and five months in prison for accidentally shooting a gun while taking a selfie in a strip club restroom.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office in Tampa announced 34-year-old Rorn Sorn’s sentencing Monday. The Asian Pride Gang member pleaded guilty in April to possessing a firearm as a convicted felon.

Court documents say Sorn was at Club Lust in St. Petersburg in December when his gun discharged. The bullet went through the mirror and into the adjacent women’s restroom. No injuries were reported.

And then there’s also this couple from Florida who cooked with a *GAS* grill while driving and lit a cigarette:

Don't let Hank Hill hear this story. A husband and wife in Florida were injured on Sunday when they left a gas grill on before loading it into their Kia Sorrento, which later exploded after the woman lit a cigarette and sparked the fumes, according to the Orlando Police Department. That is not good propane safety.

WESH reports that police say the couple were leaving a barbecue at the Central Florida Fairgrounds in Orlando when the incident occurred. They neglected to turn off both the burners and the gas valve at the tank when they loaded it into the back of the Sorrento—why is a question that goes unanswered—leaving the grill burning and quickly filling the car with propane.

Finally this week, we always have dumb criminals, and even the occasional stupid cop. But there’s one very underrepresented group out there of stupid people – the dumb attorney! And this one might be as stupid as it gets! This one in Ohio was caught money laundering, very poorly. And why? Well he’s got a very compelling reason!

A federal appeals court has upheld the money-laundering conviction of a Cleveland criminal defense lawyer who suggested a technique employed by fictional lawyer Saul Goodman on the television show Breaking Bad.

Following Goodman’s lead, lawyer Matthew King suggested setting up a sham corporation to launder drug proceeds, according to the Cincinnati-based 6th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals. “This did not end well,” Judge Jeffrey Sutton wrote (PDF).

King was convicted of two counts of money laundering and one count of attempted money laundering. He was sentenced to 44 months in prison.

That’s it this week for:

World Tour Destination #10: The Netherlands
[br]

Part of our mission statement here at the Top 10 Conservative Idiots is to show you that conservative idiocy isn’t just a problem with America. No, it’s a global problem that is stemming far and wide, and it’s not just America where conservative idiots ruin everything they touch. And if you’re thinking of moving out of the United States just because Donald J. Trump is our current president and our nation is turning to shit, you should know what it is you’re getting into should you decide that you want to leave the country. So if you want a recap of where we’ve been so far, in the last couple of weeks, we discovered that Norway is kind of racist, Sweden is very lax when it comes to cyber security, and Belgium is the latest victim of Brexit. Here’s the tour schedule:

The Netherlands

Next up on our World Tour, we’re heading to the land of canals. It’s also the home of legalized prostitution and drugs. I’m of course talking about the Netherlands. When you think of the Netherlands you immediately think of Amsterdam, right? Well Amsterdam is home to Schipol Airport - AMS – one of the single largest airports in the entire world. It’s also home to such iconic places to visit as the Anne Frank Museum, which contains the house and the attic where Anne Frank and her family famously hid from the Nazis during WWII. It’s also the home of the Vincent Van Gogh Museum and such classic works of art as Starry Night:

And of course when you think of the Netherlands you immediately think of drugs. Because why wouldn’t you? The fact that the Netherlands has been the home of the anti-War on Drugs has been well documented in countless movies like Harold & Kumar Escape From Guantanamo Bay:

And if you want sports – they’ve got ‘em. Football, field hockey and of course golf are particularly popular in this country. Concerts? Amsterdam is home to tons of music festivals like Lowlands and Best Kept Secret. The Netherlands is also the home of such scenic cities as Utrecht, Maastrict, Rotterdam, and Tillburg. It’s also the home of the Hague – the home of the world’s only non partisan international court. Where we have yet to see a Bush or Trump stand trial. Now speaking of Anne Frank, the Anne Frank Center recently issued this warning about the United States and the rise of the alt right:

A human rights organization inspired by World War II diarist Anne Frank referenced the Holocaust Tuesday in an attempt to caution its followers about President Donald Trump.

The Anne Frank Center for Mutual Respect, a New York City–based nonprofit that says it was founded by Anne's father in 1959, shared an image on Twitter of a bulleted list laying out what appeared to be similarities between Trump and Nazi leader Adolf Hitler. Among them were "the president creates his own media," "he endorses police brutality," and "he demonizes people who believe, look or love differently."

"Alarming parallels of history escalate," the center wrote.

But what else is The Netherlands the home of? Well, it’s the home of a massive food contamination problem that’s spreading to neighboring countries like Belgium, Germany, and Luxembourg.

Europe’s latest food scandal has deepened as Belgium accused the Dutch authorities of failing to sound the alarm after discovering eggs were being contaminated with a harmful insecticide as early as November last year.

The Belgian agriculture minister, Denis Ducarme, told a parliamentary hearing that his officials had obtained an internal Dutch document that reported “the observation of the presence of fipronil in Dutch eggs at the end of November 2016”.

“When a country like the Netherlands, one of the world’s biggest exporters of eggs, does not pass on this kind of information, that is a real problem,” Ducarme said. The minister suggested the evidence had only come to him “by chance”, rather than through official channels.

Was the guy at the helm like Homer Simpson when he just kept pressing the Y key on his keyboard?

Man I want to live in the Netherlands. Here in California we’re actually worried about the very real possibility of a North Korean nuclear strike. In the Netherlands? Eggs. But apparently this egg thing is very real and it’s deeply troubling across borders in the Netherlands.

