The couple had bought the trailer in Poulsbo and was heading south on SR-3 in the center lane around 3 p.m. when the travel trailer began to sway behind their Jeep Cherokee, according to Trooper Chelsea Hodgson. The driver told troopers she was unable to regain control and the trailer flipped over in the left land and landed on its top.
Luckily no one was hurt.
Hodgson originally said the driver will be cited for driving too fast, but later said she wouldn't be cited after all.
"Unbeknownst to them, the trailer has pressure treated 2x6 boards underneath, making the trailer heavier than they believed," Hodgson said.

Bannon inside and confronted him.
Nick Cooke, the owner of Black Swan Books, told the Richmond Times-Dispatch that a woman in his store began verbally accosting Bannon when she saw him, including calling the former Trump adviser a piece of trash. It was shortly afterward that Cooke decided to call police, he said.
Steve Bannon was simply standing, looking at books, minding his own business, Cooke told the newspaper. I asked [the woman confronting Bannon] to leave, and she wouldnt. And I said, Im going to call the police if you dont, and I went to call the police and she left. And thats the end of the story.
The Richmond Police Department confirmed to the Times-Dispatch that a 911 call was made Saturday afternoon but said it was canceled before officers responded.

On Saturday, the reaction to Black Swan Books was swift. Several vowed to boycott the bookstore; one woman accused the owner of [turning] the store into a safe space for white nationalists.

Trump reportedly treats Putin like a 'confidant' and the 2 men commiserate about how the 'fake news' and 'deep state' are against them
President Donald Trump treats Russian President Vladimir Putin as a confidant while bullying and ignoring other world leaders.
Putin, meanwhile, is playing to Trump's strengths and weaknesses the two men often commiserate over how the "fake news" and "deep state" are against them.
"It's not us," Putin reportedly told Trump during one recent conversation. "It's the subordinates fighting against our friendship."

GOP candidate in Kansas: 'Outside of Western civilization, there is only barbarism'
https://www.cnn.com/2018/07/07/politics/steve-fitzgerald-kansas-candidate-barbarism-comments/index.htmlA Republican congressional candidate in a Kansas race Democrats are targeting in November told an audience at a party meeting this month that "outside of Western civilization there is only barbarism."
The comments from State Sen. Steve Fitzgerald, a candidate seeking the Republican nomination in the race to replace retiring Rep. Lynn Jenkins, came at a July 2 meeting of the Leavenworth County Republican Party. During his more-than-30-minute speech, Fitzgerald lamented the fact that people believe "Western civilization is the problem," argued that Christendom is "under attack" and doubled down on his previous statement that Planned Parenthood is worse than a Nazi concentration camp.
"We are being told that Western civilization is the problem in the world," Fitzgerald said, according to video provided by a Democratic operative. "Outside of Western civilization there is only barbarism."
He added: "Our Judeo-Christian ethic is what is civilization. And that is what is under attack here and abroad. It also goes by a different name. Christendom. It's under attack. And even speaking about it can bring you under attack. It has brought me under attack."
Jim Jordan Is Defiant as Allegations Mount, and Supporters Point to 'Deep State'

Representative Jim Jordan is facing the kind of slowly percolating scandal that would bring down other politicians in other times, as new accusers step forward by the day to say the wrestling coach turned politician was aware of sexual misconduct at Ohio State University but did nothing to stop it.
But like the man Mr. Jordan doggedly supports, President Trump, the Ohio Republican has the kind of stalwart supporters who do not lose faith easily, and they are already defending the conservative powerhouse, saying he is the victim of the same deep state conspirators liberal bureaucrats embedded in the government who are trying to bring down the president.
--
When the shows host, Bret Baier, read a quotation by a former Ohio State wrestler and Ultimate Fighting Championship star, Mark Coleman, that Mr. Jordan would have to have dementia to have forgotten what happened, the congressman offered little explanation.
I feel sorry for him, he said of Mr. Coleman. Its just not accurate.
Instead, Mr. Jordan continued to fan conspiracy theories connecting the emergence of the charges to his aggressive questioning last month of Deputy Attorney General Rod J. Rosenstein, the man many Trump supporters hold responsible for the Russia investigation.
I think the timing is suspect when you think about how this whole story came together after the Rosenstein hearing and the speakers race, he said.
Elvis Costello reveals 'very aggressive' cancer diagnosis, cancels European tour dates
https://www.sfgate.com/entertainment/article/Elvis-Costello-reveals-very-aggressive-13054307.phpElvis Costello has canceled his remaining European tour dates for the summer, revealing that he is recovering from surgery to remove a small but very aggressive cancerous malignancy.
The 63-year-old singer and songwriter, best known for late 70s hits such as Alison and Watching the Detectives, said doctors had advised him to pull the shows to avoid putting his health at risk, according to an announcement posted to his website on Friday, July 6.
Six weeks ago my specialist called me and said, You should start playing the Lotto, Costello wrote. He had rarely, if ever, seen such a small but very aggressive cancerous malignancy that could be defeated by a single surgery.
Initially, Costello thought he could continue with his tour, but he said he ultimately realized that the post-surgical guidelines for the surgery, which recommend up to four weeks of recovery time, made it impossible to carry on performing two-hour concerts on a nightly basis.
