Until 2 days ago I was seeing sparrows, finches, cardinals, chickadees, wrens, titmouses, doves and prolly more.
Is this an omen?

I was watching ESPN and they were airing one of their “Make A Wish” segments. They film kids who are having their wishes granted by meeting their favorite athletes. These segments are tough to watch but they also show the kindness there can be.
There was a kid from a South Dakota farm who wanted to meet Larry Fitzgerald who is a wide receiver for the Arizona Cardinals. They pulled out all the stops and he had a blast. I always hope for the best for these kids but many face huge odds.
What caught my attention was the last line of the piece. The sports anchor said the little boy’s Mama told them he got really frustrated because he was very limited in his contact with animals. He told her “I’m gonna go in that chicken coop and I don’t care what they say!”
I laughed out loud and then I wanted to cry. Gawd I hope he gets to go in that chicken coop again. All of us probably have some quirky wish in us that we probably don’t even realize until something out of the ordinary happens. We all have our “chicken coops.”
I thought about what might be a ‘chicken coop’ for me and I came up with a few. Figure out what yours are and don’t wait to go in them. Sometimes tomorrow never comes.
The "Sister Survivors" of Larry Nassar's abuse received the Arthur Ashe Courage Award last night.
There were 141 women who were able to come and represent everyone. Seeing them on the stage and then realizing there were so many more was stunning, heartbreaking, and infuriating.
The first video is a piece ESPN made about the abuse. No punches were pulled. The second video is composed of speeches by 3 survivors.
These are worth watching. If you saw any of their testimony, you realize the damage done and the courage it took to come forward.
(The GOP governor of Michigan appointed that POS John Engler as Michigan State President when the old one resigned. FOIA turned up emails he had sent claiming these girls were in it for fame and money. NONE of the organizations involved have been held accountable enough IMO.)

It took Cabinet 18 months to agree on what Brexit should look like. Entire government has been consumed with Brexit and held hostage by hardline Brexiteers in the Tory party
Cabinet agreed on a soft-ish Brexit last weekend (some freedom of movement and goods). Also soft is Overton Window stuff as 2 years ago, we’d have labelled the plan extreme and hardline.

Please do not tie this issue to Trump. I read posts both ways saying ‘what do you expect from a Trump supporter’ or ‘you’re just trying to nail Trump.’ When you do this, the issue and crime get caught up in the whole miasma surrounding him.
I don’t care if it was Beto or whoever being accused with this level of information, I would say “OUT”. This is an issue of criminality, child abuse and decent human behavior.
Jim Jordan is Trump’s right hand. He can’t escape the ties in that direction. Don’t fall for it. Go after him with both barrels for letting those boys be left at the mercy of a monster. They wanna defend that? It will bring them and their credibility don.
