The video was posted to YouTube and then deleted, but the Chattanooga Time Free Press uploaded a copy to its own YouTube channel.
On Fox News, Ford Testimony Seen as 'Disaster' for GOP
(Bloomberg) -- The reviews are coming in for Christine Blasey Fords Senate testimony on Donald Trumps favorite network, Fox News -- and they arent good for the Republican Party.
Fox News panelists discussing Fords testimony during a break in the Senate hearing called her credible, and one -- anchor Chris Wallace -- said her recounting of an alleged sexual assault by Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh was a disaster for the GOP. Kavanaugh denies the allegations.
I think Dr. Ford is exceptionally credible, Fox News judicial analyst Andrew Napolitano said. The sex-crimes prosecutor Judiciary Committee Republicans hired to question Ford, Rachel Mitchell, has been hampered by the format of the hearing, he said, which requires Mitchell to ask questions in five-minute blocks and alternate with Democratic senators.

Silence on Wall Street. Tears in a retirement home. The country watches, transfixed, as Ford tells h
At a cafe in Kansas City, Mo., Coleen Voeks sipped a glass of Redemption whiskey. She held it up to the TV, as a kind of toast.
Voeks, now 45, said she was raped in high school but never told anyone until recently. She felt guilt and remorse, as if she had done something wrong.
I shouldnt have gone to his house I knew his family wasnt there, Voeks said. I should have fought harder. You go through those things for years. What could I have done?
She continued: I was 17, and now Im 45, and its taken a long time to get to the point that I realized, when I say no, no means no.
In Milwaukee, a small group of people watched the hearing on TV at a bar called Y-Not.
The TV above the bar showed Rachel Mitchell an Arizona prosecutor brought in by Republicans questioning Ford about her memories and a polygraph test Ford had taken about the allegations.
The crowd, which previously had been ambivalent about the hearing, turned strongly and profanely in favor of Ford.
Shes not on [expletive] trial, said Paul Chier, sitting at the bar, responding to the prosecutors questioning of Ford.
Unfortunately, she is on trial, and she is [expletive] killing it, answered Matt Earnest, sitting three chairs down at the bar.
A bit later, during a break in the hearing, the TV showed Sen. Christopher A. Coons (D-Del.), who said two-thirds of sexual assault victims dont report. Amanda Delsant, a bartender, yelled back at the TV.
Because no one [expletive] believes them! she said, the anger obvious in her voice.

Republicans stunned to learn voters understand exactly what their tax cut did
The American public is, shall we say, less than perfectly informed about matters of politics and policy. For instance, people believe that foreign aid makes up a huge portion of the federal budget, when in truth it accounts for less than 1 percent of federal spending. Indeed, if voters were all well-informed, youd barely need campaigns at all, since people who pay lots of attention to politics and understand issues are almost impervious to the persuasive efforts of 30-second ads and inflammatory mailers.
But every once in a while, the public will actually figure something out on their own and come to an accurate conclusion about a policy. When this happens, one party or the other is bound to be deeply disappointed that their efforts at mass hornswoggling have failed.
This is the position Republicans now find themselves in, Sahil Kapur and Joshua Green report:
A survey commissioned by the Republican National Committee has led the party to a glum conclusion regarding President Donald Trumps signature legislative achievement: Voters overwhelmingly believe his tax overhaul helps the wealthy instead of average Americans.
By a 2-to-1 margin 61 percent to 30 percent respondents said the law benefits large corporations and rich Americans over middle class families, according to the survey, which was completed on Sept. 2 by the GOP firm Public Opinion Strategies and obtained by Bloomberg News.
The result was fueled by self-identified independent voters who said by a 36-point margin that large corporations and rich Americans benefit more from the tax law a result that was even more lopsided among Democrats. Republican voters said by a 38-point margin that the middle class benefits more.
This information is contained in a slide under the title, But, weve lost the messaging battle on the issue. Indeed they have they lost both to the Democrats and to reality.
