Graham: Trump firing Mueller would be 'the beginning of the end of his presidency'

(CNN)Sen. Lindsey Graham gave a stern warning Sunday to President Donald Trump against firing special counsel Robert Mueller.
"As I said before, if he tried to do that, that would be the beginning of the end of his presidency," the South Carolina Republican said on CNN's "State of the Union."
"The only reason that Mr. Mueller could be dismissed is for cause. I see no cause when it comes to Mr. Mueller," Graham said, later adding he believed the Mueller was "doing a good job."
Graham called for Mueller to be able to carry out his investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election "independent of any political influence."

A little early for St. Patrick's Day, but I made Colcannon last night
On impulse the other day I picked up a couple of leeks, then went and searched for recipes. The one that sounded good was Colcannon, a combination of leeks, cabbage and mashed potatoes. While completely different from anything we have had before, both my husband and I liked it.
Here is how I made it, a mix of several different recipes from various sources.
Ingredients
6 medium Yukon Gold potatoes, cubed
4 tablespoons butter
2-3 leeks, chopped, both green and white parts
1/2 head (about 1 pound) of cabbage, shredded
2 cloves of garlic, minced
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup sour cream
salt & pepper to taste
Put potatoes in a sauce pan and cover with salted water. Bring to a boil, cook until fork goes in easily. Drain then mash with milk and sour cream. Season to taste.
Melt butter in large pan, saute leeks, garlic, and half the cabbage until tender. Mix in the rest of the cabbage and the mashed potatoes. Top with butter as desired.
NOTE: I do not add salt or pepper when I cook (an effort to cut our salt use). We add salt as desired at the table and seldom use pepper at all.
This was a very different and interesting dish - it would be great with corned beef, or some reviewers suggested putting beef stew on top. We had it with pork chops.

This one made me LOL!
When they were trying to bring Puffins back to islands on the US east coast, they decided to do so with dummies. Puffins are very social and, as a result, would want to land on islands that already have puffins. The dummies looked real from a distance, but were seriously lacking up close, held up by a single peg. Puffins, being social and wanting to fit it, followed suit
An idea for those of us who are getting older
Sent to me by my sister:
Medicare Part G
If you are an older senior citizen and can no longer take care of yourself and need Long-Term Care, but the government says there is no Nursing Home care available for you, what do you do?
You may opt for Medicare Part G.
The plan gives anyone 75 or older a gun (Part G) and one bullet. You may then shoot one worthless politician. This means you will be sent to prison for the rest of your life where you will receive three meals a day, a roof over your head, central heating and air conditioning, cable TV, a library, and all the health care you need. Need new teeth? No problem. Need glasses? Thats great. Need a hearing aid, new hip, knees, kidney, lungs, sex change, or heart? They are all covered!
As an added bonus, your kids can come and visit you at least as often as they do now!
And, who will be paying for all of this? The same government that just told you they can't afford for you to go into a nursing home.
And you will get rid of a useless politician while you are at it.
And now, because you are a prisoner, you don't have to pay any more income taxes!
Is this a great country or what?
Now that you have solved your senior Long-Term Care problem, enjoy the rest of your week!
