“I want to do the next debate, but everybody is talking about the mic.”

During a phone interview Friday with The New York Times, Donald Trump was asked if he would be attending the next presidential debate. He responded, saying he would like to attend, however, “everybody is talking about the mic,” as he dropped hints that he may bail over concerns of equipment failure.

On phone, @patrickhealynyt asked Trump if he'd do 2nd debate, “I want to do the next debate, but everybody is talking about the mic.”

Almost immediately following Monday night’s debate, Trump began blaming his failed performance on his mic, claiming that it was defective. When reporters asked about the Republican candidate’s less than mediocre performance, Trump’s response was:

‘I had a problem with a microphone that didn’t work. I don’t know if you saw that in the room. My microphone was terrible. I wonder was it set up that way on purpose. My microphone in the room, they couldn’t hear me, you know, it was going on and off. Which isn’t exactly great. I wonder if it was set up that way, but it was terrible. When I tested, it was beautiful, like an hour before, I said “what a great mic.”

"And if they can be educated they certainly will come over to the side of Donald Trump..."

Trump Supporter Jon Voight: If Blacks 'Can Be Educated' They'd Vote Donald Trump

Voight, who has been relentlessly attacking President Obama since he was elected, including saying he was starting a civil war, joined Sean Hannity and told the talk show host that if black people "can be educated" they'd vote for Donald Trump.

He said, "Like I think it's so important Donald Trump went to that black church and spoke to the black people directly. And if they can be educated they certainly will come over to the side of Donald Trump and the Republicans."

TWO MONTH "undercover" operation at MD Burger King "DRUG HOTBED" ends with 5 gram / 2 pill arrest

THURMONT, Md. - A months long undercover drug operation in Maryland ended up being mostly a bust.

An officer from the Thurmont Police Department worked undercover as an employee at a local Burger King for nearly two months, acting on community complaints that the fast-food joint was a hotbed for drug-dealing activity. After the operation ended, two Burger King employees were arrested with 5 grams of marijuana and two morphine pills, according to the Frederick News Post.

Five grams of pot is equal to about 15 joints. In Maryland, possession of less than 10 grams of marijuana results in a fine of $100. But because the men sold the drugs to the undercover officer, they were arrested.

The elaborate operation began with the unidentified female officer getting a job at the restaurant like any normal person would. She submitted a resume "that included some of her work history but excluded her law enforcement career," according to the News Post. She was hired by the restaurant in early August.

"I never discuss it. I never discuss it. It was never a problem. I don’t talk about it. I don’t..."

Mr. Trump said he believed that his own marital history did not preclude him from waging such an attack. He became involved with Marla Maples while he was still married to his first wife, Ivana, who divorced him in 1991. He married Ms. Maples in 1993; they were divorced in 1999. He married his current wife, Melania, in 2005.

While Mr. Trump has bragged about his sexual exploits over the years, he charged in the interview that Mr. Clinton had numerous indiscretions that “brought shame onto the presidency, and Hillary Clinton was there defending him all along.”

But when asked if he had ever cheated on his wives, Mr. Trump said: “No — I never discuss it. I never discuss it. It was never a problem.”

Asked specifically about his affair with Ms. Maples when he was married to Ivana Trump, Mr. Trump said: “I don’t talk about it. I wasn’t president of the United States. I don’t talk about it. When you think of the fact that he was impeached, the country was in turmoil, turmoil, absolute turmoil. He lied with Monica Lewinsky and paid a massive penalty.”

BREAKING: America Unexpectedly Becomes Great Again Without Trump Intervention, Mogul Despondent

Breaking story, so no link yet.

FOX NEWS NEW YORK: The morning crew of Fox News' "Fox & Friends" was clearly stunned this morning when reporting that America, at 11:57 PM last night, became great again.

Respected journalist Steve Doocy told the Fox audience that "We sure didn't see it coming, folks, but last night...right before midnight...it came across the wire services that America is "great" again. I guess this means that Donald Trump will have to change his campaign slogan to something like "Keeping America Great" or "America Great Redux" or "Look, Honey, America Is Great Again," but we know one thing. Mr. Trump's high level of personal integrity that stands behind every product and service in the Trump brand, from his mouth-watering steaks to his opulent hotels, will surely motivate a change in his marketing tactics."

Trump had been seen in his office at Trump Tower earlier today, staring wordlessly across his half-eaten order of an Egg McMuffin and hash browns, which had been delivered earlier by New Jersey Governor Chris Christie. In a barely audible voice, he muttered "Take this away." Christie replied "Where, Boss?" Trump then reclined on his luxurious leather sofa, stared at the ceiling, and muttered "the horror..."

