WASHINGTON—Special Counsel Robert Mueller is investigating former White House national security adviser Mike Flynn’s work on an unfinished film financed by Turkish interests as part of its wider probe into whether Mr. Flynn improperly concealed financial ties to Turkey and to Russia, according to people familiar with the matter.

Trump: I turned down Time's 'Person of the Year'

President Trump said Friday that he turned down being named Time's "Person of the Year" after the magazine only told him he "probably" would be selected.

Trump's tweet Friday afternoon follows an online readerss poll that shows Trump being outperformed by singer Taylor Swift and San Juan Mayor Carmen Yulin Cruz for this year's honor.

This year's winner will be announced on Dec. 6.
