Rolling Stone ranks top 100 TV shows of all time
I'm just going to list the top 25 here because exhaustion/laziness!
Three of the top four are actually on my list, but in a different order for me (Breaking Bad is #1, Sopranos #2 and The Wire #3).
But I disagree with MASH at #25. Too low! There are a bunch of shows ranked ahead of it that are not better, IMO. I've never even heard of #5 (Fleabag???) And Succession at #11? Don't even get me started (overrated!!).
What are your quibbles with this list?
1. The Sopranos
2. The Simpsons
3. 'Breaking Bad'
4 'The Wire'
5. 'Fleabag'
6. Seinfeld
7. Mad Men
8. Cheers
9. Atlanta
10. The Mary Tyler Moore Show
11. Succession
12. The Twilight Zone
13. Veep
14. The Americans
15. The Larry Sanders Show
16. Twin Peaks

Four best Tom Hanks movies?
Tom himself says even though he's been in nearly 100 films, only four of them are "pretty good." That's silly. Maybe he means that dozens and dozens of others are VERY good??
Anyway, what are your top four favorite Tom Hanks movies?
Mine:
Road to Perdition
Saving Private Ryan
Forrest Gump
Captain Phillips

Pierre Poilievre is doing well in the polls. Perhaps it's that shiny new "leader" glint that he will tarnish again and again, repelling some "centrist" voters.
September 27, 2022 The ascendance of Pierre Poilievre as leader of the Conservatives is giving his party an advantage in vote intent over the Liberals not seen in more than three years.
Since the 2019 election, the two parties have been locked in what has mostly amounted to a statistical tie in national vote intention generally driven by the rise and fall the fortunes of the Trudeau government in the moment rather than momentum for the Conservatives. Now the opposition party which last month elected its third leader in as many years is pulling together a right-of-centre base that includes not only its own supporters but those who turned out for the Peoples Party in the 2021 general election.
The result is now a seven-point lead in vote intention for the Conservatives, according to new data from the non-profit Angus Reid Institute. Three-quarters of those who supported the PPC in the last federal election (5% of Canadians voted for the PPC) say they would now support the CPC.
Overall, three-in-ten Canadians say they would vote Liberal, while one-in-five would vote for the NDP.
