Trump has made me religious again.

I am a former catholic who is now an atheist, but I pray to whatever power there is that this hateful man is removed from office.

Why am I pro-choice?

Because faced with a pregnancy scare at 19, I knew that I had to have an abortion. As soon as possible or my life would be a wreck.

All those years of Catholic doctrine and teaching went right out the window when my own ass was on the line.

Thankfully, I was not pregnant. But that experience taught me a lot. I was in the other person's shoes.

Been an ex-catholic and very pro-choice ever since.

Despite my own wishes and common sense, I got political on Thanksgiving.

And I swore to myself I would not. I kept my peace until late, at least.

Hearing my father and a cousin rant about how unfair the media is to Trump drove me over the edge.

I said that is such bullshit. In my view, he is getting a pass from the media.

I also said I am absolutely ashamed that a racist, sexist, misogynist bigot is president of this country. And I am ashamed a that religious fanatic anti-choice woman hater is vice president.

They argued with me and I told them to enjoy it while they can. 3 million+ voted for Hillary and we will never let this happen again.

I left a little early. Conflicted. Feeling sorry for losing it but glad I spoke up.

Went home, poured a glass of wine and listened to Ani Defranco.

Just got back from girls night out with friends.

The word on everyone's lips is IMPEACHMENT. All of my GFs, everyone around us, the bartender. We all agree Trump has to resign or be impeached. Drive this insane administration from office. Please.

I am suffering from Trump depression.

This is not the direction I EVER wanted this country to go in. When I was young and idealistic I thought we were good when Nixon resigned. Reagan was awful, Bush 1 was ineffective. Clinton did a good job IMHO. Bush 2 was a total freaking disaster. The Obama administration was fresh air. So much progress was made. Now it is all being lost. And Trump lost the popular vote by 3 million. This administration is against everything I believe in. I wish that mayor of San Juan was president. Just so fucking depressing. Just hoping for impeachment before it is too late.

Wants to block patients from accessing care at Planned Parenthood, ban abortion, punish women and doctors for abortion, roll back insurance coverage for birth control and other lifesaving care, allow businesses to discriminate against LGBTQ people, and worse.

He has a history of passing anti-choice legislation.

Every bit as bad as T-rump.
