A Florida woman is suing a local sheriff's department years after she alleges law enforcement officials made her write an apology letter to a man who raped her as a child.

Taylor Cadle, 22, alleged in a lawsuit that Polk County Sheriff's Office personnel, including Sheriff Grady Judd and investigator Melissa Turnage, accused her of lying to investigators, forcing her to write apology notes to her adoptive father who had been raping her for years. According to suit, Taylor was the victim.

ICE arrests superintendent of Iowa's largest school district

The superintendent of Des Moines Public Schools — Iowa’s largest school district – was detained Friday morning by immigration agents, according to the Department of Homeland Security, which said the educator was in the country illegally and had existing weapon possession charges.

Superintendent Ian Roberts – an educator with decades of experience who previously competed as an Olympic athlete for Guyana – was arrested as part of a “targeted enforcement operation” and fled after US Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers approached him, according to statements from DHS and the Iowa Department of Public Safety.

DHS said he was “in possession of a loaded handgun, $3,000 in cash and a fixed blade hunting knife” at the time of his arrest. It’s a violation of federal law to own a firearm and ammunition if an individual doesn’t have legal status in the US.

CNN is working to identify Roberts’ attorney.

I do not trust the immigration people at the border.
I do not trust ICE as she goes through the airport to get from international arrivals to domestic departures.
I do not trust the police to protect her from these kidnappers

I do not trust the government to honor her green card.

I was nervous to death the Chinese government wouldn't let her out due to their at-will enforcement of their social credit system.
I am terrified the American government will destroy my family and not let her back in, protecting the country from a green card holding kindergarten teacher and master's degree student.

All because she isn't white, christian, or come from a country Agent Orange doesn't denounce daily.
