The former White House press secretary was lauded for unintentionally saying something true.

Former White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany tried to call out President Joe Biden on Thursday, but received a pat on the back for saying something true instead.

In a primetime address, Biden condemned Republican election deniers for the threat they pose to American democracy.

“Donald Trump and MAGA Republicans represent an extremism that threatens the very foundation of our republic,” he said.

There is a lot of false framing by the anti-American right/GOP. The reality is there are just three questions that matter when it comes to this scandal.

1) Did Trump steal government documents, including top secret information? - YES

2) Did Trump return all the stolen documents when he claimed he did? - NO

3) Have all the stolen documents been returned? - TBD (to be determined)


All the nonsense about the warrant and the search is just intended to distract from the real issue, which is summed up by those questions. Now the real issue is, has the government recovered all of the documents he stole, and if they haven't, where are the missing documents?

The assumption (which I don't think is wise) is that with the search warrant served, all the top secret documents have been returned to the US government. I suspect they will find many missing documents that they did not recover from Trump. This will be the story in a month or two, where are all the missing documents. This will prove as damning as the missing 19 minutes of tape that drove Nixon from the White House
