She also informed the 911 operator that no one was able to perform CPR on Sampson because they were unable to shift him to his back.
'No, no, he's a heavy dude. He's on his stomach,' the woman said.
Tyre's father, Yarnell, said that his son was 6-foot-5 and 340 pounds, and was told by other rides in the park that he was too large to ride safely, but that the Free Fall ride operators waved him aboard.
Sampson had been worried about the harness prior to the ride beginning, his father said, and told his friends sitting next to him to tell his parents that he loved them.
'When the ride took off, that's when he was feeling uncomfortable. He was like 'this thing is moving,' you know what I'm saying. And he was like 'what's going on?' Yarnell told WOFL-TV.

Questlove: Collecting Is an Act of Devotion, and Creation, one man's collection
By Ahmir Questlove Thompson
Mr. Thompson is an Academy Award-nominated filmmaker, drummer, D.J., producer, director, culinary entrepreneur and member of the Roots.
I have been collecting things for as long as I can remember. As a very young child, when I listened to music, read interviews or watched movies, they lingered in my memory, and I didnt want them to leave me. Eventually, I got to thinking about the physical objects that brought me those experiences vinyl records, print magazines. Collecting those items became a way to prevent the past from slipping away.
Music is at the heart of his collection. He owns more than 200,000 records.
He also collects music in other formats, including eight-tracks and cassette tapes.
Toys, books, visual art, jerseys and sneakers figure prominently, too.
hypocrite Ted Cruz... his daughters attend a pricey anti-racist school like the one he attacked
https://www.nytimes.com/2022/03/25/us/ted-cruz-antiracist-school.htmlMr. Cruz said during the hearing that the curriculum of Georgetown Day, an expensive private school in Northwest Washington where Judge Jackson is one of 23 members of the board of trustees, was filled and overflowing with critical race theory. Critical race theory is an academic concept that Republicans have increasingly used as a vague, catchall term to criticize how educators infuse ideas about racism and inequality into curriculum.
-------------------------------
St. Johns School, where Mr. Cruzs daughters are students, is also an elite institution, with annual tuition topping $32,000, according to its website. And leaders there have advocated a similar antiracist stance.
In June 2020, shortly after George Floyd, a Black man, was killed by a white police officer who pinned Mr. Floyds neck under his knee, setting off protests across the country, school leaders wrote to the community about their approach.
St. Johns, as an institution, must be antiracist and eliminate racism of any type including institutional racism within our school community and beyond, wrote Mark Desjardins, then the schools headmaster, and John Moody, the chairman of the board of trustees.
A statement on community and inclusion, approved by the board in 2018, says the school ensures cultural intelligence and proficiency for all community members. It also incorporates cultural proficiency, diversity, global awareness and inclusivity into all facets of the curriculum.
Jury awards $14M to George Floyd protesters in Denver
https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/jury-awards-14m-to-george-floyd-protesters-in-denver/ar-AAVvL20DENVER (AP) Jurors on Friday found police used excessive force against protesters, violating their constitutional rights, during demonstrations over the killing of George Floyd two years ago, ordering the city to pay a total of $14 million in damages to a group of 12 who sued.
The jury of two men and six women, largely white and drawn from around Colorado, returned its verdict after about four hours of deliberations. The verdict followed three weeks of testimony and evidence that included police and protester video of incidents.
Lawyers involved believed it was the first trial in a lawsuit challenging officer tactics during the 2020 protests that erupted around the nation over the police killing of Floyd and other Black people.
The protesters who sued were shot at or hit by everything from pepper spray to a Kevlar-bag filled with lead shot fired from a shotgun. Zach Packard, who was hit in the head by the shotgun blast and ended up in the intensive care unit, received the largest damage amount $3 million.
One of the protesters' lawyers, Timothy Macdonald, had urged jurors to send a message to police in Denver and elsewhere by finding the city liable during closing arguments.
Cawthorn is hated.
Cawthorn, whos running for reelection against seven primary challengers, finds himself positively drowning in bad headlines lately: He was charged with driving with a revoked license earlier this month in his third traffic violation, hes come under fire from members of his own party after he went off on a deranged tirade against Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and a group of North Carolina voters are still trying to get him disqualified from office over his role in the Jan. 6 Capitol insurrection, even after a Trump-appointed judge blocked their effort.

Florida restaurant cancels 'going to prison' party of Capitol rioter seen carrying Pelosi's lectern
A Florida restaurant has canceled plans to host a party for a Parrish man who was convicted in connection with the Jan. 6, 2021, U.S. Capitol riot, KTLA sister station WFLA reports.
WFLA confirmed that Caddys Bradenton Island, a popular waterfront restaurant located in Bradenton, Florida, canceled a going to prison party hosted by rioter Adam Johnson after a Facebook post for the event gained attention on social media.
Come help me celebrate my last Friday of freedom before I go to prison for the lamest charge in history, the page reads.
Johnson made national headlines when he was photographed carrying House Speaker Nancy Pelosis lectern after entering restricted Capitol grounds on Jan. 6.
He pleaded guilty to entering and remaining in a restricted building in November and was sentenced in February to 75 days in prison.
The restaurants manager told WFLA that Johnson had indeed scheduled the event, but they decided to cancel the party due to the attention its drawing.
The event, called Adams going to prison!, was still live on Facebook as of Friday, with 41 people saying they planned to go.