The European Union nations have fallen into a diplomatic row after it was discovered that eggs contaminated with the banned insecticide may have been sold to the public, triggering health fears.

The Belgium Agriculture Minister Denis Ducharme said during a special parliamentary meeting to discuss the scandal the Dutch food agency NVWA had received notification the banned insecticide fipronil had been found in eggs in November 2016.

Mr Ducharme added that the delay in notifying other countries of the issue had been caused by the NVWA which repeatedly refused to share data in June over which farms had used delousing services from a Dutch company, which was now under investigation.

At least Bugs Bunny is an effective general! But what else happens in the Netherlands? You know, in Europe’s Vegas, what happens in the Red Light District stays in the Red Light District, am I right? But this egg scandal is very serious and it goes back as far as last year:

BRUSSELS (REUTERS) - Belgian officials waited a month for information from Dutch counterparts after finding traces of an insecticide in eggs, Belgium’s farm minister said on Wednesday (Aug 9), adding that the Netherlands had known about contamination since last November.

Contamination with the insecticide fipronil has led retailers in several European countries to pull millions of eggs from supermarket shelves, as the scare over its potentially harmful consequences to humans spread.

Belgium’s food safety regulator has drawn criticism both at home and abroad after it said it was informed about a first case of fipronil contamination in Belgium in early June but only notified the European Commission in late July.

Oh come on Netherlands, we here in the United States are used to this kind of thing. We have thing called the Monsanto Corporation, who are also getting a lot of shit for this kind of thing! But food poisoning isn’t the only thing going in the Netherlands. It’s dominating the news right now and it should, but we always want to look at all aspects when we visit a particular country. You know one way the Netherlands is better than us? Here’s how they treat refugees.

In this Friday, July 7, 2017 photo, refugees and migrants play football at the former prison of Bijlmerbajes in Amsterdam, Netherlands. With crime declining in the Netherlands, the country is looking at new ways to fill its prisons. The government has let Belgium and Norway put prisoners in empty cells and following the huge flow of migrants into Europe, several Dutch prisons have been temporarily pressed into service as asylum-seeker centers. (AP Photo/Muhammed Muheisen)

Yes – you heard that correctly! Crime in the Netherlands is dropping so much that the country is having a hard time actually filling its’ prisons! They can borrow some of ours, and we’ve got a surplus! And by the way you want to see what an actual jail looks like in the Netherlands? Can we show that?

Holy crap! That’s nicer than a lot of apartments I’ve been in! That’s nicer than a lot of hotels I’ve stayed in,. and I’ve stayed in some dumps. But what else is going on in the Netherlands? Did you know the Netherlands is the home of the world’s largest bicycle parking garage? Not surprising!

In any other country, the opening of what will become the world’s largest bicycle parking garage – with space for 6,000 cycles initially, and another 6,500 by the end of next year – would be heralded as a great success. The 17,100 sq metre space under Utrecht’s central station will soon knock the current title-holder, under Kasai underground station in Tokyo, off its perch.

Yet such is the intensity of the Dutch love affair with the bike, authorities in the Netherlands are being accused of complacency, rather than praised for their foresight. The 12,500 places at Utrecht station are all very well, critics say, but with 43% of journeys under 7.5km (4.6 miles) being taken by cycle in Utrecht – creeping up from 40% five years ago – they simply aren’t enough, said Martijn van Es, spokesman for the Dutch cycling organisation Fietsersbond.

Oh and by the way – even a country that might be one of the best liberal countries to live in – isn’t immune from Trump.

Donald Trump's record of homophobia and transphobia continues to grow, with his appointment of a Republican extremist as amassador to the Netherlands.

The social views of long-serving Michigan congressman Pete Hoekstra will clearly clash with liberal Holland, which legalized same-sex marriage back in 2001. Hoekstra, which spent the first three years of his life in the Netherlands, is a far-right conservative of which Trump is a big fan. Hoekstra sponsored nine anti-LGBT bills while in office, according to the Washington Post.

Serving in Congress from 1993 to 2011, Hoekstra was a backer of the Defense of Marriage Act, and tried to make adoption harder for same-sex parents. He even refused to add an LGBT-specific nondiscrimination policy to his own congressional office.

The Verdict & Scorecard

The Netherlands is an awesome country. I’ve been there. But no country on earth right now is completely immune from conservative idiocy or the alt right. But the Netherlands might be one of the best countries we’ve visited so far.

Tourism: A
Culture: A

Overall: A

Next Week

Next week we’re doing it gothic style as we head to Eastern Europe for the final European destination on the first leg of our World Tour – the Czech Republic! Then it’s on to Africa, South America, and North America! Plus commemorating edition number 3-11, how about some live music from 311? Yay!

And Now This:
Blink 182

Ladies and gentlemen, my next guest is one of the biggest bands in the world right now and they have one of last year’s best albums which just got reissued with a deluxe version. I’m of course talking about Blink 182 and their excellent album “California”. Buy it or you’re no friend of this show. Playing their song “Kings Of The Weekend”, give it up for Blink 182!!!!

Yeah how about that? Wait, they want to stick around for one more? Sure!

Yeah how about that?

See you next week!

I feel like starting a debate right now.

And that debate is: Eyelashes on car headlights - cute or creepy? I personally say creepy.

Wow. Stan Lee called out hate and bigotry in 1968!
