They do realize that this is SAN FRANCISCO, right? The same San Francisco that the right wing has been shitting on for the last 10 years as a "democrat run city"? The same 49ers team that once employed the same Colin Kaepernick that they once rebelled against? Texas troopers told to push children into Rio Grande, deny water to migrants, records say
The July 3 account, reviewed by Hearst Newspapers, discloses several previously unreported incidents the trooper witnessed in Eagle Pass, where the state of Texas has strung miles of razor wire and deployed a wall of buoys in the Rio Grande.
According to the email, a pregnant woman having a miscarriage was found late last month caught in the wire, doubled over in pain. A four-year-old girl passed out from heat exhaustion after she tried to go through it and was pushed back by Texas National Guard soldiers. A teenager broke his leg trying to navigate the water around the wire and had to be carried by his father.

Holy shit. At what point do we say "enough is enough"? Greg Abbott, Ken Paxton, and Dan Patrick are some truly, sick, twisted, murderous, evil fucks who should be doing hard time for these atrocities. And so should their Fox News enablers (Sean Hannity, Steve Bannon, Alex Jones, etc). This is extremely cruel and inhumane.

Missouri Rule Change Would Allow Senators to Challenge Each Other to a Duel
Senator Nick Schroer put a motion to the state's Senate to adopt a rule change allowing state politicians to settle grievances through physicality.
His proposed amendment was posted on X, formerly Twitter, by Missouri Senate Democrats. It read: "If a senator's honor is impugned by another senator to the point that it is beyond repair and in order for the offended senator to gain satisfaction, such senator may rectify the perceived insult to the senator's honor by challenging the offending senator to a duel.

The United States government is not responsible for Ashlii Babbitt's death. You know who is 100% responsible for her death? Ashlii Babbitt. And the people that she chose to listen to over the course of her life. That's what the right does - they refuse to take responsibility for their own actions and blame everybody else when they fail.
You know who is responsible for her death? It's Tucker Carlson, Alex Jones, Sean Hannity, Steve Bannon, Mike Lindell, TPUSA, Joe Rogan, Ben Shapiro, Charlie Kirk, Marjorie Greene, Lauren Boebert, the list goes on and on. Ultimately leading to Trump himself. If that's your only source of entertainment that's on you. Right wing extremist conspiracy theory propaganda is what got this country in the current mess that it's in. And you can see the damage that it's doing overseas too.
Your media diet says a lot about you. And it has an effect on everybody around you. If you watch nothing but Fox News 24 a day and start holding grudges against the government, that's your choice. You choose to consume this content. Yes, we can point fingers all we want at the people that produce this content, but we should also be watching and monitoring who consumes this content.
The bottom line is that misinformation kills. It's nothing to screw with. We saw that at work during COVID when nearly a million people voluntarily chose to sacrifice themselves because they listened to the bullshit being passed around social media by the likes of Sherri Tenpenny, Robert Kennedy Jr., and Trump himself and threatened to murder actual experts like Dr. Fauci who were telling the truth. Yes there's people out there who really did believe that COVID was caused by lizard people and that hyrdoxycholorquine and ivermectin were the only real cures, fuck the vaccine.
You know what would have prevented this? What would have prevented Trump and the insurrection? Education. But of course the right wing is doing everything they can to ensure that people aren't properly educated. They don't want a well educated populace that's capable of critical thinking. They want a population that's just dumb enough to push the buttons and not ask questions.
Which is why the choices of Ashlii Babbitt and the January 6th prisoners is solely on them. It's in the things they choose to read, watch and listen to. Misinformation kills. Extremist propaganda kills. It's done more damage to this country than Al Qaeda or the Taliban could ever dream of. Don't let yourself get "red pilled". It's bad for you.
