America cares - everyone on flight watching the hearings

A Colorado day care used a "false wall" to hide 26 children under the age of 3 in a basement, police said, concealing the fact it had too many children in its care.
Officers went to Play Mountain Place in Colorado Springs Wednesday after complaints about overcrowding there when they found the children along with two adults behind the false wall. The day care had a licensed capacity of six children, according to May 2019 data on the Colorado Department of Human Services website.
The department immediately suspended the day care's license while it investigates, the agency said in a statement.
Police didn't immediately find any children when they first arrived at the day care, the Colorado Springs Police Department said in a statement. They contacted owner Carla Faith, who lives on the property, and she "refused to cooperate" with the officers, police said.
But police could hear children in her home, and while investigating, they found a false wall leading to the basement.
"Officers immediately began working with DHS to release the children back to their parents," the police department said.
The state Department of Human Services received the complaint Wednesday and enlisted police help in carrying out the welfare check, the department said in a statement.

TRump responds to witness tampering charge

Press secretary claims Trump tweet not witness intimidation because it is not a trial but president says it is
White House Press Secretary Stephanie Grisham says President Donald Trump did not engage in witness intimidation Friday morning when he, in real time, posted tweets attacking his former Ambassador to Ukraine, Marie Yovanovich, during her testimony before a House impeachment inquiry hearing. Trump is being accused by Democrats and Republicans alike of witness intimidation or witness tampering, with even Fox News anchors saying Trumps tweets constitute an additional article of impeachment.
The tweet was not witness intimidation, it was simply the Presidents opinion, which he is entitled to, Grisham said in a statement given to Fox News. This is not a trial, it is a partisan political process or to put it more accurately, a totally illegitimate, charade stacked against the President.
(Grisham is wrong on all counts. Impeachment is embedded in the U.S. Constitution.)
And yet, an 18-page memo of talking points distributed Tuesday evening to House Republicans argues differently, charging Chairman Schiff offered no due process protections for the President.
President Donald Trump has claimed he is on trial and repeatedly eight times, at least complained he is not being afforded due process. A few examples:

Nothing says Christmas like $30 Trump Pence wrapping paper and $60 Keep America Great ornaments

Trump is far ahead of his Democratic challengers... in kicking off the holiday shopping season, at least.
The online store supporting the presidents re-election bid has added $30 Trump Pence wrapping paper, a $40 Trump Pence wooden train set, as well as $60 Keep America Great hat ornaments for the holidays. The Christmas holidays, anyway theres nothing Hanukkah or Kwanza-themed to be found in the store.
The presidents rivals also have fundraising gift shops of their own, but the campaign sites for Democratic presidential candidates including Joe Biden, Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders and Pete Buttigieg havent posted any holiday-themed merchandise just yet.

Viewers baffled as GOP counsel appears to push anti-Trump talking points during Yovanovich cross-examinationPublished 9 mins ago on November 15, 2019By Brad Reed
House Republican impeachment inquiry attorney Steve Castor on Friday baffled viewers with a line of questioning that appeared to be beneficial to House Democrats case for impeaching President Donald Trump.
Among other things, Castor referred to ambassador Bill Taylor as a man of integrity and also didnt challenge former ambassador Marie Yovanovichs story that she had been the subject of a smear campaign launched by Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani.
In fact, Castors line of questioning was so friendly to House Democrats, that some Twitter users joked that he was a deep state plant whos secretly helping to impeach the president.
Check out some reactions below.
Republican counsel could not be doing a better job of helping Yovanovitch hit the highlights of her previous testimony.

Castor is allowing Yovanovitch to further discuss the allegation that Giuliani was behind a smear campaign against her in Ukraine. It seems like a line of questions the Democrats would be more likely to ask.

