1 Make no mistake, lies, and deceptions harm America and threaten its very existence

Lies (and deceptions) prevent productive national debate.

Lies launched the costly (in lives and money) and illegal war against Iraq

Lies launched the treasonous attempt to overthrow our government on January 6th

Lies help but the worst president, Trump, in US history into the White House

Lies have propped up some of the most destructive, anti-American politicians in US history.

If you care about America then you don't tell lies or try to deceive. It is also your responsibility not to be deceived or lied to.

Rep. Lauren Boebert Asked A Group Of Jewish Capitol Visitors If They Were Doing "Reconnaissance"

Rep. Lauren Boebert left a group of Jewish visitors to the Capitol bewildered Thursday morning when she asked them if they were doing "reconnaissance" after seeing them at an elevator at the Capitol.

Members of the group, which was meeting with Rep. Tom Suozzi, were wearing yarmulkes, and the person coordinating the group is Orthodox, with a traditional beard.

One witness said the group, along with other members of Congress, was waiting for an elevator. When the doors opened, Boebert stepped out of the elevator and looked the group of visitors “from head to toe,” the witness said. Boebert then asked if they were there to conduct “reconnaissance.”

“When I heard that, I actually turned to the person standing next to me and asked, ‘Did you just hear that?’” a rabbi who was with the group told BuzzFeed News.

Orange County health director Dr. Raul Pino placed on administrative leave for urging staff to get

vaccinated. This is how messed up and anti-people the Republicans have turned Florida

Orange County health director Dr. Raul Pino placed on administrative leave

Sources tell WFTV Pino was placed on paid administrative leave after he sent an email on Jan. 4 to Orange County Department of Health staff about employee COVID-19 vaccination rates.

He wrote that he had an analyst run vaccination data for employees, and that out of the 568 active staff at the department, only 77 had received a COVID-19 booster, 219 had two doses of the vaccine and 34 had only one dose.

“I am sorry but in the absence of reasonable and real reasons it is irresponsible not to be vaccinated,” Pino wrote. “We have been at this for two years, we were the first to give vaccines to the masses, we have done more than 300,000 and we are not even at 50% pathetic.”

On Tuesday, the Florida Department of Health released the following statement regarding Pino’s being placed on leave:

“As the decision to get vaccinated is a personal medical choice that should be made free from coercion and mandates from employers, the employee in question has been placed on administrative leave, and the Florida Department of Health is conducting an inquiry to determine if any laws were broken in this case.

The Department is committed to upholding all laws, including the ban on vaccine mandates for government employees and will take appropriate action once additional information is known.”

Video of Sen. Rand Paul telling students that spreading misinformation is a 'great tactic"

An old video has surfaced of Sen. Rand Paul telling students that spreading misinformation is a 'great tactic'

An old video has surfaced of Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul telling an auditorium of students that he would occasionally spread misinformation, calling it a "great tactic."

The clip, posted to Twitter by epidemiologist Eric Feigl-Ding, shows the Kentucky senator speaking to students during a lecture at the University of Louisville's school of medicine in 2013.

The lecture was reported on at the time by The Atlantic, which detailed the context of the question. According to The Atlantic, Paul was asked by a student if he had "last-minute advice" for their exams the next day.

In response, Paul said that he "never, ever cheated" and did not condone the practice, but added: "But I would sometimes spread misinformation. This is a great tactic. Misinformation can be very important."

What today's GOP stands for

from what I have seen they stand for:

1) Robbing non-Republican voters of their right to vote

2) Using the government to control woman's bodies and taking the right of controlling their bodies from women

3) Getting unqualified mental unstable people into positions of power

4) Disrupting the government and society in any way possible including actual physical attacks on our government institutions as well has made disasters like Covid much worse.

5) Putting an end to the ideas that fact-based discussions and the truth are good things
