Update on my wife's Green Card - All plans are finalized
We have our tickets home. We leave Asia for the final time as residents of Thailand April 8th and arrive to go through immigration at Logan in Boston the next day, then sit there and take Southwest to Pittsburgh.
Our house has passed inspection so we will be ready to move into it when we are ready so will live with my parents until then. The old owners kept most of the furniture so it is nearly fully furnished.
She has interviews waiting for her when we get here as do I, and my publisher is waiting for me to come back to start prompting my novel and doing book tours. My screenplay is getting prepped for production later this year.
My father will start training my wife to take over his business when we arrive.
99% done.
BTW, Sen. Fetterman really stepped up for us to get us over the hump and sent a letter to my parents for my wife welcoming her to the US. I believe he went through the same crap with Gizelle I went through with mine.
John Fetterman is an amazing man and has three lifelong voters from now on. When my wife goes for her citizenship, she will vote for him too.
Oh, and she is a solid Democrat too but didn't know it until we quizzed her on her political ideas.

A 'male' humanoid robot appeared to inappropriately touch a female reporter during a presentation.
Named 'Muhammad,' it is Saudi Arabia's first humanoid male robot.
Muhammad is "fully autonomous" and did not deviate from his "expected behavior," the makers said.
A Saudi robotics company's unveiling of a "male" humanoid robot didn't go as planned after it appeared to inappropriately touch a female reporter.
Saudi robotics company QSS debuted "Muhammad the Humanoid Robot" at DeepFest in Riyadh last week. The robot, dressed in traditional Saudi attire, spoke Arabic and English.
In a DeepFest post on X , Muhammad was described as "the first Saudi robot in the form of a man," as well as a national project to highlight Saudi Arabia's AI achievements.

On Feb. 4, 2021, Britt Reid was a 35-year-old assistant for the Kansas City Chiefs, where his dad, Andy, was and is the head coach.
On that day, Britt got drunk while working in the team facility. He then attempted a half hour commute home.
He didn’t make it a mile before slamming his pickup truck, traveling 84 miles an hour, into two cars parked on the side of an interstate on-ramp. One car was having trouble and the other came to help.
Britt Reid injured six that day, including himself. Four were initially hospitalized in serious condition, including a then 4-year-old girl.
The fifth victim was then 5-year-old Ariel Young, who Reid sent into an 11-day coma and a lifetime of challenges.

Trump compares migrants to Hannibal Lecter in 'The Silence of the Lambs'
Former President Donald Trump compared migrants Monday to the character Hannibal Lecter in the film "The Silence of the Lambs" as he ramped up anti-immigrant rhetoric that has become a mainstay of his campaign remarks.
"They’re rough people, in many cases from jails, prisons, from mental institutions, insane asylums," he said of migrants who enter the country unlawfully. "You know, insane asylums, that’s 'Silence of the Lambs' stuff."

Sen. Dan Sullivan (R-Alaska) appeared to brush off concerns about former President Trump’s mental acuity and, instead, spotlighted President Biden, who has faced mounting scrutiny on his mental fitness and ability to carry out a second term.
CBS News’s “Face The Nation” anchor Margaret Brennan brought up Trump’s apparent mix-up over the weekend when he confused former President Obama and Biden and also suggested U.S. troops were serving in Ukraine.
Asked if he is comfortable about Trump’s mental fitness, Sullivan said, “Yes, yes. Compared to the current president? 110 percent. And as your polling shows, I think the American people have real concerns [about] where President Biden is with regard to his fitness for office, particularly his mental acuity.”
“And relative to President Biden or relative to former President Trump, I don’t even think it’s a close call when you see the two in action,” he continued.

Florida man pleads guilty to trafficking thousands of turtles to Hong Kong, Germany
A Florida man, who owns a reptile shop, pleaded guilty in federal court Wednesday for trying to illegally export thousands of wild-caught turtles to Hong Kong and Germany, court records show.
John Michael Kreatsoulas, 36, admitted to trafficking turtles and falsifying documents from July 2015 to July 2021, according to court documents filed in the Southern District of Florida.
Kreatsoulas, the owner of Omni Reptiles, Inc. in Alva, Florida, worked with co-conspirators to sell Florida-origin fresh-water turtles — including three striped mud turtles which is a type of Florida mud turtle —through Miami International Airport, court documents show.
