Charles Koch is sad that he and his brother dont have as much influence over the 2016 election as they had hoped. In an interview with The Financial Times, Koch lamented the fact that he and his brother David had presented all of the Republican candidates with a list of things that they wanted to get out of the next president, and the candidates didnt seem to care too much about those demands.
So because the candidates were not immediately willing to sign off on the Koch checklist, the Koch brothers think they dont have enough power in the political process.

When it comes to politicians, its usually best to second-guess almost everything they say. This holds true especially for Republicans in an election year.
Take the issue of immigration. Republican presidential candidates have made this years election all about the handling of undocumented immigrants, and theyve been very successful in drumming up their angry, bigoted base to be fearful of anyone that comes across Americas borders.

One of the biggest problems that Progressives seem to have is that they are overly willing to try to play nice with Republican creeps. But theres a big difference between taking the high road, and just rolling over, and thats what most Progressives dont seem to understand. But theres a group out there that isnt afraid to throw a few punches when necessary, and that group is Occupy Democrats. Ring of Fires Farron Cousins discusses this with the co-founder of that group, Omar Rivero

DuPont might just be one of the worst corporations operating in America today. For close to 50 years, the company was poisoning the town of Parkersburg, West Virginia with a chemical known as a C8 a chemical that the company knew would linger in the bodies of the residents of that town for a quarter century, causing cancers and other illnesses along the way.

Even with President Obamas executive action on gun control last week, gun manufacturers arent scared one bit. And thats because their stocks are going through the roof.
Last year, as a result of the constant mass shootings taking place in America, gun sales began to skyrocket. In the wake of last weeks executive order making it slightly more difficult to buy a firearm without a background check, Wall Street speculators have been pumping money into the stocks of gun makers, anticipating a massive spike in sales as a result of President Obamas executive actions.

Young voters are going to make up the largest voting demographic in this years elections, but getting this group to vote is no easy task. Republicans in Washington kicked off the New Year by announcing that they wouldnt be working to make the country better, but instead theyll just be working to stop President Obama from being able to do anything during his final year in office. This is actually how the Republicans have operated since the first day Obama came into office.
Ring of Fires Farron Cousins discusses what we can expect from the Republicans in 2016 with attorney Michael Burg.

For years the Republican Party has been telling us that the welfare system in America is helping to make people lazy and making them too dependent on the federal government. If this is true, then a new report has some horrible news to deliver to Republicans....
