I hope it is.

I am an old white guy with sisters, daughters, nieces it is a high issue on my voting list. The right to control their body has been taken from them. I just don’t know if in Tenn it moves the needle far enough. What can’t happen is the loss of the senate though because then, really bad legislation can move from the house to the senate and be cared on in both places. Then the only hope is to hold the Whitehouse. ….. I am a believer in LOcKING DOWN the low hanging fruit before we expand the field. Things are too close to do otherwise. I threw money to Jamie Harrison, Marcus Flowers, others, not a lot but that few hundred dollars should have gone where it may have mattered more. I took a simple pleasure in my money being used to goad people I did not like by candidates who could not win.

This still does not seem right to me. 7 Felonies 6 years.

https://www.nbcwashington.com/news/local/florida-woman-gets-6-years-in-prison-for-attacking-officers-during-the-us-capitol-riot/3385351/

I know I have been screaming like a nut that the 1/6 insurrectionists deserve longer sentences but how does one convicted of 7 felonies walk away with 6 years. Three counts of assaulting resisting or impeding, that gets you shot in many places and she is walking in 6. Seems like bullshit to me.

Another 1/6 arrest. 30 months later, none of the insurrectionists should sleep well waiting for the

Knock at the door. It may be taking a while, but well over 1000 arrests have been made on those who assaulted the US Capitol in an attempt to overthrow Democracy. Hopefully we will start to see arrests of rhe planners of the event soon.

A New Hampshire man has been arrested on multiple felony charges for allegedly throwing a water bottle at police and stealing a helmet as a “war trophy” during the Jan. 6, 2021, insurrection.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia said in a Tuesday release that 22-year-old Richard Zachary Ackerman, of Salem, was part of the mob of rioters that illegally formed on the Capitol grounds during the attack, including at the Capitol’s lower west terrace, near an archway and a tunnel that leads into the building ……

During the attack, Ackerman allegedly threw a water bottle at a line of officers who were positioned at the entrance of the tunnel to the Capitol building.

Buy the ticket take the ride. Hope you enjoy jail asshole.

A Texas man who joined other rioters at the U.S. Capitol trying to break into the Speaker’s Lobby, where a woman who was a part of the mob on Jan. 6, 2021, was fatally shot by police, was sentenced on Tuesday to nearly seven years in prison, the Justice Department said.

The man, Christopher R. Grider, 41, of Eddy, Texas, had also tried to shut off the electricity at the Capitol, pressing buttons on an electric utility box while yelling, “Turn the power off!” according to prosecutors.

Grider, who operates a vineyard in central Texas, pleaded guilty last year to entering a restricted area and unlawfully parading at the Capitol, his lawyer said. He went to trial on seven other charges, including civil disorder and violent entry and disorderly conduct on Capitol grounds, and Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly of U.S. District Court in Washington, D.C., convicted him on all counts.

American Airlines sucks

I don’t know why I bother flying at all

10 hour flight delay in STL, and at 2 am they finally delay the flight until 9am. At this point, I will sleep in the airport but I am watching a young mother try to find a hotel at 2am for her and her two young children. American is not helping her at all. I am trying to find a hotel with an airport shuttle she can use

Strange day on Capitol Hill

Parents of one of children killed in the Parkland shooting were arrested for disrupting a congressional hearing. Called out of order by the Republican chairman. And on the same day, the mother of Ashli Babbitt had a one on one audience with the Speaker of the House.

The world is turned upside down.

Hugo Lowell on MSNBC

Each time I see this young reporter speak I am amazed. He is now 23 years old. He started reporting on the insurrection as a 22 year old kid. He has great contacts, writes well and has amazing poise on TV. At 22 I was an asshole and at 23 not much better. This young reporter continues to impress me each time I see him or read his articles. I subscribed to the Guardian to read his work.

House GOP did not tell Raskin to remove head covering

This is just one reason that Twitter Sucks. The lie spreads quickly.

In a Tuesday tweet, Punchbowl News reporter Heather Caygle wrote that Raskin had received a standing ovation in a House Democratic Caucus meeting after saying he’d push back on Republican efforts to make him remove his headwear. “And I will make them take off their toupees,” Caygle quoted Raskin as saying.

Jacob Wilson, a spokesperson for Raskin, told the AP in an email that Raskin “was responding lightheartedly to a hypothetical question from a colleague” at the caucus meeting. According to Caygle’s tweet, he was asked “what he would do if Republicans made him take off his headwear on the House floor.”

Caygle clarified in a follow-up tweet that Raskin said no House Republicans have spoken to him about hat rules. Caygle declined further comment when reached by email. Wilson said the Democrat “has received nothing but support and encouragement from all of his colleagues and leaders on both sides of the aisle.”

Reminder, tomorrow is the day that a judge will sentence Insurrectionist Sick Fucks Khater & Tanois

Julian Khater and George Tanois are scheduled to be sentenced. They are the sick bastards who are caught on film in a chemical attack on USCP Officer Brian Sicknick hours before his collapse and soon there after death. Because of the DC Medical Examiners finding (which makes no sense to me but I am not a doctor) they were not charged with murder, but their actions led to the death of a healthy 42 year old police officer.

Hopefully the Judge hits them with the longest sentence he can and sends a message that it not ok to attack police officers defending American Democracy. These stains on American Democracy came to the Capitol intending to attack, they did and Brian is now dead.

I hope they get the longest sentence possible and that their time in jail breaks them. No matter what, Officer Sicknick is not coming back. His family is now deprived of his company and love forever.

Some day they will rot in hell, but until then, I hope they rot in jail.
