Article 1, Section 9, clause 1 (No power to ban slavery until 1808 in any State)
Article IV, Section 2 (free States cannot protect slaves)
Fugitive Slave Act !850, where the Supreme Court upheld the holding of slaves who had no legal right to escape and any person seeing them, could arrest, hold or hang them depending on circumstances. . Although these human beings being valuable property usually were either sold again or returned to original 'owners'.
Then came the 13th Amendment passed by Congress January 1865, ratified Dec. 1865.

there is no empathy overall because black life, child or adult, to the majority, is worth much less than white life. Just a fact of american living. Always has been a fact for over 300 years now and always will be.

in this time of trump and his chumps. This article is a very real reflection of america in the 21st century and especially after the election of Barack Obama and the Republican Party gave the Roof's and Bundy's of America a political Party to believe in and champion their rascist cause(s). I blame Ryan, O'crybaby and all the rest on hate radio and television that PROMISED to keep the first african-American POTUS from accomplishing anything great for ALL americans so that history would reflect failure of our POTUS.

at not being recognized as the superior race, ever, again? Anxiety over the fact that minority status is looming for human beings in america that claim white european ancestry? If america had lived up to it's touted principles/claims of being the land "of liberty and justice for all" truly offered true equality for all, race, class gender, sexual orientation and civil position in society wouldn't be a source of deadly conflict and a hitler clone wouldn't be a leader of a major american political party.