Trump's running mate, Indiana Governor Mike Pence, told reporters "This is all a big misunderstanding. There are 39 days until the Presidential Election, and I have every confidence that America will slip back down to being not-so-great again, and when it does, I will be right there by President Trump's side to make it great again. As George W. Bush famously said, fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice and you don't get fooled again."

Former U.S. President George W. Bush could not be reached for comment.

Snopes: "Michael Savage Removed from Air After Discussing Hillary's Health" - FALSE

It's viral all over Facebook.

But not the false part.

http://www.snopes.com/michael-savage-removed/

WHAT'S TRUE: Michael Savage's nationally syndicated radio show was temporarily preempted by one station in favor of live, on-scene coverage of the 26 September 2016 presidential debate.

WHAT'S FALSE: Michael Savage was not fired or removed from the airwaves for discussing Hillary Clinton's health.

Origin: On 26 September 2016 rumors began circulating that popular conservative political commentator Michael Savage had been fired, replaced by a liberal host, or forcibly removed from the radio airwaves by operatives of Hillary Clinton after he published the following tweets:

Hannity: The idea of Trump snorting a mountain of yayo before the debate is "an absurd accusation"

The fact that Donald Trump is a teetotaler is a well documented fact. Trump, according to numerous interviews and reports, has never drank alcohol, taken illicit drugs, or smoked a cigarette. In fact, according to an interview with Esquire magazine the real estate mogul even stays away from coffee.

Trump's dedication to sobriety comes, in part, from his brother's struggle with alcoholism.

"I learned a lot from my brother, Fred," Trump told Forbes in a 2011 interview in which the magazine profiled 10 "Teetotaling Moguls". "He set an example. It wasn’t, maybe, the example that people would think, but it really was, in its own way, an example. That here was this fantastic guy, who got caught up in the alcohol, and he ultimately died from alcoholism."

In addition to never having himself had a drink, done drugs, or smoked a cigarette, temperance has been a virtue Trump has made an effort to instill in his children, something he spoke at length about in December of 2015.

"He ripped Mrs. Clinton in scathing terms that he declined to use when they were face to face..."

Mr. Trump, for his part, sought to blame everything but himself. During an appearance on Fox News on Tuesday, he charged that the moderator, Lester Holt of NBC News, had become overly aggressive with him — although he inaccurately said that Mr. Holt had questioned him over a 1973 federal discrimination lawsuit against Mr. Trump’s company. (Mrs. Clinton had raised the lawsuit question.) He also suggested that his performance was related to a faulty mike — even though he was perfectly audible during the telecast — and that he may have been the victim of sabotage.

And at a rally in Florida on Tuesday night, he ripped Mrs. Clinton in scathing terms that he declined to use when they were face to face.

But Mr. Trump’s lack of facility as a one-on-one debater was glaring at times on Monday, such as his inability to challenge Mrs. Clinton’s judgment over the attacks on the American diplomatic mission in Benghazi, Libya. He protested on Fox News that he could not find a way to bring up Benghazi, saying, “Don’t forget, you are asked a question as to progress or as to something, and it’s hard to get off to Benghazi sometimes the way the questions were framed.”

Mrs. Clinton, who prepared at length for the debate, was far more deft at unnerving her opponent, finding a way during an exchange about trade to bring up a loan that Mr. Trump had received from his father. Topics during general election debates are often inserted at prime openings by the candidates themselves, rather than by the moderators, whom Mr. Trump relied on during the primary debates to set the tone.

'tis a pity the "Secret Hack To Get Headphone Jack on the iPhone 7" video lacked a sarcasm smiley

http://www.wcnc.com/ext/news/nation-now/psa-dont-drill-into-your-iphone-7/275/nationnow/32KXvyzbjiW8MSkEQI4k4A

iPhone 7 owners desperate for a headphone jack might be drilling a hole into their shiny new Apple device because of a YouTube video.

Secret Hack to Get Headphone Jack on the iPhone 7 by TechRax isn’t meant to be an informational tutorial. It's a joke, but some people aren't laughing. The video directs users to place their new iPhone 7 in a vice and drill a hole into the bottom of the device. Then, plug in earbuds and listen to your favorite song, even though sound doesn't appear to come through the earbuds in the video.

While the new phone is water resistant, it probably won't survive a power drill.

Most all of TechRax’s videos include destroying phones to see what happens, including boiling an iPhone 7 in hot water and shooting paintballs at an iPhone 6S. According to the channel, Tech Rax has been “smashing technology since 2011.” (TechRax is also the YouTuber behind that Coke and Mentos pool video.)

Taras Maksimuk, @TechRax on Twitter, said he's been getting hate for posting the video.
