The GOP can vote right now to call Biden's son

to testify. Clair McCaskill and Sen Warner just said they can hold a vote on the floor any time if they really wanted to. They do not want to for some reason...like it may fall flat? Are they afraid that this will go nowhere?

So Collins shouted, "That's not true" when House Managers

said tRump threatened the GOP senators telling them that their heads would be on pikes if they didn't vote the way he wanted. I think that's what Chris Hayes just said to Rachel.

"What's Eating America" new MSNBC show with

Andrew Zimmern.

https://www.msnbc.com/whatseatingamerica

"In each episode, Andrew Zimmern travels the country to see first-hand the impact these critical issues– immigration, climate change, addiction, voting rights and healthcare– have on food and the everyday lives of Americans. What’s Eating America premieres Sunday, February 16 at 9PM ET on MSNBC with a special two-hour long episode featuring fellow award-winning chef and humanitarian José Andrés."

I read Zimmern's political statements along with his cooking demos, etc on his Twitter account and he is a hard core Dem. I'm looking forward to seeing him with Chef Jose too.

Brian Williams surprised me when he said that

A lot of the GOP Senators had not heard the case being put forth when it was over in the House and were unaware about a lot of the info that the public is aware of. That never occurred to me that GOP Senators would know less than we do by watching it on TV. He said many were not interested in hearing what the Dems were doing in the House for several weeks of testimony and are somewhat clueless about the details and the whole picture.

CALL THE SENATE

(202)224-3121 ...DC directory.

If you can't get through, leave a message. I called 28 GOP senators in two hours and was able to leave a message with most of them, only a few had full mailboxes. It is better to leave a message, in my opinion, since I do not want a response but I do want them to think I am a pissed off constituent who thinks that not allowing witnesses, etc is unAmerican and looks like they are hiding something. I pretend I voted for them but won't in the future and "warn" them that I am not alone and they are shooting themselves in their feet. I'll call the rest tomorrow.

Leave a message and keep calling! RESISTANCE IS PATRIOTIC!

About BigmanPigman

I am 57, retired teacher and illustrator, life-long dem., activist, union member. Also I do not use social media and I'm technologically retarded. I love dogs, rock music and swearing (a lot). My 17 year old "puppy" died on June 2, 2020. She grew up listening to Animals (Pink Floyd). She has kept me sane through the tRump years, not easy, and has given me endless love, companionship, kisses and tail wags.
