JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) - Mississippi Governor Tate Reeves is calling for a shift in the way American history is taught in Mississippi.
Featured in Reeves' 2022 fiscal year budget proposal is the Patriotic Education Fund."
Across the country, young children have suffered from indoctrination in far-left socialist teachings that emphasize Americas shortcomings over the exceptional achievements of this country, the proposed fund states.
The governor claims revisionist history is working to tear down America and is poisoning a generation.

You nailed it again, Bob!
While he has not yet conceded that I know of, I believe SCOTUS refused to hear his case about PA. A behind closed doors affair?
Also, WI announced he will have to pay $7.9 mill up front for a recount.
And GA repuke election official publicly exposed Lindsy Grahm & other repukes pressuring him to exclude some ballots!
I wish he would just evaporate.
Anyway, ty again, Bob, for another stellar call on this festering mess!

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - Shelby County health officials say a major reason theyre seeing more COVID-19 cases stems from infected people going to work and continuing to socialize with family and friends.
In a survey with more than 300 people whove been infected, 53 percent admitted to going to work during their infectious period, when they could pass the virus to others.
When we see people with mild symptoms, they have a new onset cough or feel fatigued or feel a little bit off, said David Sweat with the Shelby County Health Department. They do what we typically do in America. They just kind of push through and still go to work.
snip
The survey also found 27 percent of people with COVID-19 admitted to going to a social activity when they were infectious.
A bit more at link, explaining how covidiots take their mass off at work and become "lax" in social situations.
Once again, I am left wondering how the hell people become this stupid and so egocentric?
Guessing this is pretty typical of those "red areas" of states with soaring covid case nubers.
Mystery solved: Egocentric asshats!

WASHINGTON (AP) Only a few of Americas CEOs have made public statements about President Donald Trumps refusal to accept his election loss, but in private, many are alarmed and talking about what collective action would be necessary if they see an imminent threat to democracy.
On Nov. 6, more than two dozen CEOs of major U.S. corporations took part in a video conference to discuss what to do if Trump refuses to leave office or takes other steps to stay in power beyond the scheduled Jan. 20 inauguration of former Vice President Joe Biden. On Saturday Biden was declared the election winner by The Associated Press and other news organizations.
During the conference, which lasted more than an hour, the CEOs agreed that Trump had the right to pursue legal challenges alleging voter fraud.
But if Trump tries to undo the legal process or disrupts a peaceful transition to Biden, the CEOs discussed making public statements and pressuring GOP legislators in their states who may try to redirect Electoral College votes from Biden to Trump, said Yale Management Professor Jeffrey Sonnenfeld, who convened the meeting.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) Nearly 1,500 students and staff contracted COVID-19 last week, according to the Tennessee Dept. of Health.
The states COVID-19 school dashboard shows about a thousand students tested positive for the virus last week, in addition to the more than 700 the week before, and staff totaling about 800 in the last two weeks.
But the numbers were not seeing are the number of students and staff quarantined due to exposure. Looking at just four of the biggest school districts in Middle Tennessee, thats more than 5,000.
We saw a spike the third week of October when we were coming out of fall break. I think a lot of people saw that, said James Evans, a spokesperson for Rutherford County School District.

Results from a new Cleveland Clinic-led study suggest that melatonin, a hormone that regulates the sleep-wake cycle and is commonly used as an over-the-counter sleep aid, may be a viable treatment option for COVID-19.
Snip
Analysis of patient data from Cleveland Clinic's COVID-19 registry also revealed that melatonin usage was associated with a nearly 30 percent reduced likelihood of testing positive for SARS-CoV-2 (the virus that causes COVID-19) after adjusting for age, race, smoking history and various disease comorbidities. Notably, the reduced likelihood of testing positive for the virus increased from 30 to 52 percent for African Americans when adjusted for the same variables.
Snip
Here, the researchers harnessed network medicine methodologies and large-scale electronic health records from Cleveland Clinic patients to identify clinical manifestations and pathologies common between COVID-19 and other diseases. Specifically, they measured the proximity between host genes/proteins and those well-associated with 64 other diseases across several disease categories (malignant cancer and autoimmune, cardiovascular, metabolic, neurological and pulmonary diseases), where closer proximity indicates a higher likelihood of pathological associations between the diseases.
They found, for example, that proteins associated with respiratory distress syndrome and sepsis, two main causes of death in patients with severe COVID-19, were highly connected with multiple SARS-CoV-2 proteins. "This signals to us, then," explained Dr. Cheng, "that a drug already approved to treat these respiratory conditions may have some utility in also treating COVID-19 by acting on those shared biological targets."
