Milwaukee gunman ("He was a great electrician. He taught me so much,") and victims

MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee police on Thursday identified the five victims of the Molson Coors shooting as well as the gunman, who took his own life.

The victims, all of whom lived in Wisconsin, are:

Jesus Valle Jr., 33 of Milwaukee
Gennady Levshetz, 61, of Mequon
Trevor Wetselaar, 33, of Milwaukee
Dana Walk, 57, of Delafield
Dale Hudson, 50, of Waukesha
They were power house operators, machinists and electricians, Milwaukee Police Chief Alfonso Morales said.

Police identified the shooter as Anthony N. Ferrill, 51, who had worked as an electrician for more than 20 years, about 17 of them at Molson Coors.

Hudson was known by coworkers as "Huddy," a co-worker who asked not to be identified told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

"He was a great electrician. He taught me so much," the co-worker said, adding Hudson frequently picked up lunches and dinners for apprentices, who earned less.

Americans can't figure out what Ivanka Trump is doing in India

The first daughter was criticized just last week by Walter Shaub, the former head of the U.S. Office of Government Ethics, for what he characterized as a taxpayer-funded “corporate” junket to Dubai on what happened to be the third anniversary of the Trump International Golf Club Dubai.

India is home to the most Trump-branded real estate ventures outside of North America — including four luxury high-rises and an office tower, notes The Washington Post. Unlike other presidents, Trump — and his family — did not divest from his businesses when he moved into the White House.

One of Trump’s business partners in India is facing a financial crunch, while another has been accused of massive fraud. Both are closely linked to India’s ruling Bharatiya Janata Party, headed by Modi. A first family visit could boost their bottom line.

But what U.S. national interests are being served by Ivanka Trump’s visit confused many. After the first daughter declared the Taj Mahal “awe inspiring” in a tweet — and Instagram with Jared — scads of people responded: “What are you doing there?”

Alyssa Mastromonaco, former White House deputy chief of staff for operations in the Obama administration, cracked: “Why am I paying for their 2nd honeymoon omfg.”

Trump Suggests More Lawsuits Against Media For Expressing 'Wrong' Opinions

Trump Suggests More Lawsuits Against Media For Expressing ‘Wrong’ Opinions
A journalist asked the president if he believed “if people have an opinion contrary to yours that they should be sued?”

https://www.huffpost.com/entry/trump-media-opinion-lawsuit_n_5e5720b7c5b66137fb5d7ef6

President Donald Trump doubled down on his campaign’s decision to sue The New York Times for libel over an opinion piece Wednesday, claiming that the writer’s opinion was “totally wrong” and that there will be more lawsuits coming.

At a news briefing Wednesday night, Brian Karem, Playboy magazine’s White House correspondent and a CNN analyst, brought up the libel suit against the Times over a 2019 opinion article by Max Frankel, former executive editor of the Times. Karem asked the president: “Is it your opinion or is it your contention that if people have an opinion contrary to yours that they should be sued?”

“Well, when they get the opinion totally wrong, as The New York Times did, and, frankly, they’ve got a lot wrong over the last number of years,” Trump said. “So we’ll see how that, let that work its way through the courts.”

“If you read it, you’ll see. It’s beyond an opinion. That’s not an opinion. That’s much more than an opinion,” the president said. “They did a bad thing, and there will be more coming.”

Rudy Giuliani complains he only has 'five friends left' after forgetting to hang up on journalist

https://www.nydailynews.com/news/politics/ny-giuliani-berates-pataki-friends-20200226-vsczidr3hvegnhgbpoc3ty5wtq-story.html#nt=oft-Double%20Chain~Flex%20Feature~top-version1~rudy-636p~~1~yes-art~curated~curatedpage

Giuliani — who has become infamous for butt-dialing journalists — made the mopey confession to someone named “Tony” after this reporter reached out about Pataki’s forthcoming book, which alleges the ex-Hizzoner privately asked the former governor to call off the city’s 2001 mayoral election so he could remain in office in the wake of the 9/11 attacks.

“There were people who wanted me to do it,” Giuliani told The News, still aware he was on the phone. “I thought about it for two days, but I never asked him to do it. I never made the decision to do it.”

Then, Giuliani said he had to hang up because he was about to board a flight. “I’m heading to LA, I’m heading to LA,” he said.

But Giuliani never hung up.

“He’s trying to sell a book,” Giuliani told Tony while this reporter stayed on the line. “Even if we would have had that conversation, it would have been privileged between a mayor and a governor … He’s an honorable guy. I can’t believe he would do that. I just keep getting disappointed. I got about five friends left.”

Giuliani, who became political poison in some of his old Big Apple circles after taking on the job as President Trump’s personal lawyer, accused Pataki of making him “sound like a power-hungry politician.”

“I’m so shocked," Giuliani said.

Eventually, the ex-mayor hung up after stating that the conversation Pataki recalls in his book “didn’t take place.”

Pataki, who never ended up cancelling the 2001 election, “stands by” his allegation, said spokesman David Catalfamo.

About 15 minutes after the first conversation, Giuliani called again, seemingly unaware he had already spoken to this reporter.

“The governor is wrong,” Giuliani said. “I’m very disappointed that George would write something like that.”

CDC recommends men shave their beards to protect against coronavirus CORONAVIRUS by: CNN Newsource

https://www.kron4.com/health/coronavirus/cdc-recommends-men-shave-their-beards-to-protect-against-coronavirus/

Face masks and respirators are being used around the world in an effort to combat the massive global spread of the deadly coronavirus.

The CDC cautions that facial hair can interfere with those devices.

A CDC infographic displays dozens of styles, showing which ones are compatible with masks and respirators.

Some types of facial hair can keep the exhalation valve from working properly, according to health officials.

Styles such as side whiskers, handlebar mustaches, and several others are okay, but styles such as mutton chops and full beards are not recommended.

Things like goatees and villain mustache are okay, with caution.