Sign of how bad the GOP case is: The GOP counsel is praising Taylor, a damaging witness to Trump.
Christina Reynolds (@creynoldsnc) November 15, 2019
I get what the deep state GOP is doing: bring in the lawyer (Steve Castor) who brilliantly ran your successful Benghazi hearings to guarantee Trump gets impeached. https://t.co/bwvq7H0I7T

Is Steve Castor trying to help Democrats? How is this line of questioning helpful to Republicans?
Emily C. Singer (@CahnEmily) November 15, 2019
Steve Castor's attempt to discredit Ambassador Yovanovitch by validating the credibility of Ambassador Taylor seems unwise.

Theres a very odd thing going on in an Idaho public library.
Somebody keeps hiding the books he doesnt want people to read. Theyre mostly anti-Trump books like Michael Wolffs Fire and Fury, but also an LGBTQ book and even a golf book: Commander in Cheat: How Golf Explains Trump, written by . . . well . . . me.
He even left a clue. I noticed a large volume of Books attacking our President, read a note in the librarys comments box. I dont want this propaganda winding up in the hands of young minds.
This surprised me for three reasons:
1. Minds have hands?
2. There are still comments boxes?
3. A hardcore Trumper went inside a library?
The IdaHider has struck many times, but, alas, he remains at large. Where is Agatha Christie when you need her?
The director of the Coeur dAlene library, Bette Ammon, 68, is stumped. We dont have security or cameras or anything like that, Bette tells me. They tried flying a camera drone above the stacks to look for books, but that didnt work at all, perhaps because librarians should not be anywhere within a par 5 of drones.
Where does Hidaho stash the books that offend him? Sometimes theyre turned around so you cant see the title on the spine. Sometimes theyre moved to sections where youd never look for them. My book, which was supposed to be in Political Commentary at 973.933, was found days later by a staffer on its side behind the novelist Stuart Woodss section (WOOD).
---
This little news story has made it all over the world and has stirred people to stand up for libraries. A woman from Germany offered to pay for replacements of all the hidden books. Another woman sent a check with the note When I lived there, your library was my haven.
---------
I think what Hidaho is doing is wrong, whether a righty is hiding Fire and Fury or a lefty is hiding Donald Trump Jr.s Triggered: How the Left Thrives on Hate and Wants to Whoa This Title Is Way Too Long. Either way, its censorship.
Thats why, on Nov. 21, Ill be coming to the Coeur dAlene library with an armful of 10 of my books, which Ill hide myself. (Your move, Hidaho.) Ill secret away at least one book in the following sections:
●Narcissism (155.232)
●True Crime (364.00)
●Horror (KING), among others.
You can hide one of my books, Hidaho, but can you hide 10?
Someone hid my book at an Idaho library. So I'm bringing 10 of them to hide myself.

(CNN)Three Indiana judges have been suspended without pay for their involvement in an intoxicated fight outside a White Castle, according to court documents.
An opinion from the Indiana Supreme Court ruled that the three judges -- Andrew Adams of the Clark Circuit Court 1, Bradley B. Jacobs of the Clark Circuit Court 2 and Sabrina R. Bell of the Crawford Circuit Court -- engaged in judicial misconduct by participating in the brawl in the restaurant's parking lot in Downtown Indianapolis.
-------------------------
Adams, Bell and Jacobs arrived in Indianapolis for a statewide judicial educational event on April 30 and began to drink and socialize, the document said.
At around 3 a.m. the next morning, the judges walked together to a strip club, the document said. But the club was closed and they walked to a nearby White Castle restaurant.
While they were standing outside in the White Castle parking lot, two men drove by and shouted something at the three judges out of the window of their vehicle. Bell flipped off the men, the document said, and they pulled into the lot and the five began to argue.
The document said Bell was intoxicated at the time and has no memory of the incident or what was said to incite it.
The verbal argument then turned physical, with Jacobs bringing one of the men to the ground and Adams kicking him in the back. The fight ended when the man pulled out a gun, shooting Adams once and Jacobs twice, the document said. The men were taken to local hospitals and underwent emergency surgeries.
